Description
前記粉体の供給流量をM[kg/s]、前記筒の下端における前記筒の軸に垂直な断面の断面積をAS[m2]としたときに、下式を満たす。
1.5≦(M/AS)≦135
通常、筒70と、筒部材17Aとの隙間は、シール材などにより埋められていて、ガスの流通ができないようにされている。
筒70の上端70tよりも上に、スクリューフィーダなどの公知の粉体搬送装置に配置し、上端70tに第1粉体を供給する。
特に、第1粉体の粒径が小さい場合(例えば、平均粒子径300μm以下)、あるいは、第1粉体の粒径が大きい場合であっても、第2粉体を供給する場合においては第2粉体の粒径が小さい場合(例えば、平均粒子径300μm以下)に、第2開口Bからの粒子の飛び出しが起こりやすく、本実施形態の効果が高い。
1.5≦(M/AS)≦135
(M/AS)の好ましい下限は2であってもよく、4であってもよく、10であってもよい。
(M/AS)の好ましい上限は100であり、より好ましい上限は50である。
(M/AS)の例は、1.0、1.1、1.8、2.1、2.7、2.9、4.5、6.8、7.1、16.7、20.4、21.8、52.4、87.1、108.9、130.6、130.6である。
表1に示すように、3つのサイズのホッパを用い、それぞれポリプロピレン粉体の供給流量Mと、筒の下端の断面積ASと、の組み合わせの条件を異ならせて、筒内に粉体を流下させ、溶融混練機のホッパに粉体を供給した。
Claims (4)
- 筒の上端から供給された粉体を、筒内を流下させて筒の下端から排出させる粉体の供給方法であって、
前記粉体の供給流量をM[kg/s]、前記筒の下端における前記筒の軸に垂直な断面の断面積をAS[m2]としたときに、下式を満たす、方法。
4≦(M/AS)≦135 - 前記筒の軸と水平面とがなす角度が40~90°である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記粉体は容器に供給され、前記筒の下端の少なくとも一部は、前記容器の上部開口と同じ高さに位置する、又は、前記上部開口よりも下に位置している、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 熱可塑性樹脂粉を溶融混練装置のホッパに供給する工程と、前記熱可塑性樹脂粉以外の第2粉体を前記ホッパに供給する工程と、前記ホッパに供給された熱可塑性樹脂粉及び第2粉体を溶融及び混練して熱可塑性樹脂組成物を得る工程と、を含み、
前記熱可塑性樹脂粉を前記ホッパに供給する際に、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の方法を用いる、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法。
