[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a reservoir for storing hydraulic oil used in, for example, a power steering device.

Generally, this type of reservoir is attached to an automobile engine through a bracket, so this vibration is transmitted, and especially when the engine rotates at high speed, the vibration causes the surface of the hydraulic oil stored in the reservoir to ripple, causing the surface of the oil to ripple. As shown in FIG. 1, the oil particles turn into fine oil droplets and spray upward toward the lower surface of the cap 15. This cap 15 is formed with an air passage 25 through which air enters and exits as the oil level moves up and down, and these oil droplets flow out of the reservoir 10 through the air passage 25, causing oil leakage.

For this reason, in conventional reservoirs, the opening 14
A splash cover 20 having a dish shape and having a through hole 21 in the center is provided on the lower side of the upper lid 12, and the inner peripheral edge of the through hole of this cover 20 is close to the cap 15. The oil droplets that travel along the lower surface of the cap 20 and collect on the inner periphery of the through hole erupt onto the lower surface of the cap 15 again due to the vibrations of the reservoir 10 transmitted from the engine, and travel from the lower surface of the cap through the air passage 25 to the reservoir 1.
It was not possible to completely prevent oil leakage.

The present invention was devised in order to eliminate such conventional problems, and its purpose is to bend the inner peripheral edge of the through hole downward to prevent oil droplets from spouting toward the cap. The goal is to reliably prevent oil leaks.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. In FIG. 2, 10 is a reservoir, and this reservoir 10 is composed of a bottomed cylindrical reservoir body 11, and an upper lid 12 that is bent and joined to the upper part of this reservoir body 11 via a sealing member 13. An opening 14 formed in the opening 14 is closed with a cap 15. This cap 15 includes an outer cap member 16 and an inner cap member 17.
A rubber gasket 18 is attached to the peripheral edge of the inner cap member 17, and a level gauge 19 is attached to the lower surface of the center. Furthermore, a splash cover 20 is attached within the reservoir 10 below the opening 14, that is, on the lower surface of the upper lid 12. This splash cover 20 is dish-shaped, and has a through hole 21 formed in its center, and a cylindrical bent portion that gradually increases in diameter toward the bottom of the reservoir 10 at the inner peripheral edge of the through hole 21. 22 is formed.

As described above, the reservoir 10 of the present invention has a bent portion 22 at the inner peripheral edge of the through hole of the splash cover 20.
Because of this structure, even if the oil surface ripples and adheres to the bottom surface of the splash cover 20, these oil droplets will flow from the bottom surface of the cover 20 through the bent portion 22 and fall onto the oil surface again. . Since this bent portion 22 has a shape that gradually becomes larger in diameter toward the bottom of the reservoir 10, oil does not travel along the inner peripheral surface of the bent portion and move to the upper surface of the splash cover.
Moreover, since the lower end of the bent portion 22 is located at a considerable distance from the cap 15, even if the reservoir 10 vibrates, there is no risk of oil droplets jumping to the cap 15 side, which has the advantage of reliably preventing oil leakage. have
