[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an improvement of a yarn-wound paper tube.

Generally, when yarn is directly wound around a paper tube by high-speed spinning, the yarn is directly and continuously supplied from the spinning process, so when automatically switching from a full paper tube to an empty paper tube, the winding starts temporarily. When the yarn becomes loose, the yarn end falls off from the empty paper tube, and the yarn may not be captured quickly and reliably, resulting in poor yarn take-up. For this reason, it is required that the success rate of threading be almost perfect.

If the yarn fails to be captured during this switching, the yarn is fed at a higher speed than the previous process, resulting in a large amount of lost yarn until it is threaded onto the empty paper tube, which is extremely uneconomical. It is.

For this reason, conventionally, in yarn-wound paper tubes, opening grooves 2 in the circumferential direction have been carved near the end of the paper tube main body 1, as shown in FIG. 1, in order to improve the thread catching rate. In addition, a paper tube is used in which a close contact groove 3 is carved on the extension of the opening groove 2.

That is, as shown in FIG. 2, the open groove 2 has a shoulder portion of the groove formed into a large curved surface to facilitate guiding the yarn, and the close groove 3 has a shoulder portion of the groove as shown in FIG. By reducing the curved surface and increasing the close contact area,
A thread is introduced into the tight groove 3 and caught and fixed, and the thread from the full paper tube is cut and the end of the thread is wound around the empty paper tube.

However, since a straight cutting blade with a sharp cutting edge was used to process the opening groove 2, which is the yarn introduction groove, and the close groove 3, which is the yarn catching groove, a straight cutting blade with a sharp cutting edge was used. A slight gap was created, and when capturing a fine denier yarn, there was a drawback that the yarn could not be completely captured due to the directionality of movement.

In order to eliminate these conventional drawbacks, the present invention divides the close groove part into two sections, and has a trapping function that completely traps even fine denier yarns, regardless of the direction of yarn movement. The present invention provides a yarn-wound paper tube which is improved in quality.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In Fig. 4, 1 is a paper tube main body, and an opening groove 2 is carved in the vicinity of the outer peripheral surface of the end thereof, and an extension of the opening groove 2 is formed. A close contact groove 3 is carved, and further, the close contact groove 3 is
A part of the opposing close contact surface is a roughened close contact groove 4.

The above opening groove 2 and close grooves 3 and 4 are connected to the paper tube main body 1.
6 and 7, the opening groove 2 is machined with the cutting edge a, and the close grooves 3 and 4 are formed with the cutting edge b 1 and b, respectively. Machining is done in part b 2 , that is, cutting blade a and cutting blade b 1 have straight and smooth cutting edges, but the cutting edge of cutting blade b 2 has minute serrated irregularities. Therefore, when the groove is formed in this part, the paper fibers on the groove surface are coarsely scattered as shown in FIG. 5, making it easier to catch the yarn.

In addition, when capturing and gripping a yarn, the behavior of the yarn may move freely in the circumferential direction, radial direction, or other directions due to various causes, so in any case, it is necessary to ensure that the yarn is captured and gripped reliably. The shape and length of each of the open groove 2 and close contact grooves 3 and 4 of the present invention, and the front and rear positions of the grooves can be appropriately selected depending on the conditions of use.

As described above, the present invention has at least one set of opening grooves 2 of an appropriate length on the outer peripheral surface near the end of the paper tube main body 1, and a close contact groove 3 in the circumferential direction on an extension of the opening grooves 2. Since this relates to a thread-wound paper tube, a part of the close-contact groove 3 has a close-contact groove 4 formed on the rough surface by cutting with a serrated blade, When switching the yarn from the tube to the empty paper tube, even if the yarn introduced to the opposite surface of the close groove 4 is a fine denier yarn, the close groove 4 whose opposite surface is formed with a rough surface The yarn end can be strongly pinched and captured reliably, improving the yarn hooking and catching rate, reducing yarn take-up defects, and contributing to improved productivity. The cutter for this purpose requires only slight modification of the cutting edge, does not require any changes to the equipment, and has the advantage of being economical.
