Description
The present invention relates to the transportation of objects, and in particular to an object clamping device that can improve the stability of clamping.
In the field of machining, clamping and transporting an object using a jig is a common method. A known jig has at least two fixed clamp blocks that can move relatively close to or apart from each other, and uses air, hydraulic, electricity, or other means as a power source to drive and move the clamp blocks. This allows for the effective control of clamping and releasing an object to be achieved, which not only brings convenience to machining operations, but also contributes to improving machining efficiency and helps to realize automation.
A tool is known that uses an air pressure means to drive and move two clamp blocks. The two clamp blocks can stably and linearly reciprocate along a guide rail. However, due to the difference in the air pressure that each clamp block receives, the two clamp blocks are prone to become out of sync when they approach or move away from each other, which is detrimental to the clamping or releasing of an article. In addition, a motor is used as a means for driving and moving the clamp blocks. When a gear is rotated by the motor, the rotating gear engages with two racks to move them in parallel, and the racks are fixed to the clamp blocks, achieving the goal of moving the two clamp blocks synchronously. However, in the above-mentioned method in which the racks are arranged relative to the gears, the space of the device is easily taken up, and the meshing portion between the gears and the racks may have large backlash or be damaged due to the long-term biting action, which may cause the clamping to become unstable.
In view of this, the object of the present invention is to provide an object clamping device that can improve the stability of the clamping.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an object clamping device including a base frame, a guide rail, two slide tables, an interlocking structure, and a driving means. The base frame includes a base plate and two end plates attached to the base plate and spaced apart from each other, a guide rail extends between the two end plates, the two slide tables are non-rotatably connected to the guide rail and are movable along the guide rail, the interlocking structure includes a shaft and an interlocking plate, the shaft is attached to the base plate, the interlocking plate is attached to the shaft and swings around the shaft, interlocking parts are provided at both ends of the interlocking plate, and the interlocking parts are connected to the corresponding slide tables, and the driving means moves the two slide tables relatively, and either pulls the interlocking plate by the moving slide table to swing it, or swings the interlocking plate to cause relative movement between the two slide tables.
The advantage of the present invention is that by linking the two slide tables with a swingable linking member, the two slide tables can be moved relatively close to or away from each other in a stable and synchronized manner.
In order to more clearly explain the present invention, preferred embodiments will be given below and described in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in Figs. 1 to 7, an object clamping device 100 according to one preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a base frame 10, two slide tables 20, a guide rail 30, a driving means 40, and an interlocking structure 50. In this embodiment, the driving means 40 uses compressed air to control the two slide tables 20 to move relatively close to or apart along the guide rail 30, and the two slide tables 20 are capable of swinging an interlocking plate 51 of the interlocking structure 50 when moving relatively.
The base frame 10 of this embodiment includes a base plate 11, an intermediate base 12 attached to the base plate 11, and two end plates. For convenience of explanation, the two end plates are defined as a first end plate 13 and a second end plate 14, respectively. The first end plate 13 and the second end plate 14 are spaced apart, and the intermediate base 12 is located between the first end plate 13 and the second end plate 14. As shown in FIG. 3, the base plate 11 is provided with a perforation 11a, and the intermediate base 12 has a slot 12a and a through hole 12b at the bottom. The slot 12a extends horizontally, and the through hole 12b is vertically provided corresponding to the perforation 11a and communicates with the slot 12a.
The two slide bases 20 are non-rotatably connected to the guide rail 30. In this embodiment, the structure for realizing the non-rotatability includes three circular holes 22 provided in each slide base 20 and three circular holes 12c also provided in the intermediate base 12, and the guide rail 30 is composed of three cylindrical guide rods 32, which individually pass through the circular holes 22 and 12c, and the guide rods 32 are fixed to the first end plate 13 and the second end plate 14 at both ends, respectively, and extend in parallel between the first end plate 13 and the second end plate 14. As described above, the slide bases 20 are non-rotatably connected to the guide rail 30, and one slide base 20 is provided between the first end plate 13 and the intermediate base 12, and the other slide base 20 is provided between the second end plate 14 and the intermediate base 12. Each slide base 20 also has a mounting hole 24, and these circular holes 22 are distributed around the mounting hole 24.
