Description

This disclosure relates to a lid.

A known lid of this type can be removed from the container body by cutting off an opening band portion of the lid (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

The above-mentioned lids have the problem that they cannot be stably stacked on top of each other. In response to this, there is a demand for the development of lids that can be stably stacked.

The invention of claim 1 made to achieve the above object provides a lid body in which a fitting wall that fits onto the outside of the upper end of a container body is divided into upper and lower parts, the lower part being a tear-open band part, and which can be removed from the container body by cutting off the tear-open band part, the lid body being provided with an upper surface fitting part on the upper surface thereof, and when lid bodies in a pre-removal state before the tear-open band part is cut off are stacked one above the other, the upper surface fitting part of the lid body on the lower side is received on the inside of the tear-open band part of the fitting wall, thereby restricting lateral displacement between the lid bodies, and when lid bodies in a post-removal state after the tear-open band part is cut off are stacked one above the other, the lower side fitting part is received on the inside of the remaining part of the fitting wall where the tear-open band part has been cut off, The top surface fitting portion of the lid body is received, lateral shifting between the lid bodies is restricted, the opening band portion and the remaining portion are located on the same plane , the top surface of the lid body comprises an outer edge wall portion extending inward from the upper end of the fitting wall, and an inner recessed portion formed by recessing the inside of the outer edge wall portion downward, the top surface fitting portion protrudes upward from the outer edge wall portion and is arranged across the outer edge wall portion and the outer edge of the inner recessed portion, the outer end portion of the top surface fitting portion is located inside the extension line of the outer surface of the fitting wall, and when the lid bodies are stacked on top of each other, the fitting wall of the upper lid body is a lid body that abuts the top surface of the lower lid body outside the top surface fitting portion regardless of whether it is in the pre-removal state or the post-removal state .

The invention of claim 2 is a lid body described in claim 1 , wherein the upper surface fitting portion is composed of a plurality of flat ribs protruding upward from multiple points on the outer peripheral edge of the upper surface of the lid body and extending inward and outward.

The invention of claim 3 is a lid body as described in claim 1 or 2, in which, when the lid bodies in the post -removal state are stacked one on top of the other , the bottom surface of the inner recessed portion of the upper lid body abuts against the upper end surface of the upper surface fitting portion of the lower lid body.

According to the lid of claim 1, regardless of whether the opening band portion is in a pre-removal state before being cut or in a post-removal state after being cut, the upper and lower lids fit together when stacked on top of each other, so the stacking of the lids can be stabilized.

In addition, since the height of the lids in the post-removal state when stacked together is smaller than the height of the lids in the pre-removal state when stacked together, the bulk of the lids can be reduced. Also, since the outer end of the upper surface fitting portion is located inside the extension line of the outer surface of the fitting wall, and the fitting wall of the upper lid body abuts on the upper surface of the lower lid body outside the upper surface fitting portion, it is possible to suppress unevenness on the outer surface of the entire group of stacked lid bodies.

The upper surface fitting portion may be an annular protrusion extending along the outer edge of the upper surface of the lid, or as in claim 2 , it may be flat ribs arranged at multiple locations on the outer circumferential edge of the upper surface of the lid.

According to the lid body of claim 3 , the bottom surface of the inner recess of the upper lid body abuts against and is supported by the upper end surface of the upper surface fitting portion of the lower lid body, so that the stacking is stable.

Figure 1 shows a container 10 consisting of a container body 11 and a lid body 20 that seals the top opening 11K (see Figure 2) of the container body 11. Both the container body 11 and the lid body 20 are, for example, injected resin.

The container body 11 has a bottom wall 12 (see FIG. 2) that is square in plan view, and a side wall 13 that narrows slightly downward. As shown in FIG. 2, the bottom wall 12 and the side wall 13 are connected by a rounded edge. In addition, the lower surface of the bottom wall 12 is formed with an annular protrusion 12B that protrudes downward from a position near the outer periphery.

As shown in the figure, the upper end of the side wall 13 of the container body 11 is a thick portion 14 that is slightly thicker than the lower portion. The thick portion 14 protrudes outward from the side wall 13, and its lower surface 14A extends horizontally. In addition, at the upper end of the outer surface of the side wall 13 of the container body 11, first to third protrusions 15 to 17 are arranged vertically below the thick portion 14 and protrude around the entire circumference of the side wall 13. The cross sections of the tips of the first protrusion 15 and the second protrusion 16 are semicircular, while the cross section of the tip of the third protrusion 17 is fan-shaped with a horizontal lower surface. In addition, the second protrusion 16 protrudes outward slightly more than the first protrusion 15, and the third protrusion 17 protrudes outward slightly more than the second protrusion 16.

