Abstract

PURPOSE:To securely mount a master plate, electrode plate and mounting jigs by means of a lock screw by inserting the jig for mounting the master plate and the electrode plate to the cathode in an electrocasting device tank and providing a diagonally cut slope to this mounting jig. CONSTITUTION:A conductive film 9 of Ni is deposited by sputtering to about 800Angstrom on the master plate 7 and the electrode plate 8 is brought into contact with the surface of the film 9. The mounting jig 2 is inserted through the central holes of the master plate 7 and the electrode plate 8 to the cathode 5. The diagonally cut slope 1 is provided to this mounting jig and the lock screw 4 consisting of a peak material having an insulating characteristic and strength is screwed from the side face of the cathode 5 coated with an insulator 6 in the part in contact with an electrocasting liquid in such a manner that the screw comes into contact perpendicularly with the slope 1 of the jig 2. The master plate 7, the electrode 8 and the mounting jig 2 are thereby securely fixed to the cathode 2, by which the generation of pits, pinholes is prevented and the yield is improved.

When manufacturing a stamper using the conventional electroforming jig shown in FIG. 3, as shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. Ingredients 2
', the master 7 and the electrode plate 8 were fixed by screwing to the cathode 5 whose part that comes into contact with the electroforming liquid was covered with the insulator 6, so when they were fixed, the electrode plate 8 and the nickel conductive film 9 came into contact. The surfaces of the contact portions 12 rub against each other, becoming a source of metal abrasion particles, and these foreign particles very often cause pits and pinholes in the stamper 11.Furthermore, the tightening of the mounting jig 2' If the adjustment is too strong, the nickel conductive film 9 will be damaged by the electrode plate 8,
The nickel electroformed film 10 cannot be electrodeposited on the nickel conductive film 9, and the yield decreases.

Next, a fixing screw 4 made of a peak material having insulating properties and strength is brought into contact with the inclined surface 1 of the mounting jig 2 at right angles from the side surface of the cathode 5 whose part that contacts the electroforming liquid is covered with an insulator 6. By screwing it in as shown, the master disc 7. Even if the electrode plate 8 and mounting jig 2 are electroformed for a long time, they will not loosen at all.
It was able to be firmly fixed to the cathode 5.

The electroforming jig of the present invention can be firmly fixed to the master, the electrode plate, and the cathode of the mounting jig by screwing in the fixing screw from the side of the cathode at right angles to the inclined surface of the mounting jig. The mounting jig will not come off during casting, and the nickel electroformed film can be electrodeposited in the same way as when screwed together. Since metal abrasion particles are no longer generated due to the rubbing of the plate and nickel conductive film, pits and pinholes caused by metal abrasion particles can be prevented, and furthermore, the nickel conductive film does not break due to the electrode plate. This has the effect of improving yield.
