Description

The present invention relates to short socks that reach almost to the top of the ankle.

Short socks that reach the ankle have been known for some time. In this type of short sock 101, the leg section 104 from the ankle section 103 to the end of the cuff 102 is made of a tightening structure, and three yarns are used as the knitting yarn: a parallel face yarn, an elastic supporting yarn, and an inserted elastic yarn. The tightening structure is made of a combination of rib knitting, supporting yarn knitting, insert knitting, and tuck knitting, which completely prevents the socks from slipping down (see Figure 8). Here, Figure 8 is a plan view showing a conventional short sock turned inside out.

Utility Model Registration No. 3046511

However, in conventional socks 101, the entire upper part of the leg part 104 from the ankle part 103 to the cuff rubber end 102 is made of tightening tissue, so slipping down is completely prevented. However, the tightening tissue part from the ankle part 103 to the cuff rubber end 102, which uses elastic thread (rubber thread, etc.), digs into the ankle or calf, leaving marks on the ankle or calf from the tightening of the rubber, and causing discomfort such as pain and itching. In addition, when putting on the socks, it is necessary to widen the opening, but because the tightening tissue is from the ankle part 103 to the cuff rubber end 102, a strong force must be used to open the cuff rubber end 102, which is tightened by the elastic thread (rubber thread, etc.), making it difficult to put on.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above problems, and aims to provide short socks that are difficult to slip down and are also sufficiently easy to wear.

In order to solve the above problems and achieve the above objects, a first aspect of the present invention relates to a short sock having a length reaching approximately above the ankle, which comprises: a cuff rubber part that is knitted with a knitted rubber thread and provided around the entire circumference of an opening that is located at the ankle approximately above the ankle when the sock is put on for inserting a wearer's foot; a rear cuff rubber fastening part that is knitted with a lower elasticity than the cuff rubber part, and is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape with a short upper side and a long lower side along the circumferential direction of the cuff rubber part, at a height from approximately the upper end to approximately the lower end of the cuff rubber part, posterior to approximately the central cross section in the front-to-rear direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber part; and a rear lower fastening part at the rear of the mouth rubber which is formed in a generally trapezoidal shape with the upper side of the rear fastening part being shorter and the lower side being longer than the upper side, and the rear fastening part at the rear of the mouth rubber and the rear lower fastening part at the rear of the mouth rubber are formed in a generally trapezoidal shape with the upper side of the rear fastening part at the rear of the mouth rubber being shorter and the upper side of the rear fastening part at the rear of the mouth rubber being longer than the upper side, thereby reducing the downward stretching force and making it difficult for the gauze to slip down , and since the rear fastening part at the rear of the mouth rubber and the rear lower fastening part at the rear of the mouth rubber are formed in a trapezoidal shape with the upper side shorter than the lower side, compared to a shape in which the upper and lower sides are formed to be the same length, the upward stretching force is greater than the downward stretching force, making it easier to widen the opening when putting on the gauze and easier to put on.

According to the present invention , the cuff rubber rear lower fastening portion is knitted to have a lower elasticity than the cuff rubber, and is formed rearward of approximately the central section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber, and is longer in width than the cuff rubber rear fastening portion along the left-right circumferential direction, between approximately the rear end of the calcaneus and the cuff rubber when worn. Therefore, the cuff rubber rear lower fastening portion, which is formed along the left-right circumferential direction between approximately the rear end of the calcaneus and the cuff rubber when worn, tightens the sock, making it even less likely to slip down.In addition, because the cuff rubber rear lower fastening portion is formed only rearward of approximately the central section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber, the opening can be sufficiently widened when putting on the short socks, making them sufficiently easy to put on. Furthermore, the upper edge of the rear fastening portion of the mouth rubber is short and the lower edge is long, and the upper edge of the rear lower fastening portion of the mouth rubber is approximately the same length as the lower edge of the rear fastening portion of the mouth rubber, and the lower edge is approximately trapezoidal and longer than the upper edge. Therefore, the elastic force of the approximately trapezoidal rear fastening portion of the mouth rubber and the rear lower fastening portion of the mouth rubber, which have a longer lower edge, makes it even less likely to slip down, and the approximately trapezoidal rear fastening portion of the mouth rubber and the rear lower fastening portion of the mouth rubber, which have a shorter upper edge, make the mouth rubber sufficiently easy to put on .

The present invention makes it possible to prevent the footwear from slipping down and to make it easy to wear.

One embodiment of the short socks of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Here, Fig. 1 is a top view of the short socks in one embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 2 is a bottom view of the short socks, Fig. 3 is an outer side view of the short socks, and Fig. 4 is an inner side view of the short socks.

