Abstract

PURPOSE:To make compact the membrane switching device and reduce the manufacturing cost by sharing a substrate constituting the membrane switching device as a substrate for mounting electronic parts. CONSTITUTION:The upper side of a substrate 1 is equipped with a switch 6, and printed wirings 4 and 5 related to this switch 6 are provided on the upper and the lower sides of the substrate 1. Spacers 2 with a fixed wall thickness are laid one on top of another, and a rectangular penetrating hole 2a where constituent parts of the switch 6 are set within the wall thickness is formed in the direction of the thickness. Moreover, a penetrating hole is made in a place where the electronic parts of the substrate 1 are equipped. For example, in case a diode 8 is mounted, a conductive ring 7 is fitted in the penetrating hole to link wirings 4 and 5, and a lead wire 8a coming from the diode 8 is inserted into the ring 7. Constitutionally, the electronic parts are mounted directly on the membrane switching device formed as described above, so that another substrate where the electronic parts are to be mounted becomes unnecessary.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the membrane switch device with electronic components of the present invention has a spacer with a constant thickness superimposed on the top surface of a board on which printed wiring related to the contacts of a switch group is provided. In addition to drilling appropriate through holes in the thickness direction of the spacer and inserting the switch components, through holes of appropriate dimensions and diameters are drilled at appropriate locations on the board, and through these holes, the switch components are connected to the switch group. It is characterized in that various electronic components such as diodes and resistors are arranged on the lower surface of the substrate.

The spacer 2 has a constant wall thickness, and a large number of rectangular through holes 2a into which the components of the switch 6 are to be installed are formed in the thickness direction within the wall thickness. The components of the switch 6 in this example include ten contacts 6a, - contacts 6b, a click plate 6C, and a push plate 6d. The click plate 6C is made of an electrically conductive elastic thin plate and is designed to make a "click" sound when it is elastically deformed. The material of the spacer 2 is not particularly limited, but in this example, extruded foam polypropylene is used, which allows the spacer to be easily processed and is inexpensive.

Here, an example of mounting the above-mentioned electronic component on a membrane switch device will be described. That is, when mounting a diode, as shown in FIG. 3, pairs of through holes are formed in the thickness direction of the substrate 1 at the locations where the diodes are to be mounted, and each through hole is provided with a flange. The attached conductive ring 7 is fitted and connected to the printed wiring 4.5 as appropriate. After cutting the leads 8a of the diodes 8 to be mounted to appropriate lengths, each lead 8a is bent approximately 90 degrees, and then when the board 1 is alone, the diodes 8 are placed in a fixed position. The tip of each lead 8a is inserted into the conductive ring 7.7, the tip is aligned with the top surface of the substrate 1, and then the tip of the lead 8a and the conductive ring 7 are connected by soldering or the like. Note that the resistor can be installed in the same manner as the diode.

In addition, when mounting a light emitting diode (LED) 9, as shown in the figure, a through hole 1a with a slightly larger diameter in the thickness direction of the substrate 1 is formed, and a pair of conductive rings 7 similar to those described above are provided. . On the other hand, a space in the spacer 2 where the light emitting diode 9 is to be located needs to be a blank space, and for this reason, a through hole 2b in the thickness direction is formed in advance in the spacer 2 at that location.

After these operations, spacers 2 are superimposed on the upper surface of the substrate 1. In this case, since extruded foam-molded polypropylene is used as the spacer 2 in this example, the solder bulge P as shown in FIG. 3 does not cause any trouble during the electrical installation work. However, if the spacer 2 is made of another hard material, processing of the spacer 2 etc. will be required to deal with the solder bulge p.

(Effects of the Invention) The present invention as described above has a configuration in which electronic components are directly mounted on a membrane switch device in which a group of switches is arranged in a plane. This eliminates the need for supporting members to regulate the relative position with the device, simplifying the structure, and making the overall size (especially thickness) extremely compact, which can significantly reduce manufacturing costs. According to the invention of claim 2, in which the spacer is made of extruded foam molded polypropylene, the processing of the spacer itself and the superposition of the substrate and spacer can be performed extremely easily, and further cost reduction is possible. be.
