平行に小径の計測管を設け、この計測管内で、ジ
ヤイロ、加速度計及び傾斜計を内蔵したジヤイロ
プローブを、上記管の軸方向に沿つて一定速度以
上で移動させ、このジヤイロ、加速度計及び傾斜
計により方位角、傾斜角、速度及びジヤイロプロ
ーブの走行距離を計る別設の距離計から得られる
走行距離を連続的に検出し、これらの検出データ
から別設の演算器を用いて上記ジヤイロプローブ
の移動軌跡を求め、この移動軌跡から上記トンネ
ル坑又は管路の位置を測定する方法において、上
記プローブの外周には適宜数の車輪を設け、プロ
ーブの一端にワイヤーを接続し、他端に信号線兼
用ワイヤーを接続し、トンネル坑又は管路の両端
に、これらのワイヤーを繰り出し又は巻き上げる
ウインチを設けたことを特徴とするウインチ駆動
式ジヤイロプローブ方式によるトンネル工法用位
