However, with the currently used garnet materials, the minimum attainable bubble diameter is 0.3
It is called pm. Therefore, it is necessary to find a bubble material other than garnet material that can hold bubbles with a diameter of 0.3XXm or less. This is not easy and is even considered to be the limit of bubble density.

A perpendicular Bloch line (hereinafter simply referred to as a Bloch line) that exists statically and stably within a Bloch domain wall that forms the boundary of a striped domain formed in a soft magnetic ferromagnetic material (including ferrimagnetic material) film with a certain direction. A device using a pair of Bloch lines as a storage unit was invented (Japanese Patent Application No. 182346/1983).

Data generation, transfer and detection techniques are used to generate data by generating bubbles in a bubble generator, transferring the bubbles on a bubble transfer path and converting them into Bloch lines at a conversion gate. Also, when reading, after converting the Bloch line into a bubble at the conversion gate,
The structure is such that bubbles are transferred onto a bubble transfer path and read out by a bubble detector.

That is, a data string of bubbles written one after another by the bubble generator 13 provided at the end of the major line 12, which is the first transfer path, is transferred on the major line transfer path, and then transmitted perpendicularly to the major line 12. The second station is located and transfers a large number of Bloch lines.
In order to move the data to a transfer path called a minor loop 14, which is a transfer path of , the data is converted in parallel from a bubble to a Bloch line at a conversion gate 15 provided at the end of each minor loop. At the time of reading, the Bloch line located at the conversion gate section at the end of the minor loop is converted into a bubble by the conversion gate. The converted bubble is transferred on the major line and is passed to the bubble detector 1 at the end of the major line.
6 is detected and data is output.

A magnetic garnet film of 6111 m and 4 layers Ms: 183 G is used as a v ball, and a major line conductor is constructed by a zigzag puja pattern 3 made of two layers of gold with a width of 2 pm and a thickness of 0.5 pm in the film. Bubbles are transferred by applying high frequency currents with a phase shift of 90 degrees to these two layers of conductors. The conversion gate 2 is located at a position where a large number of striped domains 5, which are minor loops, are in contact with the major line transfer, and includes one hairpin-shaped conductor 10 for cutting the domains and three conductors for locally applying an in-plane magnetic field. It is composed of parallel conductors 11, and these two types of conductor patterns are arranged across the ends of all the minor loops 5 in a direction perpendicular to the minor loops 5.

ためには必要である。In the conversion gate, when a domain cutting operation is performed during a write operation, a read operation, and a domain cutting operation, a current is simultaneously applied to the loop-shaped conductor 1 to generate a magnetic field in the same direction as the bias magnetic field. The bubbles cut by this magnetic field are restrained from moving and can be stably positioned at a predetermined position. It is also possible to restrain and stably position the cut bubble by the current applied to the conductor by using the zigzag conductor 3 for transfer of the measure line, but the conductor 3 uses a high frequency current to transfer the bubble on the measure line. Because of this, an extra current application period must be provided to restrain the bubbles cut by the conversion gate operation, which makes high frequency transfer of the major line difficult, and in this case only on the conversion gate. However, since a magnetic field is generated to restrain the cut bubbles along the entire major line, this creates an effect that hinders bubble transfer on the major line. Therefore, it is extremely effective to provide a conductor for bubble transfer on the measure line and a magnetic field generation conductor using an independent conductor on the measure line that is in contact with the conversion gate, and to stabilize the bubble position at the conversion gate. This is necessary in order to realize a magnetic memory element with excellent operating characteristics.

That is, in order to improve the bubble cutting operation characteristics in the conversion gate, it is necessary to at least suppress deviation of the hepupule on the side opposite to the conversion gate.

It was something I could point to. That is, by forming a step 6 on the surface of the garnet film at the boundary portion on the opposite side of the conversion gate in the region in contact with the conversion gate 2 of the major line, the bubble 5 cut by the domain cutting operation of the conversion gate 2 is removed from the major line. This prevents it from jumping out from the line to the opposite side of the conversion gate. The bubbles generated by the conversion gate operation can be positioned on the major line with good controllability due to the step 6 formed on the surface of the garnet film (FIG. 2).

のを抑制している(第3図)。(Example 3) Similar to Example 2, in the cutting operation of the stripe domain edge in the conversion gate, the malfunction of the cut bubble is mainly due to the cut bubble passing through the major line,
The problem is that it jumps out to the opposite side of the conversion gate. In the third embodiment, in order to prevent the bubble 5 cut by the bubble cutting operation of the conversion gate 2 from passing the major line and flying out in the opposite direction to the conversion gate, the area of the major line in contact with the conversion gate 2 is converted. A bubble or stripe domain 7 is generated in advance near the boundary region on the opposite side of the gate, and the conversion gate 2 is repelled by magnetostatic interaction between the generated domain 7 and the bubble generated by the cutting operation of the conversion gate. The bubble 5 cut by the cutting operation is prevented from flying out to the side opposite to the conversion gate of the major line (FIG. 3).