2 and 6, the driving means 40 includes two cylinder tubes 41, two piston rods 42, and two pistons 43. The two cylinder tubes 41 each include a cylindrical body 411 and a front end cover 412 and a rear end cover 413 attached to both ends of the cylindrical body 411. The front end cover 412 has an opening 412a, and one end of each of the two piston rods 42 is fixed to the first end plate 13 and the second end plate 14, respectively. The other end of each of the two piston rods 42 is attached to one of the pistons 43 after passing through the opening 412a of the corresponding cylinder tube 41. That is, the piston 43 is located inside the cylinder tube 41. After the two cylinder tubes 41 are set in the corresponding mounting holes 24 of the slide table 20, the end plate 44 is fastened to the slide table 20, whereby the cylinder tube 41 is restrained within the mounting hole 24, and the cylinder tube 41 and the slide table 20 are integrated together, that is, the cylinder tube 41 and the slide table 20 can move together. In addition, since there are two slide tables 20, the driving means 40 further includes two sets of independent airways designed to communicate with an air pressure source (not shown), and the two sets of airways are each for controlling the reciprocating movement of one of the slide tables 20. It should be noted that each set of airways is composed of a first airway G1 and a second airway G2, and the first airway G1 and the second airway G2 each have two ports, which are defined as a first port G11 (G21) and a second port G12 (G22). In this embodiment, the first airway G1 and the second airway G2 in one set of airways are formed by air holes formed inside the first end plate 13, the piston rod 42 and the piston 43, which are communicated with each other. The first airway G1 and the second airway G2 in the other set of airways are formed by communicating air holes formed inside the second end plate 14, the piston rod 42, and the piston 43, and the first port G11 of the first airway G1 and the first port G21 of the second airway G2 are located on the corresponding end plates and are each communicated with the air pressure source via a joint 45, one of the second port G12 of the first airway G1 and the second port G22 of the second airway G2 is located on the corresponding piston rod 42 and the other is located on the corresponding piston 43, and the second port G12 (G22) is communicated with the internal space of the corresponding cylinder tube 41. Since the piston rod 42 and the piston 43 are fixed and do not move, and the piston 43 is located inside the cylinder tube 41, when the air pressure source uses the first airway G1 for air injection and the second airway G2 for air exhaust, the two slide tables 20 are pushed so as to be displaced, and conversely, when the direction of air injection and exhaust is changed, the two slide tables 20 are moved in the opposite direction. In this way, the purpose of moving the two slide tables 20 relatively close to or apart along the guide rail 30 is achieved.
The interlocking structure 50 further includes a shaft 52, which is attached to the base plate 11, and the interlocking plate 51 is attached to the shaft 52 and swings around the shaft 52. An interlocking portion is provided at each end of the interlocking plate 51, which is connected to the corresponding slide table 20. In this embodiment, a part of the shaft 52 extends into the perforation 11a of the base plate 11, and the other part is drilled into the through hole 12b of the intermediate table 12 and passes through the interlocking plate 51 set in the groove hole 12a. The interlocking plate 51 is approximately S-shaped, and both ends are located outside the intermediate table 12 and are pivotally attached to the traction plate 53, and the other end of the traction plate 53 is further pivotally attached to a fixed point on the bottom of the corresponding slide table 20 via a pin 54. The interlocking portion is formed by the traction plate 53. As a result, when the two slide bases 20 approach or move away from each other, the interlocking plate 51 is pulled, allowing synchronous oscillation in the forward and reverse directions to occur.
The device 100 uses a pneumatic system as a means for driving and moving the slide bases 20, and by attaching a clamp block (not shown) to each slide base 20, the purpose of clamping or releasing an object can be realized. As shown in Figures 8 and 9, the device 100 is provided with an interlocking structure 50 consisting of an interlocking plate 51, a shaft 52, a traction plate 53, and a pin 54 between the two slide bases 20. When the two slide bases 20 start to move and the moving speed of one slide base 20 is faster than that of the other slide base 20, or when one slide base 20 starts to move but the other slide base 20 has not started to move, the slide base 20 with the faster moving speed or the one that moved first is interlocked with the other slide base 20 through the interlocking structure 50, so that the two slide bases 20 move at the same speed or in sync. As a result, the two slide tables 20 can stably move closer to or farther away from each other, providing good gripping and releasing effects on objects.
