However, this type of roof structure using thin slate tiles,
Generally, due to the lack of building materials in the era, they were often constructed using slate tiles, which were relatively easy to obtain and inexpensive, and therefore, roof structures of buildings belonging to the old era were often constructed. Due to the fact that the building is in such a state of deterioration, it is necessary to take some measures to prevent rain leaks and improve its appearance.

On the other hand, asbestos fiber, a mineral-based natural fiber that has been commonly used as a building material due to its excellent properties, has recently been recognized as having good weather resistance. It was found that the fibers on the external surface exposed to the atmosphere deteriorated and became brittle due to aging, and even in their natural state they gradually peeled off and fell off, scattering into the air. It has been confirmed that airborne fiber dust exists, and when you breathe this airborne fiber dust constantly,
It has been pointed out that there is a risk of causing undesirable damage to human health, such as the risk of inducing harmful lung cancer, and this is becoming a serious social pollution problem, and it is important to dispose of it as soon as possible. desired, and
In this regard, asbestos was used as the main material, which was hardened with mortar cement and molded. The thin slate roof tiles used here were no exception, and it was desirable to replace them as early as possible.

Not only does it take a lot of effort to tear out the existing tiles, but on the other hand,
Since it is difficult to reroof the roof structure using the existing roof structure of the target building, another method is to leave the existing roof structure as it is without touching it, and then replace the roof structure on top of the existing roof structure. Measures are taken to install a new roof structure.

In other words, one way to install a new roof structure on top of the existing roof structure is to install wooden rafters (for example, wooden rafters that will form the roof of a building), as shown in Figure 4.
1) is used as a base, and the entire surface is covered with roof base material (field board) (
2), and on this roof base material (2), individual slate tiles (3) are laid in a series in a desired arrangement so that their ends overlap each other. In the existing roof structure (^), the metal rafters (4) that will serve as the base are reattached to the upper surface of the existing roof structure (^), and the roof base material (5) is installed by passing the frame appropriately. This is a structure in which a new metal roof board (6) is installed on top of the roof, with insulation materials installed as necessary, and another one is:
As shown in Figure 5, the metal rafters (4) described above
, a new metal roof plate (6) is directly roofed on top of the existing slate tiles (3) without providing a roof base material (5) or the like.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the case of the conventional reroofing method shown in FIG. 4 described above, a similar separate roof structure is newly installed in addition to the existing roof structure. In addition, the roof is completely double-layered, and its thickness is significantly thicker, making the building look unbalanced and unsightly. The construction itself is also relatively complicated and This is troublesome and time-consuming, and it also increases the weight of the entire roof structure, which may cause problems with the strength of the existing pillar members of the building that supports it.

Similarly, with the conventional reroofing method shown in FIG. 5 described above, even if the disadvantages of the configuration in FIG. Because the tiles have deteriorated to such an extent that the individual slate tiles are not normally lined up as neatly as they were when the roof was first installed, they have been exposed to wind, rain, cold and heat for a long period of time. In addition, as a result of being constantly exposed to slight vibrations and shocks, the roofing pattern may be misaligned or tilted, or the tiles themselves may be warped, and new roofing tiles may be installed directly on top of them. Newly installed metal roofing sheets often come loose from the slate facing, making them unable to function as a roof. This caused inconvenience.

As detailed above, according to the present invention, individual single roof tiles such as slate tiles are overlapped with each other by a predetermined overlap width at least at their ends to form a stepped end surface on a roof base material of a building. The roof structure has a roof structure made up of a series of roofs that are raised at a predetermined pitch in the direction of the eave, and a new horizontally scored roof structure is constructed by installing new horizontally scored roof sheets on top of the existing roof structure. In this case, an eave side molding part is formed on one side of the face plate part with a cross-sectional width corresponding to the pitch interval in the eave direction direction.

A ridge side molded part is formed on the other side, so that the eave side molded part can be fitted and engaged with the mutually adjacent ridge side molded part, and at least the eave side molded part is abutted. exterior,
And since the mounting is provided with a horizontally ruled roof plate with a horizontal crevice that separates the step interval corresponding to the thickness of the single roof tile between this abutting outer surface, it is difficult to install the single roof tile on the previous stage in the existing roof structure. By placing the face plate part of the front horizontal shingle roof plate on the surface of the roof tile and abutting its outer surface against the step end surface of the rear single roof tile, this rear single roof tile is constructed. It is possible to control the movement of the tiles in the direction of the eave ridge, and at the same time, along with this operation, the front side horizontal piece is positioned on the overlapping portion of each single roof tile on the rear side and the front side. By attaching the roof tile to the existing roof base material through the overlapping part with a fastener, it is possible to control the peeling effect of the individual roof tiles on the rear and front sides. Furthermore, in this state, the eave side molding part of the rear horizontal shingle that corresponds to the rear single roof tile is fitted and engaged with the ridge molding part of the front horizontal shingle roof tile. By repeating the operations sequentially, the horizontally ruled roof sheets of each corresponding level can be firmly and integrally connected directly to the surface of the single roof tile of each level, and the roof tiles can be roofed as desired. You get it.

In addition, since the new roof structure that is built on top of the existing roof structure in this way is essentially just covering the surface of the existing single roof tile with horizontally ruled roof sheets,
The thickness of the entire roof structure obtained is not only sufficiently thinner compared to the conventional double structure, but also each horizontally ruled roof board in each row corresponds to each single roof tile in each row, In addition, especially in the overlapping part of each single roof tile on the front side and the back side, the abutment regulation by the abutment outer surface of each horizontally ruled roof plate and the installation by fasteners at the part are fixed. Since these are used in combination with N at intervals of steps, there is no risk of damaging the external appearance, and there is no need for additional intervention such as metal rafters, making it extremely strong for both existing and new roof structures. It is now possible to integrate the roof into one piece, and the weight can be sufficiently reduced. At the same time, the roofing operation is easy and workability is greatly improved, and the overall structure is extremely simple and inexpensive. It has excellent features such as being able to be implemented in many ways.
