Conventional Structure and Problems Generally, in a conventional wick type liquid fuel combustion device having a combustion tube, such as an oil combustor, the wick 1 is guided upward and downward as shown in Fig. 4. The combustion tube 4 was placed directly on the upper end receiving portions of the outer core tube 2 and the inner core tube 3. Therefore, during combustion, the receiving parts 2a and 3a of the outer core cylinder 2 and the inner core cylinder 3, on which the combustion cylinder 4 is mounted, are directly exposed to the combustion chamber.
Effect of flame holding 6 attached to air hole 5 of combustion tube 4 during combustion,
The temperature is high due to heat conduction from high temperature parts. (During steady combustion, the receiving parts 2a, 3
a is 200 to 240°C. ) Therefore, in the event of a disaster or when the combustor falls over due to an accidental shock, the wick 1 is lowered at the same time as the combustor falls down, and the fire is extinguished immediately.
Since wicks a and 3a are at high temperatures, the residual petroleum gas and the oil contained in the wick 1 that was scattered when the wick 1 was lowered are affected by the temperature and air and remain there for a while even after falling. Because the fire burned near parts 2a and 3a, it took a long time to extinguish the fire in the event of a fall (approximately 30 seconds). For this reason, odor,
In addition to generating soot, the risk of fire was extremely high.

Structure of the invention In order to achieve this object, the invention provides a hollow convex part outward in at least a part of the wick sliding surface of the wick outer cylinder, and places this convex part above the tip of the wick at the extinguishing position. By positioning the core outer cylinder in the circumferential direction and providing a ventilation section such as a small hole that vents almost vertically on the upper surface of the convex part, the liquid fuel combustion device can be extinguished quickly in the event of a fall. This is something that can be provided.

In the above configuration, liquid fuel is sucked up from the lamp wick 1, vaporized, and burned in the combustion tube 4 together with air flowing in from the air hole 5. Here, the effects of this embodiment will be explained in detail in comparison with the conventional example, as well as the flow of fuel F and air A when the liquid fuel combustion apparatus falls over.

FIG. 5 shows a partial sectional view of a conventional liquid fuel combustion device when it falls over. Conventionally, when the lamp wick 1 falls, the lamp wick 1 is lowered and the fire is quickly extinguished, but the fuel F contained in the lamp wick 1
The fuel is scattered due to the impact or the like and flows out into the receiving part 2a of the outer core cylinder 2, or the fuel F in the tank flows down the side surface of the outer core cylinder 2 and flows into the receiving part 2a. Further, sufficient residual fuel gas was present near the receiving portions 2a and 3a. And the radiation of the flame holding 6, the combustion tube 4
In the receiving part 2a, which is at a high temperature due to the influence of heat conduction from was. (It took about 30 seconds.) As a result, not only did it generate odor and soot, but there was also a very high risk of flames.

However, as shown in FIG. 6, in the liquid fuel combustion apparatus according to this embodiment, the core outer cylinder 2
By providing a convex portion 7 on the sliding surface of the lamp wick 1 and providing a small hole 8 for vertical ventilation on the upper surface of the convex portion 7, in the event of a fall, the shock at that time and the descent of the lamp wick 1 will be prevented. The fuel F contained in the lamp wick 1 that has been scattered by the operation or the like and the fuel F in the tank that has flowed down the side of the wick outer tube 2 flows into the convex portion 7.
Almost no water flows into the receiving portion 2a, which is at a high temperature. Therefore, when falling, the fuel F at the receiving part 2a is
does not burn for a long time. At this time, air A
However, due to the effect of the draft, the convex portion 7 is drawn from the small hole 8.
It flows into the receiving parts 2a, 3a through the. As a result, the receiving parts 2a and 3a are cooled by the air flow A and have an excess of air, so that they are out of the combustion range, and almost no combustion occurs. Furthermore, in the case of steady combustion, as shown in Fig. 7, the gap between the wick 1 and the wick outer tube 2 is small, so it is difficult for the air A to flow in, and the air A due to the draft effect.
However, it does not flow into the combustion chamber through the small hole 8 between the lamp wick 1 and the wick outer tube 2, and there is no problem in combustion. This means that during steady combustion,
Since the small hole 8 is located on the upper surface of the convex portion 7, the direction of air flow from the small hole 8 to between the lamp wick 1 and the wick outer cylinder 2 is as follows.
This is because the direction is opposite to the direction of the draft action inside the combustion chamber.

In this way, there is no negative effect during steady combustion, and the extinguishing time in the event of a fall can be significantly shortened (within approximately 10 seconds). This also reduces the generation of odors, soot, etc., and reduces the risk of fire. It has become very small.

Effects of the invention The liquid fuel combustion device of the invention consists of a lamp wick, an outer wick tube and an inner wick tube that guide the wick upward and downward, and a combustion chamber provided above these outer wick tube and inner wick tube. By providing a convex portion outwardly on at least a portion of the wick sliding surface of the wick outer tube, and providing a ventilation portion such as a small hole on the upper surface of the convex portion, it is possible to prevent harmful effects during steady combustion. The fire extinguishing time in the event of a liquid fuel combustion device falling over can be significantly shortened without causing any damage, and the generation of odors, soot, etc. when it falls over is also reduced, making it extremely safe with very little risk of fire. It can provide a liquid fuel combustion device with high
This has a great practical effect.
