Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove molten slag of the interior of a small dia. steel pipe by blowing compressed air against welding slag to cool it quickly and crushing the slag by a hammer moving vertically to blow it off by the compressed air. CONSTITUTION:The compressed air is blown against the high-temperature molten slag on a weld bead from a compressed air nozzle 2 to cool the slag. When a solenoid valve 6 for driving an air cylinder is then excited, the compressed air is sent to the air cylinder 7 and the hammer 10 drops, and strikes and crushes the slag. When the solenoid valve 6 is made in the unexcited state, the compressed air is exhausted and a hammer guide plate 11 to operate integrally with the hammer 10 is pulled up above by restoring force of a spring 9 to pull up the hammer 10. The hammering is performed by repeating this operation. Lastly, the compressed air is blown against the slag crushed by the hammering from the compressed air nozzle 12 to blow off the slag on the bead so that it does not remain there. 業中断以前の溶接ビードの終端にラップして溶接をする
必要があるが、このためには溶接ビードに付着している
溶融スラグを除去しなければならない。

のスラグの除去作業を手順を追って説明すると、溶接ビ
ード上の高温溶融スラグに圧縮空気ノズル2から圧縮空
気を吹き付けて、スラグを冷却する1次にスラグ破砕装
置4により、スラグを破砕する。スラグを破砕するため
のハンマリング機構はつぎのようになっている。エアー
シリンダー駆動用電磁弁6が励磁されると、エアーシリ
ンダー7に圧縮空気が送られ、ハンマー10が下降しス
ラグを叩いて破砕する。エアーシリンダー駆動用電磁弁
6が無励磁の状態になると、圧縮空気が排気され、ハン
マー10と一体となって作動するハンマーガイド板11
を上方へ引き上げるように装備しであるスプリング9の
回復力によりハンマーは引き上げられる。このような操
作を繰り返し交互に行なうことによりハンマリングでき
る。このハンマリングのハンマリングサイクルは、最高
2回/秒まで自由に調整ができるようになっている。最
後にハンマリングにより破砕されたスラグに、圧縮空気
ノズル12から圧縮空気を吹き付はビード上にスラグが
残留しないように吹き飛ばす。
