[Conventional technology] Conventionally, mechanical devices for square stitching include:
There are industrial sewing machines with special configurations, which are used industrially to fasten the hems of pants, skirts, etc., and to fasten the collars of obihiro. When hemming is done using a home sewing machine, a method is adopted in which the fabric to be sewn is folded inward and overlapped in advance so that the cut end is not exposed, and then the overlapping part is fastened with a serpentine stitch. It's here.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] Although the above-mentioned special device for square stitching is widely used industrially, it is relatively expensive and requires a large-scale device configuration. When applying the sewing technique to a home sewing machine, there is a drawback that the structure of the sewing machine is complicated. In addition, when sewing with a home sewing machine, it is necessary to fold the cut edge as described above, and the presence of an overlapped part due to this folding makes it difficult to sew the hem. There are disadvantages such as the thread sewn on the part is exposed on the surface of the fabric and the sewn part is clearly visible.

The purpose of the present invention is, firstly, to eliminate the drawbacks of the above-mentioned conventional examples, and to make it possible to sew with a home sewing machine. The second feature is that the sewing process can be performed without leaving any stitch marks on the sewn part.
To provide a metal fitting to be attached to a home sewing machine, which makes it possible to perform zigzag stitching and simultaneously perform end-stopping of cut ends.

That is, the presser foot, which is fixed to the presser bar of the sewing machine main body via a swingable presser foot support shaft, is divided into two parts by a crack along the feeding direction of the fabric to be sewn, and the top part is curved upward, and the part is separated by the crack. a needle hole that extends to the extreme end of the crack, and a step that shifts the pressing surface of the presser foot up and down is formed on an extension line from the extreme end of the crack, and the leading end of the presser foot is located at a position corresponding to the lower pressing surface. An arc-shaped guiding claw is formed on the part so that the lower edge thereof extends to the lower pressing surface position, and the guide claw is suspended from the edge of the crack, and the step is formed on the upper pressing surface side. A feed roller that rotates around a support shaft vertically disposed in the direction of the feed roller and has a circumferential surface extending up to the upper presser surface is connected to the presser foot via the presser foot support shaft so as to be able to elastically move upward. shall be.

The guide claw of the presser foot presses the single-layer portion at its lower edge against the cloth to be sewn in this state, and also touches the bent end of the sewn portion laterally, and the lower presser foot presses against the single-layer portion at its lower edge. The upper pressing surface is in pressing contact with the three-layer portion.

When the sewing machine is operated in this state, the fabric to be sewn is fed out backwards, but the curved shape of each head allows the fabric to be fed into the presser foot surface of the presser foot without any obstruction. Further, in combination with the stepped structure of the presser surface, the guide claws maintain the multilayered structure of the part to be sewn by lateral contact. At the same time, the rotating feed roller exerts a linear feeding action on the fabric to be sewn while pressing the triple-layered surface portion of the fabric to be sewn with its side circumferential surface, which is compatible with the effect of the guiding claw. As a result, a sewing position suitable for rake stitching can be stably secured, and it is also possible to feed the stitched portion of the fabric to be sewn.

Furthermore, when zigzag stitching is applied, an end stop configuration can be obtained for the cut end at the same time as the above-described rake stitching.

This metal fitting 1 has a presser foot 2, and this presser foot 2
is shown in FIG. 3, and its presser surface is formed into a lower presser surface 3a and an upper presser surface 3b by a step 4 along the feed direction of the cloth to be sewn, and the presser surface is formed by a lower presser surface 3a and an upper presser surface 3b. On the extension line, there is a crack part 5 cut in the top part, and this splits it into two, forming a top part 5a corresponding to the lower pressing surface 3a and a leading part 5b corresponding to the upper pressing surface 3b. These front parts 5a
and 5b are curved with their tips facing upwards, and the tips of the top portions 5b are made shorter so as not to obstruct supporting fingers during sewing work. Further, one end of the step 4 and the crack 5 intersect with the edge of the oval needle hole 7 at a position biased to the left. In addition, in the center of the needle hole 7 surface, a thin presser claw 8 is supported on the front head 5a side and extends perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction thereof.

By disposing it on the throat plate 31 surface. Next, when the presser foot 2 is moved downward by lever operation, the lower presser foot surface 3a touches the fabric to be sewn 61.
The upper presser surface 3b is pressed onto the three-layered portion, and the lowermost portion of the side circumferential surface 26 of the feed roller 25 is pressed onto the three-layered portion. Further, at this time, the lower peripheral edge of the guiding claw 6 is pressed against the surface of the first layer part, and the side surface located near the lower peripheral edge is in a state of being in lateral contact with the cloth to be sewn 61b. Further, the fabric portion near the cut end 61a is separated by the presser claws 8 and 33.
It is in a state where it is held between the two.

In this sewing process, the cloth to be sewn 61 is attached to the throat plate 3.
It is sent rearward by a feeder working in elongated holes 34, 35 on top of 1. Further, at this time, the feed roller 25, unlike the above-mentioned feeder, is constantly on the cloth to be sewn 61 and assists the above-mentioned feeding operation by its rotation, and also maintains the feeding direction linearly. In addition to the action of the feed roller 25, the guide pawl 6 functions to prevent the rightward movement of the sewn portion 61b and to secure the scoop stitched portion by the sewing needle 45.

In this way, the sewn portion is attached to the cut end 61.
Since it is formed at a position shifted from a, the sewing mark does not appear on the outside. Also, when sewing the square stitch,
If zigzag stitching is used, the cut end 61
It is possible to simultaneously secure the ends of a.

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] (1) The presser foot, which is fixed to the presser bar of the sewing machine body via a swingable presser foot support shaft, is divided into two parts by a crack along the feeding direction of the fabric to be sewn. The presser foot has a leading end curved upward and a needle hole that reaches the end of the crack, and a step that shifts the pressing surface of the presser foot up and down is formed on an extension line from the end of the crack. An arc-shaped guiding claw is formed on the leading end at a position corresponding to the lower pressing surface, and is suspended from the edge of the crack so that its lower edge reaches the position of the lower pressing surface. ,
Further, a feed roller that rotates about a spindle perpendicular to the step direction on the side of the upper presser surface mentioned above and whose circumferential surface reaches the position of the upper presser surface is elastically displaceable in the upper part of the presser foot. A metal fitting for screw stitching for a household sewing machine, characterized in that it is connected to the presser foot via a support shaft. (2) When the needle hole is formed long in a direction perpendicular to the crack, and the end of the crack extends over an edge of the needle hole that is biased toward the upper pressing surface. Scope of Claims for Utility Model Registration No. 1
Metal fittings for home sewing machines described in Section 1. (3) A bobbin tube having the same rotating core is fixed on the side end surface of the feed roller, and one end of the feed yarn provided around the bobbin tube is wound onto a rotating bobbin on the sewing machine main body.
