Description
The present invention relates to a fluororesin/rubber composite hose whose inner surface is lined with, for example, PFA (perfluoroalkoxy fluororesin) and a method for manufacturing the same.
Hoses with an inner lining of fluororesin are resistant to chemicals. Therefore, they can be used as hoses to transport chemicals such as acids, such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and hydrofluoric acid, bases, such as aqueous sodium hydroxide solutions, aqueous potassium hydroxide solutions, and aqueous ammonia, as well as hydrogen peroxide and alcohols. Specifically, they are used for various pipes in semiconductor manufacturing and for piping in ISO containers lined for high-purity chemicals.
However, there have been no patent documents that describe the structure of the connection part of such a fluororesin/rubber composite hose, and when using such a hose, the following type of joint, for example, has often been created.
For example, as shown in FIG. 8(a), first, a completed long fluororesin-rubber composite hose is produced and cut to a specified length. At the end of the hose H, the
Then, a
By configuring it in this way, the
In the above conventional technology, the
No adhesive is used between the
However, because the hose H is also used for various devices loaded onto moving containers, etc., the hose H may be subjected to frequent vibrations. Also, depending on where the hose H is installed, it may be necessary to make a large bend near the
As such, conventional fluororesin/rubber composite hoses have unstable nipple attachment accuracy at the end of the hose and cannot be said to have sufficient durability, and there is still room for improvement in the nipple attachment structure. The object of the present invention is to provide a fluororesin/rubber composite hose with a nipple that has excellent quality and durability at the connection part of the hose.
(Characteristics)
The fluororesin-rubber composite hose according to the present invention has the following features:
An inner layer formed of a fluororesin and in contact with a fluid;
an inner rubber layer formed on an outer surface of the inner layer using a first rubber material;
an outer rubber layer formed by winding a second rubber material and a reinforcing member around an outer surface of the inner rubber layer,
a nipple having a tubular portion provided at an end portion along the axis of the hose body, the tubular portion being bonded and fixed by the inner rubber layer and disposed between the inner rubber layer and the outer rubber layer, and a connecting portion attached to an outer end portion along the axis of one of both ends of the tubular portion and serving to connect to another object,
The present invention is characterized in that a sealing portion is disposed at the inner peripheral position of the end portion of the nipple on which the connection portion is formed, the sealing portion being closely opposed to the outer surface of the inner layer and preventing the first rubber material of the inner rubber layer from moving along the axis to the outside of the nipple .
(effect)
With this configuration, the tubular portion of the nipple is fixed to the inner layer made of fluororesin by the inner rubber layer, so that the fixing state between the inner layer and the nipple is strong. In addition, the material arranged as the inner rubber layer inside the nipple is the first rubber material, and the outer rubber layer arranged on the outside of this inner rubber layer is also the second rubber material, and since both are rubber materials, it is easy to strongly bond the inner rubber layer and the outer rubber layer. Therefore, even if the fluororesin/rubber composite hose is significantly bent near the nipple of the fluororesin/rubber hose when it is installed, or the entire hose is subjected to large vibrations, a highly durable fluororesin/rubber composite hose can be obtained.
(effect)
Various rubber materials can be used as the first rubber material constituting the inner rubber layer. The inner rubber layer is heated by a vulcanization process after the winding operation of the outer rubber layer is completed, and the fluidity of the first rubber material is increased. As a result, the first rubber material may flow out from the gap between the nipple and the inner layer. Therefore, by arranging a sealing portion to fill the gap, the inner rubber layer is reliably filled between the inner surface of the nipple and the inner layer, and a fluororesin-rubber composite hose in which the nipple and the inner layer are firmly bonded can be obtained.
(Characteristics)
In the fluororesin-rubber composite hose according to the present invention, it is preferable that the sealing portion is a cylindrical retainer disposed between the nipple and the inner layer.
(effect)
The use of such a cylindrical retainer makes it easy to attach the retainer to the inner layer. Moreover, by appropriately setting the thickness of the retainer, the thickness of the inner rubber layer can be set as desired, and the first rubber material constituting the inner rubber layer can be reliably filled.
In addition, when using a retainer, if the shape of the inner surface of the nipple is a simple cylinder, there is no need to change the specifications of the conventional nipple. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a fluororesin/rubber composite hose that has high adhesive strength with the inner layer while still using a conventional nipple.
(Characteristics)
In the fluororesin-rubber composite hose according to the present invention, an expanded diameter portion protruding radially outward can be formed at one of both end portions of the retainer that is on the outer side along the axis.
(effect)
The enlarged diameter portion formed in this manner makes it easier to hold the retainer when positioning the retainer relative to the inner layer, facilitating the work of attaching the retainer.
In addition, the enlarged diameter portion can be pressed toward the inner rubber layer during the vulcanization process, reliably preventing the retainer from shifting out of position.
Furthermore, by expanding the diameter of the end of the inner layer that protrudes from the retainer along the axis and abutting it against the expanded diameter section, the expanded diameter section is positioned between the connection device to which the hose is connected and the connection section of the hose. In other words, by sandwiching the inner layer with the expanded diameter section, the degree of fluid sealing is improved, and it is possible to more reliably prevent the fluid from coming into contact with components such as nipples that are made of materials other than fluororesin.
(Characteristics)
In the fluororesin-rubber composite hose according to the present invention, the sealing portion may be a ring member made of an elastic material and disposed between the nipple and the inner layer.
(effect)
In the present configuration, a ring member made of an elastic material is disposed between the inner layer and the nipple, so that even if there is variation in the gap dimension between the inner surface of the nipple and the outer surface of the fluororesin tube, the elastic material can adhere closely to both the inner layer and the nipple, thereby more reliably preventing the first rubber material constituting the inner rubber layer from flowing out of the nipple in the subsequent vulcanization process.
(Characteristic Means)
The method for producing a fluororesin-rubber composite hose according to the present invention comprises the steps of:
an inner rubber layer made of a first rubber material is formed on an outer surface of a fluororesin pipe that forms an inner layer that comes into contact with a fluid;
a sealing portion is formed adjacent to an end of the inner rubber layer by inserting the sealing portion into the tube;
a cylindrical nipple having a connecting portion for connecting to another object is disposed in a state of covering the sealing portion and an end region of the inner rubber layer;
The present invention is characterized in that an outer rubber layer made of a second rubber material and a reinforcing member is formed on the inner rubber layer and the outer surface of the nipple, and the inner rubber layer and the outer rubber layer are vulcanized.
(effect)
In this method, an inner rubber layer is formed on the outer surface of a fluororesin tube that forms the inner layer, and a seal is placed at the end of the inner rubber layer. This allows the seal to block the first rubber material that has been heated and become more fluid during the subsequent vulcanization process of the inner and outer rubber layers, ensuring that the first rubber material is filled inside the nipple. This makes it possible to obtain a fluororesin-rubber composite hose in which the inner layer and nipple are reliably bonded by the inner rubber layer.
In addition, when a sealing portion is used, the shape of the inner surface of the nipple can be, for example, a simple cylindrical shape, so there is no need to change the specifications of the conventional nipple. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a fluororesin/rubber composite hose that has high adhesive strength with the inner layer while still using a conventional nipple.