Below the third protrusion 17 at the upper end of the side wall 13 of the container body 11, a folded rib 18 is formed, which protrudes horizontally from the outer surface and then folds downward. The folded rib 18 protrudes outward from the third protrusion 17 by about one plate thickness. In addition, the folded wall 18A extending in the vertical direction of the folded rib 18 is inclined so as to widen slightly outward as it goes downward. As shown in FIG. 1, protrusions 18B for attaching handles 19 are formed at two diagonal corners of the folded rib 18 of the container body 11. In addition, a reinforcing rib 13L is provided on the outer surface of the corner portion of the side wall 13, which connects with the folded rib 18 and extends downward beyond the folded rib 18.

1, the lid 20 has a square planar shape like the container body 11, and a fitting wall 21 (corresponding to the "second fitting portion" in the claims) for fitting with the container body 11 extends downward from the outer edge of the ceiling wall 30. The inner side of the outer edge of the ceiling wall 30 is an inner recess 31 that is recessed downward, and the upper end of the side wall 13 of the container body 11 fits between the side wall 31A of the inner recess 31 and the fitting wall 21, so that the lid 20 fits with the container body 11 (see FIG. 2). In addition, the ceiling wall 30 has flat ribs 33 formed across the inner recess 31 and the outer peripheral wall 32 at multiple positions on its outer periphery, so that when the containers 10 are stacked on top of each other, the upper container 10 fits inside the group of flat ribs 33 in the inner recess 31 of the lower container 10 (see FIGS. 3 and 4). These flat ribs 33 form the "first fitting portion" in the claims.

As shown in FIG. 2, the fitting wall 21 extends up to the upper surface of the folded rib 18 of the container body 11. The fitting wall 21 is also inclined so that it widens slightly outward as it extends downward, and the inclination is approximately the same as the inclination of the folded wall 18A of the folded rib 18 of the container body 11. As a result, when the lid 20 is fitted to the container body 11, the outer surfaces of the fitting wall 21 and the folded rib 18 of the container body 11 are continuous and approximately flush with each other.

As shown in Figures 2 and 5, a protrusion 22 that protrudes inward is formed at the upper end of the inner surface of the engagement wall 21. The protrusion 22 extends horizontally on each side of the square planar shape except for both ends, and engages with the underside 14A of the thick part 14 of the container body 11 in a concave-convex manner. Also, as shown in Figure 2, a gasket 40 that improves the airtightness with the container body 11 is attached to the upper end between the engagement wall 21 and the side wall 31A of the inner recess 31.

2 and 6, a V-groove 23 is formed in the vertical center of the outer surface of the fitting wall 21, extending to a position close to the inner surface, and the bottom of the V-groove 23 is a thin-walled portion 24. As shown in Figs. 6 to 8, the portion of the V-groove 23 arranged in the center of one side of the square planar shape of the lid body 20 is a first notch 23K penetrating in the inward and outward directions, and a first notch 26A is formed to the left (to the left in Fig. 7) of the left end (to the left in Fig. 7) of the first notch 23K by cutting out the upper part of the part below the V-groove 23 in the fitting wall 21. In addition, the fitting wall 21 is formed with a groove 25 extending to the right in the figure from the bottom end of the first notch 26A, and a second notch 26B arranged to the right of the groove 25 and formed by cutting out the part of the fitting wall 21 below the groove 25. The portion of the groove 25 adjacent to the first notch 26A is a second notch 25K that penetrates in the inward and outward direction, and the portion of the fitting wall 21 that is sandwiched between the first notch 23K and the second notch 25K is a knob piece 28.

When the gripping piece 28 is grasped and pulled to the right, the bottom of the groove 25 breaks, the thin-walled portion 24 breaks, and the opening band portion 21X below the thin-walled portion 24 of the fitting wall 21 is torn away from the upper fitting wall main body 21Y (corresponding to the "remaining portion" in the claims) and cut off (see Figures 9 and 10). Hereinafter, the state of the lid body 20 before the opening band portion 21X is cut off will be referred to as the "pre-cut state," and the state of the lid body 20 after the opening band portion 21X is cut off will be referred to as the "post-cut state."

