(Prior art) A simple movable belt conveyor is, for example,
The length is limited to around 10m, so in order to transport cargo over longer distances, they must be connected in tandem and transported continuously. If they do not match, a portion is superimposed in the vertical direction and transferred from the top to the bottom conveyor. However, in large areas such as collection areas and warehouses, conveyors are connected one after the other in a cascading manner so that they can be transported on the same surface, and this method is especially useful when transporting large items. It is taken. However, when the conveyors are cascaded in a two-dimensional manner as described above, the conveyors cannot be connected closely together, and some gaps must be provided. Therefore, at collection points, delivery points, etc. where packages of various sizes are mixed and handled, there is a risk that small or thin packages may fall into such gaps, leading to an accident. . Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4 as a schematic explanatory diagram, a roller 43 is disposed between the connecting portion of the belt conveyors 41 and 42.
I was trying to fill in the gaps.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, when the roller 43 is used between the connecting parts of the belt conveyor as described above and the load is sent in the direction of arrow B as shown in FIG. Since the receiving groove 45 was simply formed as a U-groove vertically from above, a large object such as the baggage 46 could pass through it without any problem, but a thin object such as the baggage 47 could get caught as shown in the figure. In such a case, since the receiving groove 45 is U-shaped, the roller 4
There was a problem in that the shaft of No. 3 was pressed against the U-groove and could not be removed, and the cargo 47 would get stuck therein and there was a risk of damage. Also, if the worker's hand is accidentally pulled in,
Similarly, there was the problem that the rollers would not come off and there was a risk of serious injury.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has a unique shape for the bearing grooves of the rollers arranged between the conveyor connections, so that the conveyance baggage is not caught in the conveyor, or the worker's hand is accidentally drawn in. In such cases, we have created an extremely simple and effective belt conveyor that allows the rollers to escape, preventing damage to the load and injury to workers, and also preventing the escaped rollers from falling off. The purpose is to provide safety equipment for

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above object, the present invention has a plurality of belt conveyors connected in series to transfer cargo. In a belt conveyor device provided with rollers, a rotary shaft supporting portion of the roller is formed as a receiving groove, and of both side surfaces forming the receiving groove, a stage widens at least in the middle of the side on the forward side in the traveling direction. The side surface from the lower bottom part where the shaft touches to the step part is formed as an inclined surface that gradually widens upward, and the side surface above the step part is formed as a side surface that sequentially widens upward or as a substantially vertical side surface. , the upper part of the receiving groove is open.

The member supporting the rollers may be attached to one or the other frame of the connected belt conveyor, or may be fixed to the floor as a separate structure. The distance between the belt conveyors is regulated by maintaining a predetermined distance between the belt conveyors by means of connecting members, or by directly fixing each conveyor to the floor surface. The conveyor belt may be made of rubber, steel, etc., and may be of an apron type.

(Function) According to the above-mentioned safety device of the present invention, in the event that a thin or small baggage or a worker's hand, etc. is caught in the conveyor connection part while being transferred, the rollers are pressed in the direction to release them. Therefore, the roller is lifted upward along the slope, and the interval between the pinches is gradually expanded, and when it is lifted a certain amount, a step is formed, so that the roller is placed in a state where it is further removed from the step. This makes it possible to safely remove trapped luggage, hands, etc. Furthermore, since the roller remains on the step, it will not fall off the conveyor. Furthermore, even if a similar situation occurs when the conveyor is reversed, if an inclined surface is also formed on the other side of the roller support groove, the rollers will not escape and cause trouble in this case as well.

