Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an interior sheet, etc., which is installed on a floor surface in a bathroom.
Hard materials such as porcelain tiles, FRP, and hard rubber are generally used for bathroom flooring. Furthermore, in recent years, sheets made of vinyl chloride resin (bathroom interior sheets) have been used as flooring, wall, or ceiling materials in bathrooms.
However, while using a bathroom in which a bathroom interior sheet made of vinyl chloride resin has been constructed, the surface of the interior sheet may whiten due to moisture absorption or the like. If the surface of the bathroom interior sheet remains white, the appearance is unfavorable.
Note that "dryability" refers to the fact that the surface of the interior sheet with moisture attached naturally dries within a few hours.

The average particle diameter of silica is not particularly limited, but is, for example, 0.01 μm to 20 μm, preferably 0.1 μm to 15 μm. By using silica within this range, water compatibility can be improved. Although silica having an irregular or spherical shape in plan view and three-dimensional shape can be used, it is preferable to use silica having an irregular shape because water compatibility can be improved.
The average particle diameter of the silica is obtained by measuring from a SEM image as follows.

The ratio of the surface area of the exposed
It is presumed that the silicon present on the surface of the surface protective layer is based on exposed portions of silica. It is considered that the surface area ratio of the exposed portion of silica per unit area can be determined by measuring the mass % of silicon among the mass % of elements present on the surface and determining the ratio.

In addition, in order to dry the floor sheet in a shorter time (for example, to dry it naturally in 6 hours), it is important that no large water droplets remain on the floor sheet. As shown in FIG. 3, FIG. 5 to FIG. The silica is exposed, and the surface layer 3 (for example, the

100 parts by weight of paste-type vinyl chloride resin (manufactured by Kaneka Co., Ltd., trade name "Kane Vinyl Paste PSL31", degree of polymerization: 1000), a plasticizer (dioctyl phthalate, manufactured by Shin Nippon Chemical Co., Ltd., trade name "Kane Vinyl Paste PSL31"). After thoroughly mixing 50 parts by weight of ``Sansocizer DOP'' and 30 parts by weight of calcium carbonate (product name ``Escalon #200'' manufactured by Sankyo Seifun Co., Ltd.), the oven temperature was raised to 200℃. A sheet having a thickness of 3.1 mm was produced using the set paste molding machine (a sheet main body layer having a thickness of 3.1 mm was produced). The surface layer A was laminated on the surface of this sheet body layer and heated and pressed using a hot press machine set at a temperature of 150° C., thereby producing a laminate consisting of the surface layer A/sheet body layer. The entire surface of this laminate (the entire surface of surface layer A) is coated with an ultraviolet curable coating solution containing silica (this coating solution is applied to an ultraviolet curable resin containing urethane acrylate and acrylate monomer with an average particle size of 3. .4 μm silica (containing about 6% by weight) was applied using a gravure roller and irradiated with ultraviolet light. In this way, a colorless and transparent surface protective layer having a thickness of 20 μm was formed on the surface of the surface layer A, thereby producing an interior sheet consisting of the surface protective layer/surface layer/sheet body layer.
When the surface of the surface protective layer was observed by taking an enlarged image using a SEM (scanning electron microscope), it was found that silica was scattered and exposed. Further, according to the following method, the silicon mass % of the silica of the surface protective layer of the interior sheet of Example 1 was measured by elemental analysis by surface SEM observation. The results are shown in Table 2.
<Identification of surface area ratio of exposed silica on the surface of the surface protective layer>
The silicon mass % of the silica was measured by elemental analysis by surface SEM observation of the surface protective layer.
Specifically, an image of the surface of the surface protective layer was taken using a scanning electron microscope (tabletop scanning electron microscope, product name "TM4000Plus" manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd. H) at a voltage setting of 15 kV, and the image was was calculated by elemental mapping using EDS (energy dispersive X-ray analysis).
The reason why the silicon mass % of the silica measured by elemental analysis by surface SEM observation of the surface protective layer was used to specify the surface area ratio of the exposed silica is as follows.
It is also possible to image the surface of the surface protective layer and measure the area of silica per unit area from the two-dimensional image. However, the portion of the silica that is exposed from the surface (the surface of the ultraviolet curable resin that is the matrix resin) is three-dimensional, so it is not accurate to calculate it from a two-dimensional image. Furthermore, among the elements contained in the surface protective layer, silicon is solely based on silica.

