具に温度変化が生じた場合、例えば寒い室外から
暖かい部屋に移動してきて、しばらくしてから筆
記具を使用した場合、従来のキヤツプを取付けた
筆記具のなかにはボタ落ちが生じるものがあつ
た。しかし本考案のキヤツプを使用した筆記具で
はボタ落ちが生じなかつた。これは従来のキヤツ
プでは、キヤツプ内の空気が暖められて膨張し、
気密状態に保たれたキヤツプ内の空気はペン芯の
空気溝を通つてインキタンク内に侵入するので、
インキはインキタンク内での容積を減少し、減少
した分はペン芯のインキ溝にインキが流れ込む。
こうした状況下で筆記具を使用すると、手の温度
により今度はインキタンク内の空気が膨張しその
容積を増すので、インキは、すでにインキ溝はイ