(Example) Hereinafter, an example of the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. Fig. 1 is a front view of a connecting part of a belt conveyor equipped with an example of a safety device according to the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a view similar to that shown in Fig. 1. FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the safety device of the embodiment. FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the operation of the safety device of the embodiment of FIG. In FIG. 1, reference numerals 1 and 2 indicate belt conveyors connected and arranged in series, and the frame ends of both conveyors 1 and 2 are connected and fixed by a connecting plate 3 at a predetermined interval. One of the screwed portions of the connecting plate 3 is preferably formed into a U-groove for convenient separation of the conveyors 1 and 2. 4 is a drive belt wheel disposed at one end of the conveyor 1; 5 is a conveyor 2;
The end belt pulleys at opposite ends of the conveyors 1 and 2 are rubber belts 6 and 7, respectively, 8 and 9 are guide rollers, and 10 and 11 are support legs. 12
2 is a space roller, and as shown in more detail in FIG. 2, supporting members 13, 13 are fixedly disposed to project in the longitudinal direction from the frames on both sides of the conveyor.
is rotatably supported. The space roller 12 is mounted on a shaft 15 via a bearing 16, and flanges 15a are formed at both ends of the shaft 15. The protruding portion of the support member 13 is bent inward in the width direction of the conveyor and then extends in the protruding direction to form a support portion 17. A receiving groove 18 is formed in the support portion 17. There is. The groove 18 has an inclined surface 20, which is inclined with each side opening at an angle of about 30 degrees, so that both sides of the groove 18 sequentially open upward relative to the lower bottom 19 on which the shaft 15 contacts.
21, and the inclined surfaces 20, 21 are formed at a portion slightly higher than the supported shaft 15, for example, the shaft diameter of the shaft 15 from the lower bottom portion 19 and further 1/4 of the shaft diameter.
In the portions with the additional dimensions, substantially horizontal step portions 22 and 23 are formed that are slightly upwardly inclined. The stepped portion 2
The depth dimension of 2 and 23 is, for example, slightly longer than the shaft diameter, and from the end portions of the step portions 22 and 23, surfaces 24 and 25 are formed that are substantially the same as the slopes 20 and 21 or perpendicular to the slopes 20 and 21. are doing. The height dimension of the inclined surfaces or vertical surfaces 24 and 25 may be approximately the same as the above-mentioned shaft diameter. Although it is not always necessary to provide the stepped portion 23 or the surface 25 on the rear side in the direction of movement of the conveyor, it is preferable to provide it if the conveyor is to be transferred in a reverse direction.

With the above configuration, when a load is being sent from the conveyor 1 to the direction of the conveyor 2 (in the direction of arrow A), for example, a thin load 31 may be damaged due to some reason at the end of the conveyor 1, as shown in FIG. If the load 31 is pulled downward along the rubber belt 6 and gets caught, the roller 12 will be pushed forward in the traveling direction due to the thickness of the load 31. At this time, the shaft 15 of the roller 12 is inserted into the receiving groove 18.
, the shaft 15 is pushed upward along the inclined surface 20.
As a result, the shaft 155 is placed on the stepped portion 22, the rollers 12 are separated from the end of the conveyor 1 as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3, and the baggage 31 is freed from the pinched state. Furthermore, the roller 12 remains on the stepped portion 22 and does not jump out or fall off. Therefore, the baggage 3 that was caught
After the roller 12 has been taken out and transferred normally, the roller 12 is reset to its original position (solid line position in Figure 3), and normal operation will resume from then on. It operates in exactly the same way even if your hand or the like gets caught during work. In addition, under normal operating conditions, if the top of the roller 12 is flush with the upper surface of the conveyor belts 6 and 7, the roller 12 will always come into contact with the transported load, especially if kicked by the tip of the load. In this case, it easily escapes from the bottom of the groove to the stepped portion. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 1, it is preferable that the top of the space roller 12 be placed lower than the upper surface of the rubber belts 6, 7 of the conveyor by an appropriate dimension a. The dimension a may be about 1 to 3 cm.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, the present invention forms the receiving groove that supports the rotating shaft of the roller with an upwardly expanding inclined surface, and also forms a step part that expands in the middle part so that the upper part of the receiving groove is open. Because the belt conveyor is in operation, even if a package or a worker's hand gets caught in the cascaded gap, the space rollers installed in the gap will prevent the problem from happening. Due to the pressing force caused by the pinching, the baggage is relatively easily pushed out from the normal lower bottom position of the receiving groove through the upwardly expanding inclined surface and moved upward, so that the cargo can be easily removed without stopping the conveyor. etc., and since the retracted rollers are received by the stepped portion without falling off, they can be restored to their original positions after removing obstacles, and can be put into operation immediately.
