Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はプリンタ装置に関し、特にプリントヘッドキャ
ップ調整機構に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種のプリンタ装置のプリントヘッドギャップ
調整機構は、ギ、ヤリッジを支持する２木のシャフトの
うちプラテンから遠い側のシャフトを偏心シャフトとし
、この偏心シャフトを回転させることにより、他方のシ
ャツ１−を中心にキャリッジを回転運動させ、プリント
ヘッドギャップな調整していた。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来のプリンタ装置のプリントヘッドギャップ
調整機構は、キャリッジを支持するシャフトとキャリッ
ジ間の方タ、摩擦、粘性、抵抗等により、プリントヘッ
ドギャップの精度が低下するという欠点があった。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明のプリントヘッドギャップ調整機構は、プリント
ヘッドに対して前後方向に平行移動可能にフレーム上に
保持されたシャフトと、該シャフトを移動させるピエゾ
式リニアアクチュエータと、該ピエゾ式リニアアクチュ
エータをプリントヘッドギャップが適切な値になる様に
駆動する駆動回路とを有している。
〔実施例〕　　　　　　　１′・、 次に、本発明の一実施例について図面を参照して説明す
る。
第１図は、本発明の一実施例の斜視図である。
シャフト］は、フレーム２上にプリントヘッド３に対し
て前後方向に平行移動可能な様にカイト４によって支持
される。シャフト１とガイド４との間にピエゾ式リニア
アクチュエータ５が取り付けられる。
駆動回路６は、プリンタ装置本体のコントロール部より
の制御信号に従い、ピエゾ式リニアアクチュエータ５を
プリントヘッドギャップが適切になるように駆動する。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように、本発明は、プリントヘッドをピエ
ゾ式リニアアクチュエータで直接移動させることにより
、ガタ、摩擦、粘性抵抗等の影響を受けず高い精度でプ
リントヘッドキャップを調整することができるという効
果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. プリントヘッドに対し前後方向に平行移動可能にフレー
    ム上に保持されたシャフトと、該シャフトに係合するピ
    エゾ式リニアアクチュエータと、該ピエゾ式リニアアク
    チュエータを駆動してプリントヘッドギャップを調整す
    る駆動回路とを有するプリントヘッドギャップ調整機構
    。
