Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated veneer having modern external appearance due to uneven design, the external appearance of which are different from one another, by a method wherein a flitch, the major component of which is wood chip and which consists of a plurality of layers having the external appearance different from one another, is produced by making a block of wood chips, to which adhesive is applied and, after that, which are compression-formed, and finally sliced in order to produce a laminated veneer. CONSTITUTION:In a flitch 1, a plurality of layers 1a, 1b..., which are different in color from one another, are produced by making a block of wood chips, to which adhesive is applied and, after that, which are compression-formed. Concretely, colors, in which wood chips of layers 1a, 1b... are dyed, are made to be different from the another. By slicing said flitch 1 along the line (a), a laminated veneer 2 having plural uneven color tone is produced.

[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a laminated veneer, which is formed by pressing and forming wood thin pieces into blocks using an adhesive as a binder, and slicing the block-formed flitches. [Prior Art 1] In recent years, with the diversification of building materials, there has been a demand for materials with a highly novel appearance. Especially recently, the warmth, gentleness, and natural feel of wood are becoming more and more popular. Without losing the characteristics of this wood. There is also a need for decorative wood materials that have an appearance that can be adapted to modern living spaces. The first candidate is a laminated veneer, which is formed by pressing and molding thin pieces of wood using adhesive as a binder to form blocks into seven rifts, and then splicing these flitches. [Problem to be solved by the invention] In the production of this laminated veneer, 79 pieces were conventionally formed using wood thin pieces of the same composition, so all the laminated veneers obtained by slicing had the same (uniform) design. There was only one. The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and it is an object of the present invention to produce a laminated veneer with a non-uniform design and a more modern appearance. We are here to provide you with a method. [Means for Solving the Problem] In order to achieve the above object, the method for manufacturing a laminated veneer of the present invention includes:
A flitch whose main component is wood flakes, which are formed by pressure-molding and forming blocks of wood flakes coated with adhesive, is formed into multiple layers with different appearances, and this flitch is sliced to form a laminated veneer. It is characterized by this. The present invention will be explained in detail below. The flitch 1 is formed by applying adhesive to a thin piece of wood and forming it into a block by compression molding. In one example of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of layers 1 at different colors are formed.
It is formed from i b... That is, multiple layers 1
A, 1, b... are dyed in different colors. This flitch 1 is sliced in the direction of the line indicated by the symbol A in FIG. 2(a), and a laminated veneer 2 having a plurality of non-uniform color tones is formed as shown in FIG. 2(b). FIGS. 3 and 4 show other examples. In this case as well, the flitch 1 is formed in a plurality of layers 1a, lb... with different appearances.0 layers 1a, 1e, 1et 1
g is formed from a wood thin piece 3 that has been dyed as necessary;
The layers 1 b, 1 d, and 1 f are made of a material different from that of the wood lamina 3, such as thin veneer, nonwoven fabric, paper, or plastic. A veneer assembly 2 is formed by slicing this flitch 1 along the line indicated by the reference numeral in FIG. At this time, if the flitch 1 is pressed with a flat mold, it is shown in Fig. 4 (
When a straight-grain laminated veneer 2 as shown in , ) is obtained, and a flitch 1 is formed by pressing with a corrugated or gate-convex type, the flitch 1 is formed as shown in Fig. 4(b).
A laminated veneer 2 with grains as shown in is formed. At this time, by changing the shape of the mold, it is possible to form a product with an unprecedented and novel design including traces, geometric patterns, etc. The laminated veneer 2 formed in this way has layers i b, i d
Although the wood has wood grain in ir, the parts other than the wood grain have the appearance of laminated wood flakes 3, and an unprecedented laminated veneer 2 can be obtained. FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b) show another example. In this case as well, there are a plurality of layers 1a, Ib... with different appearances, and each layer 1 at
1b... The sizes of the wood thin pieces 3 are different. When this flitch 1 is sliced along the line indicated by the symbol in FIG. 5(a), as shown in FIG. 5(b), there are two parts, one having a small-sized wood flake 3a and the other having an intermediate-sized wood flake 3b. and a large piece of wood 3
A laminated veneer 2 is formed in which portions having c are non-uniformly present. At this time, in addition to varying the size of the wood slices 3, by dyeing them in different colors, the color tone also changes, making it possible to obtain a laminated veneer 2 with an even more novel design. [Function] Change the color of the wood flakes 3 in each layer 11t 1 b..., or change the color of the wood flakes 3 in the layers 1 at 1 c, 16t 1 g.
and wood flakes 3 and layers of different materials 1 b, 1 d, 1
A flitch 1 consisting of a plurality of layers 1 at 1 b... with different appearances is formed by laminating the layers 1 at 1 b... or by changing the size of the wood flakes 3 in each layer 1 a, 1 b... By slicing the flitch 1, a laminated veneer 2 with a non-uniform design can be formed.

A flitch was formed by interposing the flitch between 1 g and pressing. This flitch was sliced along the line indicated by the symbol in FIG. 3 to obtain a laminated veneer. In addition, once a flitch is formed by pressing, a laminated veneer having a straight-grain or board-grained wood grain can be obtained by finally forming it with a flat mold, an uneven mold, or the like. In addition, although the laminated veneer formed in this way has the straight-grained and board-grained wood grains of ordinary wood, the parts other than the wood grain are expressed with thin wood slices, creating an innovative design that has never been seen before. A laminated veneer having the following properties was obtained. Dog 11” - The tree species is Subruce and the length is 3.0~7゜0 am.
