Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and to reduce the cost by forming tree- type wax patterns arranging unit wax pattern as radial and at plural steps around a runner. CONSTITUTION:The unit wax pattern 2 is constituted by connecting with plural product patterns 2A at both sides of the runner part 2B and a plate-like fitting part 2C having the prescribed thickness is integratedly formed at right angle to the runner part 2B at the tip of the runner part 2B. The runner part 2B of the unit wax pattern 2 is inserted in order into each slit 10A of an arbor 10 and assembled, and four unit wax patterns 2 are fitted to the arbor 10 as radial and at plural steps to constitute the tree-type wax pattern aggregate. This aggregate is charged into the wax pouring mold an molten wax is poured in the communicating space part surrounded with the fitting parts 20 in the inner part of the core 10. By this method, the tree-type wax pattern aggregate can de obtd. and the productivity is improved.

Therefore, wax is injected into a runner mold in which a plurality of wax models are inserted to form a tree-shaped wax model in which the runner and the plurality of wax models are integrated, and the tree-shaped wax model is used. So-called multi-cavity molding is carried out in which a plurality of molded products can be obtained at once. However, the placement of the wax model on the runner lock gate was restricted depending on the direction in which the runner mold was divided, and the number of stirrups was limited, although it could be said that there were many pieces.

[Structure of the Invention] Therefore, in the method for manufacturing a wax model in lost wax casting according to the present invention, a medium-sized wax model is placed in a cylindrical core material having a plurality of slits with at least one longitudinal end open. The proximal ends are sequentially inserted from the open end side of the slit and assembled while forming a communication space within the core material to form a tree-like wax model assembly in which a plurality of medium-sized wax models are attached radially around the core material. The tree-shaped wax model assembly is inserted into a wax injection mold, and molten wax is injected into the communication space within the core material and into the sprue cavity that communicates with this, and after the injected wax solidifies, the core material is is removed to obtain a tree-shaped wax model in which a plurality of unit wax models and sprues are integrally formed.

Next, this tree-shaped wax model assembly 5 is inserted into the wax injection mold 20, and the fitting part 2C inside the core metal 10 is inserted.
Molten wax is injected into the communication space 10B' surrounded by the space 10B'. (Arrow X in Figure 3) The wax injection mold 20 is a mold that is divided into upper and lower parts, and has a space 20A in which the tree-shaped wax model assembly 5 constructed in the previous step can be positioned and inserted. ,
A sprue cavity 20B is formed which communicates with a communication space 10B' in the core metal 10, and the communication space 10B' in the core metal 10 communicates with the outside. Incidentally, a hook 21 is inserted into the sprue cavity 20B for holding the completed tree-shaped wax model 1, which will be described later, in a subsequent process, and is connected together at the same time.