2, the thickness of the opening band portion 21X is smaller than that of the fitting wall body 21Y, and the lower end of the inner surface of the fitting wall body 21Y is inclined to connect to the inner surface of the thin-walled portion 24. In addition, an engagement ridge 27 protruding inward is provided at the lower end of the opening band portion 21X. The innermost apex 27A of the engagement ridge 27 is located near the upper end of the width of the engagement ridge 27, and the upper side surface of the engagement ridge 27 faces the lower surface of the third ridge 17 of the container body 11. As a result, when the lid body 20 in the pre-removal state is fitted to the container body 11, the engagement ridge 27 of the lid body 20 and the third ridge 17 of the container body 11 engage with each other. The opposing width of the engagement ridge 27 and the third ridge 17 is larger than the opposing width of the ridge 22 and the lower surface 14A of the thick-walled portion 14.

As described above, the ceiling wall 30 of the lid 20 has flat ribs 33 at multiple positions on its outer periphery. As shown in FIG. 2, the flat rib 33 is located above the outer edge wall 32 of the ceiling wall 30 and has a horizontally extending upper end surface 33A, an inner end surface 33B connecting the inner end of the upper end surface 33A to the bottom 31B of the inner recess 31, and an outer end surface 33C connecting the outer end of the upper end surface 33A to the upper surface of the outer edge wall 32. In other words, the flat rib 33 is provided continuously over the outer edge wall 32 of the ceiling wall 30, the side wall 31A of the inner recess 31, and the bottom 31B of the inner recess 31. Here, the upper surface of the outer edge wall 32 that connects with the fitting wall 21 is a curved surface 32A that curves downward, and the outer end surface 33C of the flat rib 33 connects to the inner end of this curved surface 32A. Additionally, the outer end surface 33C is inclined downward and outward, with an angle greater than that of the fitting wall 21 relative to the vertical direction. As a result, the outer end surface 33C of the flat rib 33 is located inside the extension of the outer surface of the fitting wall 21.

As shown in Fig. 11, when the lid body 20 in the pre-removal state is placed on top, the opening band portion 21X of the fitting wall 21 of the upper lid body 20 abuts against the upper surface (curved surface 32A) of the outer edge wall portion 32 of the lower lid body 20, and the opening band portion 21X of the upper lid body 20 fits on the outside of the group of flat ribs 33 of the lower lid body 20. On the other hand, as shown in Figs. 12 to 14, when the lid body 20 in the post-removal state is placed on top, the fitting wall main body 21Y of the fitting wall 21 of the upper lid body 20 abuts against the upper surface (curved surface 32A) of the outer edge wall portion 32 of the lower lid body 20, and the fitting wall main body 21Y of the upper lid body 20 fits on the outside of the group of flat ribs 33 of the lower lid body 20. In addition, when the lid body 20 in the post-removal state is placed on top, the lower surface of the inner recess 31 (the lower surface of the bottom 31B) of the upper lid body 20 abuts against the upper end surface 33A of the flat rib 33 of the lower lid body 20.

This concludes the description of the configuration of the container 10 of this embodiment. Next, the effects of the container 10 will be described. The container 10 is used to store, transport, and sell liquids and foods such as dyes and seasonings. To do so, the lid 20 is pressed into the container body 11, in which the contents are stored, so that the upper end of the container body 11 is sandwiched between the mating wall 21 of the lid 20 and the side wall 31A of the inner recess 31. Then, the protrusion 22 of the lid 20 engages with the thick portion 14 of the container body 11, and the mating protrusion 27 of the lid 20 engages with the third protrusion 17 of the container body 11, and the lid 20 is fixed to the container body 11 (so-called fixed fit) (see Figures 1 and 2). At this time, the lower end of the fitting wall 21 of the lid 20 abuts against the upper surface of the folded rib 18 of the container body 11, and the outer surfaces become approximately flush, preventing something from accidentally getting caught on the back side of the opening band portion 21X and causing the lid 20 to come off.