As shown in Figures 1 to 4, the short sock 1 is a sock that reaches the top of the ankle 6 (see Figures 5 to 7), and has a cuff rubber section 2, a rear cuff rubber tightening section 3, and a rear lower cuff rubber tightening section 4. Here, "a sock that reaches the top of the ankle 6" means a sock whose length does not exceed the top of the ankle 6, and is the same as a sock whose length is below the top of the ankle 6. Since typical short socks only reach the top of the ankle 6, when the wearer walks or plays vigorous sports, the heel 7 of the short sock is pulled toward the toes and easily slips down. However, as described below, the rear cuff rubber tightening section 3 of the short sock 1 acts to prevent the heel 7 of the short sock 1 from being pulled toward the toes behind the cuff rubber section 2 of the short sock 1, so that the elasticity of the rear cuff rubber tightening section 3 makes it difficult for the short sock 1 to slip down. This will be described in detail later. In this embodiment, short socks 1 (see Figs. 5-7) with a length up to the top of the ankle 6 are used, but the present invention is not limited to this, and short socks with a length up to almost the top of the ankle 6 (see Figs. 5-7) or short socks with a length up to almost the ankle may be used. Here, "short socks with a length up to almost the top of the ankle 6" refers to short socks including socks whose length is slightly longer than the top of the ankle 6. In addition, the short socks 1 in this embodiment are tabi-type short socks with toe pockets 8 consisting of a thumb pocket 8a for storing the big toe and a four-toe pocket 8b for storing the other four toes, but the present invention is not limited to this, and short socks with toe pockets for storing each of the five toes separately may be used.

The rubber cuff 2 is knitted with rubber threads woven in, and is provided around the entire circumference of the opening 5 into which the wearer's foot is inserted. Here, "provided around the entire circumference of the opening 5" does not necessarily mean that it is provided around the entire circumference of the opening 5, but may be provided around the entire circumference of the opening 5, and may be provided in some parts of the opening 5. The rubber cuff 2 is formed by inserting multiple courses of rubber thread while performing rubber knitting using a circular knitting machine. The length of the rubber cuff 2 and the number of courses of rubber thread can be set appropriately, and for example, 3 to 10 courses of rubber thread can be inserted to a length of about 4 to 10 mm. The rubber cuff 2 is formed by bag knitting in which the knitted fabric is folded back and doubled. In this embodiment, the rubber cuff 2 is formed by inserting multiple courses of rubber thread while performing rubber knitting using a circular knitting machine, but this is not limited to this, and the rubber cuff 2 may be formed by rib knitting, flat knitting, or stockinette knitting with rubber threads inserted as weft. In addition, in this embodiment, the cuff rubber portion 2 is made of double-layered tubular knitting, but this is not limited to this, and the knitting may be single-layered.