In the above embodiment, the interlocking structure for moving together with the slide base 20 is mainly composed of the interlocking plate 51 and the towing plate 53 pivotally attached, but in another embodiment shown in Figures 10 and 11, the interlocking structure 50A includes a guide groove 26 having an arc-shaped trajectory provided at the bottom of the slide base 20A, and guide blocks 55 provided at both ends of the interlocking plate 51A attached to the shaft 52, and the guide blocks 55 form the interlocking part and are movably located in the corresponding guide groove 26. When the slide base 20A is pushed, the interlocking structure 50A consisting of the guide groove 26, the interlocking plate 51A, the shaft 52, and the guide block 55 causes the interlocking plate 51A to swing by utilizing the guide block 55 being pressed against the groove wall of the guide groove 26 at the bottom of the slide base 20A, so that the two slide bases 20A can be moved relatively close to or away from each other synchronously by the interlocking through the interlocking structure 50A.
In the above two embodiments, the shaft 52 may be fixed and not rotate, but the interlocking plate 51 (51A) has the shaft 52 as its swing center and is attached to the shaft 52 so as to be rotatable. However, in practical applications, it is not excluded that the shaft 52 is designed to be rotatable together with the interlocking plate 51 (51A). For example, take the interlocking structure 50 shown in Figures 4 and 7 as an example. The shaft 52 disclosed therein has a non-circular body 52a, and the non-circular body 52a of the shaft 52 is drilled into the non-circular hole 51a of the interlocking plate 51 to realize the rotation together. In addition, the interlocking plate 51 and the shaft 52 may be fastened or integrally molded to realize the purpose of being able to rotate together. Also, the shaft 52 is fitted with bearings 56 and 57 on the upper and lower sides of the interlocking plate 51, respectively, and the bearings 56 and 57 are housed in the through hole 12b of the intermediate base 12. In other words, if the shaft 52 is attached to the base plate 11 via the intermediate base 12, when the interlocking plate 51 swings, the shaft 52 will be interlocked and rotate together.
As a means for driving and moving the slide table after the shaft and the interlocking plate are made rotatable together, in addition to the pneumatic system disclosed in the above two embodiments, a motor may be adopted as a driving source, and when a motor is used as a driving source, the cylinder tube 41, the piston rod 42, the piston 43 and the airway do not need to be designed. As shown in FIG. 12, the driving means 40A shown in the above embodiment includes a reducer 46 and a motor 47, the reducer 46 is attached to the bottom surface of the base plate 11, the motor 47 rotates together with the shaft 52 and the interlocking plate 51 (or 51A) via the reducer 46, and the interlocking plate 51 (or 51A) is further pivotally attached to the towing plate 53 (or attached to the guide block 55), thereby making it possible to move the slide table 20 (or 20A). For this reason, even in a method of driving and rotating the interlocking plate 51 (or 51A) using the motor 47, the objective of controlling the slide base 20 (or 20A) to move closer to or farther away from each other in a synchronous manner can be achieved in the same way. Therefore, whether the slide base is pushed by air pressure to swing the interlocking member, or the slide base is displaced by driving and rotating the interlocking member with a motor, the interlocking relationship with the swingable interlocking member in between allows the two slide bases to stably move closer to or farther away from each other in a synchronous manner, thereby achieving a good effect of clamping or releasing an object.
In addition, while allowing the shaft and interlocking plate to rotate together, it is necessary to add a sensing unit to detect the rotation angle of the shaft and further confirm the operation of the component or to use it for subsequent control. In one embodiment, the sensing unit 60 includes a magnet 62 and an angle sensor 64. Take for example a structure in which the slide table is pushed and moved by air pressure, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4, 6 and 7, the magnet 62 is provided at one end of the shaft 52 that extends into the hole 11a of the base plate 11, and the magnet 62 rotates with the rotation of the shaft 52. In one embodiment, the magnet 62 is fixed to the shaft 52 via a connection base 66, the angle sensor 64 is attached to the base plate 11 and located within the hole 11a, and has a sensing surface facing the magnet 62 so as to be spaced apart from the magnet 62. The angle sensor 64 senses the rotation angle of the magnetic field line of the magnet 62 in a non-contact manner, and generates a corresponding signal accordingly. The signal can be used, for example, to determine whether the slide table has moved to a predetermined position, but is not limited thereto. On the other hand, in the case of a structure in which a motor drives and rotates an interlocking member to displace the slide table, the magnet 62 is similarly provided at one end of a rotatable shaft 52, and as shown in FIG. 13, the angle sensor 64 is provided in the reducer 46 and is spaced apart from the magnet 62. It should be noted that when a servomotor is used as the motor, the sensing unit 60 is omitted since the servomotor has a detection function.
