In general, buildings these days tend to become increasingly taller as shown in Figure 1, and as a result, countermeasures against building vibrations have become a major issue.
As one of the countermeasures, a mass damper as shown in Fig. 2 was considered. In this mass damper, a movable mass 4 is attached to a vibrating body 1 via a spring 2 and an actuator 3, and a control force proportional to the vibration speed of the vibrating body 1 is applied from the actuator 3 to the movable mass 4.
The movable mass 4 is moved back and forth to damp the vibration of the vibrating body 1, and its operation is expressed by the following equation of motion.

Mss+CsXs+KsXs+Kd(Xs−Xd)=Fex−Fc

As mentioned above, in the conventional vibration control device, the vibrating body 1
A control force Fc = C n X〓 s (C n is a gain constant) proportional to the vibration speed However, since vibrations in high-rise buildings are caused by strong winds and earthquakes, and do not necessarily vibrate all the time, they are constantly supplying wasted electricity.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the vibration control device of this invention, in which 3 is an actuator fixed to a vibrating body 1 such as a high-rise building, a movable core 5 and a fixed core 6.
A movable mass 4 is fixed to the tip of this movable core 5. This movable mass 4 is connected to the vibrating body 1 by a spring 2, and is configured to reciprocate in accordance with the reciprocating motion of the movable core 5.
7 is a wind pressure gauge installed outdoors of the vibrating body 1;
9 is an accelerometer that detects the vibration of the vibrating body 1, and 9 is a controller that receives and amplifies the above-mentioned signals and issues a command to the actuator 3.

In the vibration control device of this invention having the above configuration, when a strong wind occurs, the wind pressure gauge 7 installed outdoors on the vibrating body 1 senses the wind pressure and sends a signal to the controller 9. After the signal is determined by the level determiner 91, if it is above a certain level, the control circuit changeover switch 92 is turned on, so that the vibration acceleration of the vibrating body 1 detected by the accelerometer 8 is transferred to The signal is sent to the actuator 3 via the power amplifier 94. In the actuator 3, a control force proportional to the vibration speed is generated between the movable mass 4 and the vibrating body 1, and the movable mass 4
The vibration of the vibrating body 1 is attenuated because the vibration of the vibrating body 1 is caused to vibrate in a direction that stops the vibration of the vibrating body 1. Furthermore, the changeover switch 92 is configured to turn off when the wind pressure signal above a certain level is interrupted for a certain period of time, so power is not supplied to the control circuit system when there is no vibration.

In the above example, the changeover switch 92 was turned on by the wind pressure signal from the wind pressure gauge 7, but it is also possible to detect the P wave of an earthquake and turn on the changeover switch 92 accordingly to deal with the S wave vibration that arrives afterwards. I can do it. Furthermore, in the event of an earthquake or the like that exceeds the control range and poses a risk of harm to the device, it is possible to turn off the control circuit and stop the movement of the movable mass 4.

As described above, the vibration control device according to this invention senses in advance the external force that causes the vibration of the vibrating body 1 when vibration occurs, prepares for the vibration by setting it in a controllable state, and when there is no vibration, the control circuit Turn off the power
This has the effect of reducing power consumption, and in the event of a large external force that exceeds the control range, the signal is sensed in advance and the control device is stopped.
It also has the effect of preventing damage to equipment.
