Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent attenuation of a speaker output level by supplying a power voltage to a transformer via a diode in a device having 2 systems or over of the drive circuits so as to cut off a loop by a parasitic diode of other drive circuit. CONSTITUTION:A drive circuit device 4 drives a speaker 1 and if a drive circuit device 3 is inactive, a loop from GND 6 to a power terminal 6 via parasitic diodes 13, 14 by the element separation structure of transistors 7, 8 is blocked by a diode 15. Thus, the device 3 in nonoperating state is hidden when viewing from the device 4 as a load and the speaker output level attenuation is prevented.

Although conventional speaker drive circuit devices are configured as described above, there is a problem in that when one drive circuit device is driven, the other drive circuit device acts as a load and the speaker output level is attenuated. That is, when the second drive circuit device 4 is driving the speaker l, the first drive circuit device 3 is in an inactive state, and its driving transistor 7.8 is in an off state. However, due to the parasitic diodes 13.14 of the circuit device 3, a loop is formed from the GND 6 to the power supply terminal 5 via the parasitic diodes 13.14, so that the first drive circuit device 4 There is a problem in that the circuit device 3 becomes a load and the speaker output level is attenuated.

Further, FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention. The first embodiment described above was an example of a differential drive circuit device in which each drive circuit device 3.4 differentially drives the transformer 2, but the drive circuit device of this embodiment is of a single-ended type. In this case, the power supply voltage is supplied to one end of the primary winding of the transformer, and in this case as well, the same effects as in the above embodiment are achieved.