[Comparative example 4]
An interior sheet consisting of a surface protective layer/surface layer/sheet body layer was produced in the same manner as in Example 1 except that surface layer B was used instead of surface layer A. Regarding the surface of the surface protective layer of the interior sheet, as in Example 1, the silicon mass % of silica was measured by elemental analysis using the above-mentioned surface SEM observation, and the surface area ratio of silica was determined. The results are shown in Table 2.

[Comparative example 6]
The interior sheet of Comparative Example 6 was a laminate consisting of surface layer B/sheet body layer without forming a surface protective layer.
[Evaluation of water compatibility and dryness]
From the interior sheets of each example and comparative example, test pieces were obtained by cutting out length x width = 297 mm x 210 mm.
Place the test piece horizontally, and check the surface of the test piece (the surface of the test piece is the surface of the surface protection layer for interior sheets with a surface protection layer formed, and the surface of the surface protection layer for interior sheets with no surface protection layer formed). is the surface layer (hereinafter the same applies), water was evenly sprayed using a sprayer so that the amount was approximately 150 g/m 2 . Thereafter, the water compatibility of the surface was visually observed. The results are shown in Table 2. Note that water compatibility refers to a state in which water spreads laterally on the surface of a test piece and the thickness of the water film is small.
"◎" in the water familiarity column on the surface of Table 2 indicates that the water is judged to be very familiar with the surface, and "○" indicates that the water is judged to be familiar to the surface to some extent. "x" indicates a case where it is determined that water is being repelled.
Next, after sufficiently drying the test piece after water compatibility, water was sprayed on the test piece in the same manner as above, and the test piece was heated at a temperature of 23°C and a humidity of 50%RH. The sample was left to stand and the time until the water on the surface disappeared was measured. The results are shown in Table 2.
"◎" in the drying property column of Table 2 indicates that the drying time is 3 hours or less, "○" indicates that the drying time is 6 hours or less, and "x" indicates that the drying time exceeds 6 hours. represent.
From these results, it can be seen that the more water spreads in the lateral direction and the better the water compatibility, the better the drying properties.
From the comparison between Examples 1 to 6 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3, it can be seen that if the exposure of silica on the surface of the surface protective layer is small, good water compatibility and drying properties cannot be obtained.
From the trends in Examples 1 to 6, it is estimated that the larger the surface area ratio of silica on the surface, the better the water compatibility and drying properties, but if it is too large, the surface protective layer may become brittle, and further, It is thought that there is a risk that stain resistance, design, transparency, and pain resistance may deteriorate. Therefore, the upper limit of the surface area ratio of silica is preferably 7.0% or less. The surface layer of the interior sheets of Comparative Examples 4 and 6 contains a surfactant, so the surface has excellent water compatibility and drying properties, but the whitening suppressing effect is extremely reduced (Table 2 (See initial color difference ΔE of Comparative Examples 4 and 6).
[Water absorption whitening test]
It is known that layers containing vinyl chloride resin whiten when in contact with moisture for a long time. Hereinafter, whitening caused by long-term contact with moisture will be referred to as "water absorption whitening." Since the appearance of the surface of the interior sheet changes due to water absorption and whitening, here, after water absorption, the surface was visually observed and the color difference (ΔE) of the surface was measured at intervals.
Specifically, from the interior sheets of Examples and Comparative Examples, length x width = 100 mm x 100 mm were cut out to obtain test pieces.
After the test piece was immersed in warm water at 40° C. for 24 hours, the color difference (ΔE) on its surface was measured (hereinafter referred to as initial color difference). The initial color difference results are shown in "Initial" in Table 2. The initial color difference is the difference between the color of the surface of the test piece before immersion in hot water and the color of the surface of the test piece after immersion. After immersion, measurements were taken after wiping off water droplets adhering to the surface. The color difference (ΔE) is measured using a color difference meter (trade name "Color Meter ZE2000" manufactured by Nippon Denshoku Kogyo Co., Ltd.) using the L*a*b* color system (L*: It is a color difference due to brightness, a*b*: chromaticity). Note that ΔE={(L−L0) 2 +(a−a0) 2 +(b−b0) 2 } 1/2 .
Further, immediately before measuring the initial color difference, the surface condition was visually observed. The results are shown in Table 2 under water absorption whitening. In the water absorption whitening column of Table 2, "○" indicates that the whitening was not noticeable, "△" indicates that the whitening was somewhat noticeable, and "x" indicates that the whitening was noticeable.