The rear cuff fastening section 3 is knitted with a lower stretch rate than the cuff rubber section 2, and is formed behind the central cross section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber section 2 along the circumferential direction of the cuff rubber section 2. Here, the "central cross section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber section 2" refers to the vertical cross section of the central part in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber section 2 (hollow shape). This is the same as the vertical cross section of the central part in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber section 2 in which the left and right sides of the short sock 1 (cuff rubber section 2) are folded in a mountain shape toward the center. Here, the "vertical cross section" of the "vertical cross section of the central part in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber section 2" refers to the "vertical cross section" when the short sock 1 is worn and the opening 5 is approximately parallel to the ground. In this way, the rear cuff fastening section 3 is formed behind the vertical cross section of the central part in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber section 2. In other words, the rear cuff fastening section 3 is provided on the rear side of the cuff rubber section 2. The rear cuff fastening portion 3 is knitted while overlapping the cuff rubber portion 2. Specifically, the rear cuff fastening portion 3 is knitted by cut boss knitting (taping knitting) so that it has a lower stretch rate than the cuff rubber portion 2 and is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape with its upper side shorter than its lower side. In this way, the rear cuff fastening portion 3 is knitted with a lower stretch rate than the cuff rubber portion 2 within a range behind the central cross section in the front-to-rear direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber portion 2, making it difficult for the cuff rubber portion 3 to slip down, and since the rear cuff fastening portion 3 is formed behind the central cross section in the front-to-rear direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber portion 2, i.e., near the rear of the rear end of the outer ankle portion 6a and the rear end of the inner ankle portion 6b, the opening 5 can be sufficiently widened when putting on the short sock 1, making it sufficiently easy to put on. Here, "cut boss knitting" refers to knitting a partial area of the knitted fabric made of ground yarn when another yarn is layered on top of the ground yarn, and knitting the fabric. In this embodiment, when a nylon yarn is layered on top of the ground yarn, the nylon yarn is knitted in a partial area of the knitted fabric made of ground yarn. In this way, by using "cut boss knitting", the stretch rate of the part knitted with cut boss knitting can be reduced and the tightening force can be improved. In addition, since the rear cuff rubber tightening part 3 is formed at a height from the upper end to the lower end of the cuff rubber part 2, it has a sufficient height to prevent the short sock 1 from slipping down, and therefore it can be made even more difficult to slip down. In this embodiment, the rear cuff rubber tightening part 3 is formed at a height from the upper end to the lower end of the cuff rubber part 2, but this is not limited to this, and it may be formed at a height from approximately the upper end to approximately the lower end of the cuff rubber part 2, and further, it may be formed at a part in the height direction (such as approximately the center) from the upper end to the lower end of the cuff rubber part 2. In this embodiment, the rear tightening part 3 of the mouth rubber is formed behind the central cross section in the front-to-rear direction of the cross section of the mouth rubber 2, but this is not limited thereto, and it may be formed behind the approximately central cross section in the front-to-rear direction of the cross section of the mouth rubber 2, or it may be formed behind the approximately outer malleolus part 6a (front end, front-to-rear middle part, rear end, etc.) and the approximately inner malleolus part 6b (front end, front-to-rear middle part, rear end, etc.). In this embodiment, the rear tightening part 3 of the mouth rubber is knitted by cut boss knitting, but this is not limited thereto, and it may be knitted by tuck knitting. In this way, the mouth rubber 2 can be tightened with a large tightening force by knitting the rear tightening part 3 of the mouth rubber by tuck knitting. Here, "tuck knitting" refers to a knitting method in which, when knitting fabric, a certain stitch is not made, but is made together with the next course when knitting. By preventing the stitch from escaping from the knitting needle, it is held together with the previous stitch on the hook or needle shaft of the knitting needle, and when forming a stitch with the next yarn feed, for example, the knitting yarn is pulled through multiple stitches at the same time to make a new stitch.

The rear lower fastening part 4 of the mouth rubber is knitted with a lower stretch rate than the mouth rubber part 2, and is formed to be longer in the horizontal direction than the rear fastening part 3 of the mouth rubber, between the rear end of the calcaneus 9 (see FIG. 5) and the mouth rubber part 2 when worn, rear of the center of the cross section of the mouth rubber part 2 in the front-to-back direction. In this way, the rear lower fastening part 4 of the mouth rubber is provided below the mouth rubber part 2, and is formed behind the vertical cross section of the center of the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the mouth rubber part 2. In other words, the rear lower fastening part 4 of the mouth rubber is formed below the mouth rubber part 2 on the rear side of the mouth rubber part 2. Specifically, the rear lower fastening part 4 of the mouth rubber is knitted with a lower stretch rate than the mouth rubber part 2 by being knitted by cut boss knitting (taping knitting), and is formed in a substantially trapezoid shape with the upper side being the same length as the lower side of the mouth rubber rear fastening part 3 and the lower side being longer than the upper side. In this way, the rear lower fastening part 4 of the cuff rubber is knitted in a range behind the central cross section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber 2 with a lower stretch rate than the cuff rubber 2, thereby reinforcing the rear fastening part 3 of the cuff rubber and making it more difficult to slip down, and since the rear lower fastening part 4 of the cuff rubber is formed behind the central cross section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber 2, the opening 5 can be sufficiently widened when putting on the short sock 1, making it easy to put on. In this embodiment, the rear lower fastening part 4 of the cuff rubber is formed behind the central cross section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber 2, but this is not limited thereto, and it may be formed behind the approximately central cross section in the front-to-back direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber 2. In this embodiment, the rear lower fastening part 4 of the cuff rubber is formed along the left-to-right circumferential direction between the rear end of the calcaneus 9 and the cuff rubber 2 when worn, but this is not limited thereto, and it may be formed along the left-to-right circumferential direction between the approximately rear end of the calcaneus 9 and the cuff rubber 2 when worn. In addition, the upper edge of the rear lower fastening portion 4 of the mouth rubber is formed to be the same length as the lower edge of the rear fastening portion 3 of the mouth rubber, but this is not limited thereto, and the upper edge of the rear lower fastening portion 4 of the mouth rubber may be formed to be approximately the same length as the lower edge of the rear fastening portion 3 of the mouth rubber, or may be formed to be another length. In addition, in this embodiment, the rear lower fastening portion 4 of the mouth rubber is knitted by cut boss knitting, but this is not limited thereto, and it may be knitted by tuck knitting. In this way, knitting the rear lower fastening portion 4 of the mouth rubber by tuck knitting also allows the mouth rubber portion 2 to be tightened with a large tightening force.

