Conventionally, in order to obtain an ornament with this kind of three-dimensional structure, as shown in Fig. 1, a sealed mold 1 having an inner surface that matches the external shape of the ornament to be obtained is prepared, and the cavity of the mold is sealed. After pouring thermosetting synthetic resin liquid 6 into 2 and curing it, the mold was demolded to produce a product.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention aims to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional methods for producing decorative articles and to provide a method for easily producing inexpensive, highly decorative three-dimensional structural ornaments. That is, the present invention places a first flexible mold on a receiving plate, pours a thermosetting synthetic resin liquid onto the first flexible mold,
After placing a second flexible mold on top of the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid, the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid is semi-gelled to form a semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin, and then the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid is semi-gelled. Manufacture of a three-dimensional structural ornament by separating a thermosetting synthetic resin from a receiving plate together with a first flexible mold and a second flexible mold, placing it on a shaping mold, shaping it, and then hardening it. It concerns the method. The method for manufacturing a three-dimensional decorative article according to the present invention will be explained in more detail below.

The first flexible mold used in the present invention includes flexible molds such as polyester film, polyvinyl fluoride film, polyvinyl chloride film, polyethylene film, polypropylene film, and films obtained by screen-printing appropriate designs on these films. These flexible molds can be used with a smooth surface, or they can be mechanically wrinkled to form a large number of irregular and disorderly uneven surfaces, or with an embossing roll, etc. It may also be used as a surface with irregularities.

When a film with a screen-printed design is used and this film is peeled off from a cured thermosetting synthetic resin, the screen-printed design is transferred to the thermosetting synthetic resin and can be configured as a decorative element. This first flexible mold is placed on a receiving plate such as a glass plate, and then a thermosetting synthetic resin liquid is poured onto the first flexible mold. As the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid used here, unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, epoxy acrylate resin, etc. can be used. A curing accelerator, catalyst, pigment, dye, etc. are added to these thermosetting synthetic resin liquids as necessary. Here, when pouring the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid onto the first flexible mold, in order to increase the strength of the decorative product, use a glass fiber material such as glass cloth, nylon, vinylon, tetron, etc. It is also possible to embed a synthetic fiber reinforcing material such as a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric in a thermosetting synthetic resin liquid. In addition, in order to provide decorative variations to the decorative item, the decorative body may be embedded alone or in combination with the reinforcing material in a thermosetting synthetic resin liquid containing natural and/or artificial decorative bodies. .

Next, a second flexible mold similar to the first flexible mold is placed on top of the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid, and then the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid is semi-gelled at room temperature or by heating. It is made into a semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin.

Next, a semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin (thermosetting synthetic resin in a state where fluidity is almost gone, but is not completely cured and has flexibility) is placed in a first flexible mold. The second flexible mold is removed from the receiver together with the second flexible mold, and all or part of it is placed on a previously prepared shaping mold and allowed to fit naturally into the shaping mold by its own weight, or by appropriate pressing means. Press it into a shaping mold and shape it.

Next, the semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin formed while being sandwiched between the first flexible mold and the second flexible mold is placed on the forming mold at room temperature or heated. After completely curing or semi-curing to a state where the shape does not collapse even when removed from the mold, the mold is removed from the shaping mold, heated and completely cured, and the first flexible mold and the second flexible mold are formed. It can be peeled off from the cured thermosetting synthetic resin or left attached to the product.

As is clear from the above, the method for manufacturing a three-dimensional structural ornament of the present invention allows thermosetting synthetic resin to be poured in a flat state that is easy to work with, and also allows the thermosetting synthetic resin to be poured into a semi-gelled state when the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid is semi-gelled. By utilizing the non-flowability and flexibility of thermosetting synthetic resin and the flexibility provided on both sides, it can be placed on a shaping mold having a desired shape and shaped. This makes it extremely easy to operate and improves work efficiency.

It is spread out and placed, and the part placed on the mold 10 is pressed to conform to the shape of the mold 10, and the lower part 11 not in contact with the mold 10 is left hanging naturally. Next, after being allowed to stand at room temperature for about 10 to 30 minutes, the lower part 11 of the semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin 9 is cut at irregular locations to give the desired shape.

When the mold does not lose its shape even when removed, the semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin 9 is pulled out from the mold 10 while being sandwiched between the first polyester film 5 and the second polyester film 8. After removing the mold and placing it in a heated oven to completely cure, the first polyester film 5 and the second polyester film 8 are peeled off from the cured thermosetting synthetic resin to obtain a molded product. A decorative item was obtained by drilling a hole for a lighting fixture connection tool in the upper part of the molded product. The obtained ornaments could be used in lampshades to produce excellent decorative effects.

As shown in FIG. 3, the used shaping mold 10 first cuts a plywood board 12 into a desired shape,
A protrusion 14 is provided at the top of the plywood board 12, a polystyrene foam block 15 is inserted onto the protrusion 14, and electricity is applied to generate heat by hanging from a fixed point 16 at the upper part of the polystyrene foam block 15. The polystyrene foam block 15 is cut by moving the nichrome wire 17 along the side edge 18 of the plywood board 12 under tension, and the upper surface of the cut polystyrene foam block 15 is then rubbed with sandpaper to create a roughly spherical gently curved surface. It was completed as.

Example 2 As shown in Fig. 4, a cylindrical mold 1 was cut out from a polystyrene foam block as a shaping mold.
A first polyester film 5 manufactured under the same conditions as Example 1 was applied to the outer surface of the mold 10 using
Then, the semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin 9 sandwiched between the second polyester film 8 is wound around the semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin 9, and the joint portion 19 on the circumference of the semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin 9 is slightly removed. After overlapping the polyester films 5, a thermosetting synthetic resin liquid 6 having the same composition as that used in Example 1 was poured into the joint portion 19, and the top was sealed with the outermost second polyester film 8. Perform the joining process. And the thermosetting synthetic resin liquid 6 of the joint part 19
After gelation has progressed, the ends of the semi-gelled thermosetting synthetic resin 9 in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder are trimmed, and when the mold is ready to be removed, it is removed from the cylindrical mold 10 and processed. Thoroughly harden in a warm oven, and
A molded product is obtained by peeling the polyester film 5 and the second polyester film 8 from the cured thermosetting synthetic resin, and an unsaturated polyester having a smooth bottom surface at one opening of the cylindrical molded product is obtained. A decorative article was obtained by pasting the resin plate 20 with an adhesive. The obtained ornament was used as a flower vase and was tasteful.
