。At this time, a torsion force acts between the steering shafts 13a and 13b, and the torque sensor 12 outputs a signal corresponding to the torsion. Based on this output value, the direction detection circuit 2
6 is determined, and the drive amplifier 25 instructs the rotation direction of the motor. On the other hand, according to the output value of the torque sensor 12, a comparison circuit 28 compares the output value so that it matches the target value determined by the target torque calculation circuit 27, and outputs a signal to the drive amplifier 25 so that the difference disappears. . As a result, the two command signals change the auxiliary force of the motor 11, ultimately reducing the steering force.

By correcting the voltage command signal to a larger value and, conversely, if the acceleration signal is small, correcting the motor applied voltage command signal to a smaller value, it is possible to reduce system response delay caused by motor start-up delay during sudden steering, etc. It is possible to solve the system oscillation phenomenon at low speeds and greatly improve the steering characteristics.

In order to calculate the difference between this calculated value 27a and the steering torque 12a currently felt by the driver, the comparison circuit 2
8, the values of 27a and 12a are input, and as a result, the motor applied voltage command value 28a is determined. On the other hand, when the driver similarly performs steering, the acceleration sensor 16 detects the acceleration that causes the steering wheel 14 to rotate. According to this output value 16a, the motor applied voltage command value 28
a is corrected by the voltage correction circuit 29, and the value 29a is input to the drive amplifier 25, and control is performed so that the signal output from the torque sensor 12 quickly matches the target torque.

A command value in which the motor applied voltage command is increased by ΔT'' or ΔT' is applied to the motor 11 relative to the motor applied voltage command in the case of .This improves the motor start-up characteristics and eliminates system delays. Therefore, it is possible to obtain good operability that matches the distance between drivers.