Next, with reference to Figs. 5 to 7, we will explain how the "rear cuff rubber fastening portion 3 on the cuff rubber portion 2" and the "rear lower cuff rubber fastening portion 4 on the lower part of the cuff rubber portion 2" of the short socks 1 prevent the socks from slipping down when the user puts them on, and how they are easy to put on. Here, Fig. 5 is an outer side view of a short sock according to one embodiment of the present invention, with the internal bones displayed, Fig. 6 is an outer rear perspective view of the short sock according to one embodiment of the present invention, with the internal bones displayed, and Fig. 7 is an inner rear perspective view of the short sock according to one embodiment of the present invention, with the internal bones displayed.

As described above, the short socks 1 have a cuff rubber section 2 that is knitted with woven rubber thread and is provided around the entire circumference of the opening, and a rear cuff rubber fastening section 3 that is formed behind the center cross section in the front-to-rear direction of the cross section of the cuff rubber section 2. The elasticity of the rubber thread in the cuff rubber section 2 makes it possible to appropriately prevent the short socks 1 from slipping down. However, when walking or playing vigorous sports, the heel portion 7 of the short sock 1 often gets pulled toward the toes, causing it to slip down. However, the rear cuff rubber fastening portion 3 formed behind the front-to-back center cross section of the cuff rubber 2 acts to prevent the heel portion 7 of the short sock 1 from getting pulled toward the toes behind the cuff rubber 2 of the short sock 1 and slipping down. Therefore, the elasticity of the rear cuff rubber fastening portion 3, which is knitted with a lower elasticity than the cuff rubber 2, makes it difficult for the short sock 1 to slip down. In addition, because the rear cuff rubber fastening portion 3 is located behind the front-to-back center cross section of the cuff rubber 2, that is, near the rear of approximately the rear end of the lateral ankle portion 6a and approximately the rear end of the medial ankle portion 6b of the cuff rubber 2, the opening of the opening 5 is not tightened with a strong tightening force, and the opening 5 can be sufficiently widened when putting on the short sock 1, making it easy to put on. Furthermore, the rear cuff fastening section 3 is formed to a height from the top to the bottom of the cuff 2, so the rear cuff fastening section 3, which is knitted to a lower stretch rate than the cuff 2, has a sufficient height to prevent the sock from slipping down, making it even more difficult to slip down.

As described above, the short sock 1 is provided with a rear cuff fastening portion 3 formed along the circumferential direction of the cuff rubber portion 2, rear of the central front-to-rear cross section of the cross section of the cuff rubber portion 2, and also has a rear lower cuff fastening portion 4 formed along the left-right circumferential direction from between the rear end of the calcaneus 9 (see Figure 5) when worn and the cuff rubber portion 2, rear of the central front-to-rear cross section of the cross section of the cuff rubber portion 2, with a horizontal length longer than the rear cuff fastening portion 3. The rear lower cuff fastening part 4, which is formed behind the center cross section of the cuff 2 in the front-to-back direction, works together with the rear cuff fastening part 3, which is knitted with a lower stretch rate than the cuff 2, to prevent the heel 7 of the short sock 1 from being pulled toward the toes behind the cuff 2 of the short sock 1 and slipping down. The stretching force of the rear lower cuff fastening part 4 together with the rear cuff fastening part 3 makes the short sock 1 even less likely to slip down. In addition, because the rear lower cuff fastening part 4 is only located behind the center cross section of the cuff 2 in the front-to-back direction, the opening of the opening 5 is not tightened with a strong tightening force, and the opening 5 can be sufficiently widened when putting on the short sock 1, making it easy to put on.

Furthermore, the rear fastening part 3 of the mouth rubber is formed in a trapezoid shape with a short top edge and a long bottom edge, and the top edge of the rear lower fastening part 4 of the mouth rubber is the same length as the bottom edge of the rear fastening part 3 of the mouth rubber, and is formed in a trapezoid shape with a longer bottom edge than the top edge. And because the bottom edges of the rear fastening part 3 of the mouth rubber and the rear lower fastening part 4 of the mouth rubber are formed in a trapezoid shape that is longer than the top edge, the downward stretching force is reduced, making it even less likely to slip down. Also, because the rear fastening part 3 of the mouth rubber and the rear lower fastening part 4 of the mouth rubber are formed in a trapezoid shape with the top edge shorter than the bottom edge, the upward stretching force is greater than the downward stretching force, making it sufficiently easy to wear.
