- トランジスタを含む回路素子層と、
前記トランジスタと接続された第1電極、前記第1電極と対向する第2電極、前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に配置される有機発光層、前記第1電極と前記有機発光層との間に配置される正孔制御層、前記第1電極を露出させる第1開口部が定義された第1ピクセル定義層及び前記第1ピクセル定義層上に配置され、前記第1開口部と重畳する第2開口部が定義された第2ピクセル定義層を含むディスプレイ素子層と、
前記ディスプレイ素子層上に配置された封入層と、を備え、
前記第1ピクセル定義層の上面は、前記有機発光層及び前記正孔制御層から露出され、
前記正孔制御層は、前記第1ピクセル定義層のうち前記第1開口部を定義する側面全体と前記第1電極に接触し、
前記第1ピクセル定義層及び前記第2ピクセル定義層は同じ撥液性物質を含むことを特徴とする、ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記有機発光層に対する第2ピクセル定義層の撥液性は、前記第1ピクセル定義層の撥液性よりも大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1開口部の一方向での幅は、前記第2開口部の前記一方向での幅よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1開口部及び前記第2開口部のそれぞれは、複数提供され、
前記第1開口部及び前記第1開口部と対応する前記第2開口部は、平面上で互いに重畳することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1電極は、複数提供され、それぞれが対応する前記第1開口部と重畳し、
前記第2電極は、前記第1電極と重畳することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第2電極は、前記第2ピクセル定義層、前記第1ピクセル定義層の前記上面と前記有機発光層をカバーすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記封入層は、
前記第2電極をカバーする第1封入無機層、前記第1封入無機層と対向する第2封入無機層、及び前記第1封入無機層と前記第2封入無機層との間に配置される封入有機層を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第2ピクセル定義層は、前記有機発光層と離隔されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1ピクセル定義層のうち前記第1開口部を定義する側面及び前記第2ピクセル定義層のうち前記第2開口部を定義する側面は、互いに段階的な構造であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 第1開口部が定義された第1ピクセル定義層と、
前記第1ピクセル定義層上に配置され、前記第1開口部と重畳する第2開口部が定義された第2ピクセル定義層と、
前記第1開口部によって露出される第1電極、前記第1電極と対向する第2電極、前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に配置された有機発光層及び前記第1電極と前記有機発光層との間に配置される正孔制御層を含む有機発光素子と、を備え、
前記第2ピクセル定義層の前記有機発光層に対する撥液性は、前記第1ピクセル定義層の前記有機発光層に対する撥液性よりも大きく、
前記正孔制御層は、前記第1ピクセル定義層のうち前記第1開口部を定義する側面全体と前記第1電極に接触し、
前記第1ピクセル定義層及び前記第2ピクセル定義層は同じ撥液性物質を含むことを特徴とする、ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1ピクセル定義層の上面は、
