The present invention relates to copy-preventing printed matter, and more particularly to printed matter that cannot be copied by electrophotographic copying machines such as xerography and electrofax. In recent years, electrophotographic copying machines such as xerography and electrofaxing have made remarkable progress, and anyone can now easily make large quantities of copies from books and documents. Along with this, situations are frequently occurring in which the rights of authors are not protected, and there is a demand for printed matter that cannot be copied with the above-mentioned type of copying machine. In copying machines using electrophotography such as xerography and electrofax, the temperature of the surface of the object to be copied (original document) increases due to the heat released during exposure at the beginning of the copying process. This surface temperature varies depending on the model of the copying machine, the environmental temperature in which it is placed, and the initial and continuous use, but it has been confirmed that it reaches a minimum of approximately 30°C, and reaches approximately 40°C after continuous use. . Although the present invention has the appearance of a normal printed matter at temperatures below about 30°C, when copying this printed matter with an electrophotographic copying machine such as xerography or electrofax, the The printed image is discolored by the heat dissipated during exposure in the process, and no copy is produced even after the subsequent copying process, and the original printed image is reproduced again when left to cool. . The printed matter of the present invention exhibits a discoloration point of approximately 30°C on a sheet substrate such as paper, synthetic paper, or plastic film, and is colored at temperatures below the discoloration point, but becomes substantially colored at temperatures exceeding the discoloration point. A printed image is produced using an ink in which a colorant made of a reversible thermochromic material that becomes colorless is dispersed in a vehicle, or a colorant in which the colorant is encapsulated in microcapsules by a well-known encapsulation method is dispersed in a vehicle. It becomes carried. The vehicle used is a vehicle applicable to applicable printing methods such as gravure printing, flexographic printing, offset printing, and screen printing. As such a type of printing ink, a printing ink using a reversible thermochromic material as a coloring agent (Japanese Patent Publication No. 7764/1983) previously proposed by the present applicant is suitably used. However, as mentioned above, it is of course limited to those that satisfy the condition of having a discoloration point of about 30° C. and being colored at a temperature below the discoloration point and becoming colorless at a temperature exceeding the discoloration point. A specific example will be explained below. The coloring agent was an epoxy resin-walled microcapsule with a particle size of 1 to 5 μm, which contained a homogeneous molten composition consisting of 1 part by weight of leuco dye, 1 part by weight of bisphenol A, and 10 parts by weight of myristic acid. The color of this coloring agent differs depending on the type of leuco dye as shown below, but it has a color change point of 28℃, and at temperatures below the color change point, it becomes colored, and at temperatures above the color change point, it becomes virtually invisible. becomes colorless.

[Table] Sentences consisting of 8 and 9 point characters were gravure printed on high quality paper using an ink obtained by dispersing 20 parts by weight of the above colorant in 70 parts by weight of an aqueous gravure printing ink vehicle. This printed material is kept at room temperature (20~
(25℃), it is no different from printed matter printed with ordinary non-color-changing ink, and can be read without any practical problems.
FT6300R, Xerox 2300) could not be copied regardless of the color of the print, demonstrating the copy prevention function. In the following example, microcapsules of epoxy resin wall with a particle size of 2 to 8 μm containing a homogeneous molten composition consisting of 1 part by weight of leuco dye A, 2 parts by weight of octyl p-oxybenzoate, and 10 parts by weight of myristyl alcohol are used as a coloring agent. And so. This colorant exhibits a color change point of 30° C.; it turns black at temperatures below the color change point, and becomes substantially colorless at temperatures above the color change point. Add 20 parts by weight of this colorant to an aqueous screen printing ink vehicle.
A cross-sectional view of the writing instrument was printed on high-quality paper using a screen plate using the ink obtained by dispersing it in 80 parts by weight. At room temperature (20 to 25 degrees Celsius), this printed matter looks no different from ordinary printed matter and poses no problem in practical use, but it is
