When a car travels at a relatively high constant speed on a road with good surface conditions, such as an expressway, a phenomenon in which the car body shakes continuously up and down or left and right (called a car shake) may occur. This is because the primary bending or torsional vibration of the chassis frame uses the tire, which rotates while traveling with a slight eccentricity, as an excitation source, and the chassis frame resonates with this.

The other end is rotatably connected to a bracket 5 fixed to the chassis frame 4, and this bracket 5 supports a link lever 6. A shock absorber 7 and a coil spring 8 are disposed between one bottom corner of the substantially triangular bracket 2 and the link lever 6, respectively. This coil spring 8 is composed of two coil springs 20 and 21, which will be described in detail below.
A tail cylinder 9 is disposed between the other bottom corner of the bracket 2 and the chassis frame 4 and is rotatably supported at both ends to tilt the cab 1. A shock absorber 12 and a coil spring 13 are provided between a floating bar 11 on which the rear bottom of the cab 1 is placed and an inverted U-shaped rear arch 10 fixed to the chassis frame 4 at both ends. are arranged respectively, and as a result, cab 1 is connected to chassis frame 4.
It will be suspended via a shock absorber and a coil spring. Then, when the tilting of the cab 1 is completed and the cab 1 returns to its original state and is placed on the floating bar 11, the cab 1 is fixed on the floating bar 11 by the cab block assembly 14. ing.

A substantially cylindrical convex recess 16 is formed at one bottom corner portion of the bracket 2 (on the left side in FIG. 2). And this recess 1
A substantially cylindrical convex piston 17 is fitted into the piston 6;
A spring seat is formed on the lower surface of this piston 17,
A shaft 18 projecting into the recess 16 is integrally formed on its upper surface. Note that a rack 19 is engraved on the shaft 18. And, between the spring seat 15 and the spring seat 22 formed on the bracket 2,
A linear coil spring 20 which is a main spring with a constant spring constant is arranged, and a spring seat 15 and a piston 1 inside the coil spring 20.
A non-linear coil spring 21, which is an auxiliary spring, has a constant coil diameter and a wire diameter that increases continuously from the ends toward the center. In other words, spring seat 1
5 is a common spring seat for one of both coil springs 20 and 21. As a result, the overall spring characteristics of both coil springs 20, 21 become nonlinear. In addition, a pinion 23 is installed at a preferable position on the bracket 2.
is rotatably supported, and this pinion 23 engages with the aforementioned rack 19 and is rotated and locked by a device (not shown) to move the piston 17 vertically.

A means for changing is configured.

The spring force of 0 changes linearly with the spring force at this initial deflection as a boundary. On the other hand, the coil spring 21
Since the spring characteristics of are nonlinear, its set length,
In other words, the variation in spring force due to deflection during running differs depending on the initial deflection. In the case of the spring characteristics as shown in Figure 3, the initial deflection is δ B more than δ A.
In this case, the load fluctuation due to deflection during subsequent running is larger, and the rate of load change is also different.

By changing the set length of 21, in other words, the initial deflection, the spring force of the cab 1 against the chassis frame 4 is set to be soft.

That is, the piston 17 is moved downward by the rotation of the pinion 23, and the set length of both coil springs 20, 21, in other words, the initial deflection of both coil springs 20, 21 is changed, and the cab 1 is moved relative to the chassis frame 4. Set the spring force to be stiff.

Due to the combination of the above, the overall spring characteristic becomes non-linear, and the spring characteristic can be freely set according to the driver's individual preference by rotating the pinion 23 and changing the initial deflection of the coil spring 21.
