Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent thermal deformation of a helmet or the like to be accommodated in an object accommodating part provided above the center of a motorcycle body by forming the sheath of the object accommodating part in a structure radiating the heat, and thereby suppressing internal temp. rise of the object accommodating part. CONSTITUTION:A motorcycle is equipped with an object accommodating part 4 for larger baggages, etc. An object accommodating chamber 6 for helmet 3, battery, etc., is partitioned in the inside of this object accommodating part 4, and at the oversurface of this chamber 6 a cover 8 is installed through a hinge 11 in such a way as possible to be opened and closed freely. A recess 12 stretching fore and aft is formed in the oversurface of this cover 8. An air passage cover 14 having at the undersurface a leg 13 stretching fore and aft is fixed in this recess 12. Air passage 11 having air ports 15, 16 at the two ends is formed bounded by the undersurface of the air passage cover 14 and the oversurface of the cover 8. This permits flow of natural wind in the air passage 11 so as to cool the object accommodating part 4.
