るのを防止するものである。3は水切り片で垂直
片1の下端縁を外方に折り曲げると共に突出し、
その先端を内方に屈曲して突起部4を形成したも
のである。この水切り片3は外装材(図示せず)
の下端縁を載置し、外装材に衝突した雨水を下方
へ流すのに役立つものである。なお、水切り片3
の傾斜θ1は0゜〜60゜位までの範囲内が好ましい。こ
れは0゜以下にすると水溜りができ、60゜以上にす
ると目地幅が大きくなりすぎるためである。ま
