Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an uneven edge from occurrence in a coil by arranging the side guide of a hot rolled steel tape between a pinch roll and the mandrel of a take-up machine. CONSTITUTION:Aprons 10a, 10b limit the upper and lower movements of the steel strip S and prevent the tip of the steel tape from colliding with a deflecting roll 7, etc. The side guide 11 has a U-shaped section and is so constituted that it can freely go in and out from the outsides of the aprons 10a, 10b to the width direction of the steel tape S and the opening can be controlled. 【発明の詳細な説明】 〈産業上の利用分野〉 本発明は、鋼帯の熱間圧延ラインにおいて、熱延鋼帯コ
イルのエッジ不揃を防止することができる熱延鋼帯の巻
取設備に関するものである.く従来の技術〉 熱間圧延において圧延された熱延鋼IF(以下鋼帯と呼
ぶ)は、第4図に示すように、仕上圧延機1を出た後、
ホットランテーブル上を走行して、サイドガイド2、ピ
ンチロール3を経てダウンコイラ4においてコイル状に
巻き取られる.ここで、上記サイドガイド2の動作タイ
ミングは、鋼帯Sの先端がダウンコイラ4のマンドレル
に巻き付いたときのモータ5のロードリレー信号により
、例えば鋼帯Sの幅に若干の余裕代をもたせて左右同時
に締めつけるようにするのが一般的である. ところで、ダウンコイラ4において巻取られるコイルの
エッジを揃えることは、そのハンドリング時にコイルエ
ッジのIR傷を防止する上できわめて重要であり、例え
ば特開昭63−40615号公報に開示されているよう
なコイル巻き姿の制御方法が従案されている. その内容は、サイドガイドの上流に設置されたキャンバ
検出器により鋼帯Sの先端の曲り方向を検出し、その検
出信号に基づき曲り方向のサイドガイドを単独で閉とし
、次いで銅帯の先端がコイラマンドレルに巻き付いた検
出信号により他方のサイドガイドを閉とするようにした
制御方法であス また、実開昭62−46111号公報には、巻取機のマ
ンドレルとマンドレルガイドの間の空間の両側に、マン
ドレルの軸方向に移動可能なサイドガイドを設けたマン
ドレルサイドガイドが提案されている.〈発明が解決し
ようとする課題〉 しかしながら、上記の特開昭63−40615号公報の
方法は、ダウンコイラによってmeを巻取る際の′B帯
の先端の曲りに起因するコイル幅方向への飛び出しを防
止することを目的としてなされたものであって、定常的
な巻取り時に発生するコイル全長のエッジの不揃いを防
市することができないのである. 従って、コイルエッジを揃えるための工程を追加する必
要があるので、製品の納期が延びるという問題があり、
また、コイルのハンドリング中にエッジ部をtR傷させ
る恐れがあり、エッジの不揃部を切捨て処理するために
発生する歩留り低下が避けられないなどの問題がある. また、実開昭62−46111号公報の装置は、銅帯の
先端に曲りが発生しやすく、マンドレルサイドガイドヘ
鋼帯の先端を確実に案内する工夫をしないと、実施が穫
めて難しい.このまま実施する場合には、予めマンドレ
ルサイドガイドを調帯の幅に対して充分な余裕代をもた
せてセットしておく必要があり、巻き姿の向上、エッジ
の不揃いを防止することができない.更に本装置は鋼帯
の最先端近傍のみにしか適用できない欠点があり、巻取
り完了後のコイルをマンドレルから抜取る際の障害にな
る問題もある. 本発明は、これらの問題を解消した巻取設備を提供する
ことを目的とする. く課題を解決するための手段〉 本発明者らは、熱延鋼帯のコイルのエッジ不揃いの発生
n横を詳細に11査解析した結果、コイルエッジ部の不
揃いは巻取機内での銅帯の拘束条件と密接に関連してお
り、拘束条件を高め、マンドレル上のll帯の動作可能
量を小さくすれば、コイルエッジ部を揃えることができ
るという事実を見出し、この拘束条件を高めるための有
効な手段として、マンドレルの巻取点の直前で鋼帯をガ
イドすることがより効果的であることを知見し、本発明
を完成させるに至った. 即ち、本発明は、熱間圧延機の出側にピンチロール、巻
取機を設置した熱延鋼帯の巻取設備において、前記ピン
チロールと巻取機のマンドレルの間に、熱延鋼帯のサイ
ドガイドを配置したものである. 〈作 用〉 ピンチロールと巻取機のマンドレルの間に銅帯のサイド
ガイドを配置し、銅帯を拘束することにより、マンドレ
ル上の巻取点における鋼帯の幅方向移動の自由度を大幅
に低下させることができ、コイルのエッジ不揃いの発生
を防止することができる. く実施例〉 本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する.第1図は、
本発明の巻取設備の一実施例の全体構成図であり、この
実施例は、サイドガイド1lを巻取機のマンドレル4の
直前まで延設した例である. また、第2図は、サイドガイド11’をデフレクターロ
ール7の手前に設けた別の実施例について、サイドガイ
ド11’を詳細に説明した図である.第1図において、
Sは鋼帯、2はピンチロール3a,3bの前に設置した