A reinforcing
A
The nipple N is configured as follows. The nipple N is used to connect the hose H, and is attached to the end of the hose body Ha along the axis X. As shown in FIG. 1, the nipple N has a
Specifically, the
A ring-shaped
The
よって、第2のゴム材料としては、例えば、IIR(ブチルゴム)やAEM(エチレンアクリレートコポリマー)などを用いることができる。
[Formation of outer layer]
The
The
[Manufacturing method]
FIG. 3 shows a manufacturing procedure for the hose H.
Figure 3(a) shows the state in which the first rubber material is wound in three layers around the
The
The
The
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3(a), when winding the
Figure 3(b) shows the state in which the nipple N has been moved to a predetermined position in the
As a result, when the
Next, a tubular jig J is inserted between the
In addition, when using such a jig J, the shape of the inner surface of the nipple N can be a simple cylindrical shape, and there is no need to change the specifications of the conventional nipple N. Therefore, a hose H with good manufacturing quality can be obtained without any significant increase in manufacturing costs. As a result, a hose H can be obtained that is sufficiently reliable even when used in an environment that involves large bends near the nipple N or in which the entire hose H vibrates frequently.
Figure 3(c) shows the process of forming the
Figure 3(d) shows the state after the

Second Embodiment
A second embodiment of the fluororesin-rubber composite hose H according to the present invention is shown in FIG.
Here, a
The

Third Embodiment
A third embodiment of the fluororesin-rubber composite hose H according to the present invention is shown in FIG.
In this embodiment, an
With this configuration, the
Furthermore, if the

Fourth Embodiment
A fourth embodiment of the fluororesin-rubber composite hose H according to the present invention is shown in FIG.
In this embodiment, the sealing portion F is integrally formed on the inner surface of the nipple N. This sealing portion F is formed in a certain range from the outer end face of the nipple N along the axis X to the inside. Both inner end faces of the sealing portion F are provided with an
In addition, in the case of this configuration, when forming the
With this configuration, the number of components of the hose H is reduced, and the gap between the nipple N and the

Fifth Embodiment
FIG. 6 shows a fifth embodiment of a fluororesin/rubber composite hose H according to the present invention.
Here, a
When using such a
The
In addition, the
Sixth Embodiment
FIG. 7 shows a nipple N according to another embodiment.
In this nipple N, a
From this perspective, with a nipple N of this configuration in which the outer diameter dimension of the
Other embodiments
When forming the
Next, the hose body Ha, in which the
This method eliminates variations in the winding process of tape-like rubber material, and the outer diameter dimension of the