When opening the container 10, the gripping piece 28 is pulled and the opening band portion 21X is torn off, which disengages the engaging ridge 27 from the third ridge 17, allowing the lid 20 to be removed. In addition, the ridge 22 of the lid 20 engages with the thick portion 14 of the container body 11, so that even after the opening band portion 21X is cut off, that is, after the container 10 is opened, the lid 20 is weakly locked to the container body 11, preventing the lid 20 from coming off due to vibration or the like. The opposing width between the ridge 22 and the underside 14A of the thick portion 14 is smaller than the opposing width between the engaging ridge 27 and the third ridge 17, so that the lid can be easily removed while still retaining its locking function.

However, in conventional containers of this type, the lids are not designed to fit together, making it impossible to stack them on top of each other, or even if they were stacked, they were unstable. With this type of container, the lids tend to come apart when stored before being attached, and when attaching the lids to the container body, it is necessary to remove the lids from among the scattered lids, which can be time-consuming.

In contrast, with the container 10 of this embodiment, when the lid bodies 20 in the pre-removal state are stacked on top of each other (see FIG. 11), the opening band portion 21X of the upper lid body 20 fits onto the outside of the group of flat ribs 33 of the lower lid body 20, preventing the upper lid body 20 from shifting sideways. This allows the lid bodies 20 to be stably stacked on top of each other, so that the lid bodies 20 in the pre-removal state can be stored without taking up too much space. Also, when attaching the lid bodies 20 to the container body 11, it becomes easier to pick up the lid bodies 20 one by one, improving work efficiency.

In addition, even after the opening band portion 21X is cut off and the container 10 is opened, it is possible to store the lid bodies 20 in the cut-off state together, for example, to reuse the container 10 as a Tupperware or to dispose of it. Even in this case, when the lid bodies 20 in the cut-off state are stacked together (see FIG. 12), the fitting wall body 21Y of the upper lid body 20 fits on the outside of the flat ribs 33 of the lower lid body 20, so that the lid bodies 20 in the cut-off state can be stably stacked and stored easily. Moreover, in the lid body 20 before the cut-off state, the opening band portion 21X of the fitting wall 21 abuts on the upper surface of the outer edge wall portion 32, whereas in the lid body 20 in the cut-off state, the fitting wall body 21Y abuts on the upper surface of the outer edge wall portion 32, so that the bulk of the lid bodies 20 when stacked together after the opening band portion 21X is cut off can be reduced.

When opening the container 10, some people may forcibly spread the lower end of the opening band portion 21X outward to remove the lid body 20 without cutting off the opening band portion 21X. In contrast, according to this embodiment, as shown in Figures 15 and 16, even if there is a mixture of pre-removal and post-removal states, the lid bodies 20 can be stacked on top of each other, which further improves the work efficiency of storing the lid bodies 20.

In addition, in this embodiment, the portion (group of flat ribs 33) that engages with the upper lid 20 when the lids 20 are stacked also serves as the portion that engages with the upper container 10 when the containers 10 are stacked, resulting in a simpler design than if the portion was provided separately. Furthermore, in order to serve both purposes, the flat ribs 33 are formed across the outer edge wall portion 32 and the inner recessed portion 31, increasing the strength of the flat ribs 33. Furthermore, when the lid 20 in the post-removal state is stacked on top, the lower surface (lower surface of the bottom portion 31B) of the inner recessed portion 31 of the upper lid 20 is supported by abutting against the upper end surface 33A of the flat rib 33 of the lower lid 20, resulting in a stable stack.

Furthermore, in both the pre-resection state and the post-resection state, the upper lid body 20 fits onto the outside of the group of flat ribs 33 of the lower lid body 20. For example, when an operator tilts the upper lid body 20 and rotates it so that the fitting wall 21 on one side of the upper lid body 20 is placed against the outer end surface 33C of the flat rib 33 of the lower lid body 20, the same work can be done in both the pre-resection state and the post-resection state, making the work easier than when the lid body 20 fits onto the outside or inside of the group of flat ribs 33 depending on whether it is in the pre-resection state or the post-resection state.

In addition, the outer end surface 33C of the flat rib 33 is located inside the extension line of the outer surface of the mating wall 21, and the mating wall 21 (opening band portion 21X or mating wall main body 21Y) of the upper lid body 20 abuts against the upper surface (curved surface 32A) of the outer edge wall portion 32 of the lower lid body 20, so unevenness of the outer surface of the entire group of multiple stacked lid bodies 20 can be reduced. This prevents the outer surface of the group of lid bodies 20 from getting caught on anything and causing the stack to collapse.