ーロール、8a,eb,9cは巻取機のラッパーロール

、鋼帯Sの上下方向の動きを制限し、かつ鋼帯Sの先端
がデフレクターロール7等に衝突するのを防止するため
のものである. エプロン10a,lObは、従来の設備では鋼帯Sの全
板幅にわたって設けられていたが、これらの実施例では
、第2図に示したように、鋼帯Sの幅方向中央部のみに
設けてある. 第1図のサイドガイド1l及び第2図のサイドガイド1
1’は断面をコの字型の形状とし、エプロン10a、1
0bの外側から銅帯Sの仮幅方向に出入自在に構成して
、その間度調整を行うようにしてあサイドガイド11,
 11’の開度は鋼帯Sの幅に対する余裕代が少ないほ
ど良く、例えば鋼帯Sの実測幅に基づいて、スクリュー
タイプ或いは油圧タイプの開度鯛整機構(図示せず)に
よって開度稠整を行えばよい. 次に、本発明の具体的な実施結果を説明する.第1図に
示した本発明の実施例の設備により、板幅900〜12
00関、板幅2.3〜3.2 mの銅帯を巻取った場合
のコイルエッジ不揃発生量を、従来装置による場合と比
較して第3図に示す.従来装i111Aはピンチロール
の手前にサイドガイドのみを設けた装置であり、従来装
置Bは特開昭63−40615号公報の装置である.第
3図から分かるように、従来装置Bは従来装置Aをかな
り改善したが、それでも、巻取先端部で±20M,定常
部で±51Il程度のエッジ不揃いの発生を余儀なくさ
れていたが、本発明の設備によれば、これを先端部±4
wm、定常部±2wmのレベルまで改善することができ
た. 従来装IBによるエッジ不揃いのために、不揃部切捨て
により歩留り低下が発生したコイルは50コイル/10
00コイルであったが、本発明の設備によれば、これを
2コイル/1000コイル以下に抑えることができた. 〈発明の効果〉 以上説明したように、本発明の巻取設備は、巻取り開始
部及び定常部のエッジ不揃いを大幅に改善することがで
き、従来装置のようにコイルをマンドレルから抜取る際
の障害の問題もなく極めて優れた効果を奏する.

Furthermore, the device disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-46111 is prone to bending at the tip of the copper strip, and is difficult to implement unless a device is devised to reliably guide the tip of the steel strip to the mandrel side guide. If this is to be carried out as is, it is necessary to set the mandrel side guide in advance with sufficient margin for the width of the belt, and it is not possible to improve the winding appearance or prevent uneven edges.