After measuring the initial color difference, the test piece was further left for 1 hour at a temperature of 23°C and a humidity of 50% RH, and the color difference (ΔE) on the surface of the test piece was similarly measured (after leaving for 1 hour). Color difference). The color difference after being left for 1 hour is the difference between the color of the surface of the test piece before immersion in hot water and the color of the surface of the test piece after being left for 1 hour. The results are shown in Table 2. Note that ΔE is an index indicating that the smaller the value, the less whitening has occurred.
When the surface was visually observed after being left for 1 hour, except for Comparative Example 6, the color had returned to the surface color of the test piece before immersion in hot water, and no whitening could be confirmed.
Although surfactants can be a factor that promotes water absorption and causes whitening, it can be seen that the example having the surface layer A that does not contain a surfactant can suppress water absorption and whitening.
[Daily goods whitening test]
When a layer containing a vinyl chloride resin comes into contact with daily necessities containing a surfactant, such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc., the layer surface may become white, ie, so-called whitening. Since this whitening occurs even under conditions of low moisture content or short contact time with moisture, it is considered to be a different phenomenon that occurs by a different mechanism from the above-mentioned water absorption whitening. In order to distinguish between the two, hereinafter, whitening caused by contact with daily necessities containing a surfactant will be referred to as "daily necessities whitening". In addition, while water absorption whitening is a reversible phenomenon, the whitening of daily necessities is considered to be an irreversible phenomenon as the whitening decreases to a certain extent when daily necessities containing surfactants are removed, but the decrease in whitening is small. . In addition, whitening of everyday products and water absorption whitening are both whitening caused by physical destruction such as bending, impact, and scratching of resin, whitening caused by light diffusion due to surface irregularities, whitening caused by thermal denaturation of resin, etc. These are phenomena that have different principles of occurrence.
Specifically, three test pieces were prepared by cutting out 100 mm x 100 mm (length x width) from the interior sheets of each example and comparative example.
Approximately 1 ml of commercially available shampoo (trade name "Merrit", manufactured by Kao Corporation) was dropped onto the surface of one test piece, and after spreading it to approximately 10 cm2, the temperature was 23°C and the humidity was 50°C. After being left for 24 hours under %RH, the shampoo was wiped off, washed with water, and air-dried until the surface moisture disappeared. After drying, the surface condition was visually observed.
The test piece after drying was prepared in the same manner, except that a second test piece was used, and a commercially available rinse (product name ``Merit'', manufactured by Kao Corporation) was used instead of shampoo. The surface condition was visually observed.
A test piece after drying was prepared in the same manner, except that a third test piece was used, and a commercially available body soap (trade name "Body Wash Premium" manufactured by Dow Company) was used instead of shampoo. The surface condition was visually observed. The results are shown in Table 2.
``○'' in the daily necessities column of Table 2 indicates that there was no whitening, ``△'' indicates that whitening was confirmed by staring at it, and ``x'' indicates that whitening was immediately visible. .
[Reference Examples 1 to 3]
The above-mentioned forming materials were blended in the proportions shown in Table 1, thoroughly mixed, and then produced into a sheet with a thickness of 0.4 mm using a calendar molding machine with a roll temperature of 150°C. In this way, surface layers C to E each having a thickness of 0.4 mm were produced. All of the surface layers C to E exhibited a deep beige color as a whole.
A sheet main body layer was produced in the same manner as in Example 1, and the surface layer C was laminated on the surface of this sheet main body layer, and the surface layer C was heated and pressed using a heat press machine set at a temperature of 150°C. A laminate consisting of / sheet main body layer was produced and used as a laminate of Reference Example 1.
A laminate of Reference Example 2 was produced in the same manner as Reference Example 1 except that the surface layer C was replaced with the surface layer D.
A laminate of Reference Example 3 was produced in the same manner as Reference Example 1 except that the surface layer C was replaced with the surface layer E.
[Water absorption whitening and daily product whitening test]
Water absorption whitening and daily necessities whitening of the surfaces of the laminates of Reference Examples 1 to 3 (surfaces of surface layers C to E) were measured and observed in the same manner as the above [Water absorption whitening test] and [Daily necessities whitening test]. The results are shown in Table 3.
From the results of the reference example, it can be seen that when two types of inorganic fillers are used, the larger the ratio of talc and the smaller the ratio of calcium carbonate, the more water absorption whitening and daily product whitening can be suppressed.
Furthermore, from the comparison between Comparative Example 6 and Reference Examples 2 and 3, it can be seen that even when the surface layer contains a surfactant, water absorption whitening and daily product whitening can be suppressed by using talc as an inorganic filler. .
It is estimated that when the surface protective layers of Examples 1 to 6 are formed on the surface of the laminates of Reference Examples 1 to 3, interior sheets with excellent drying properties and suppressed water absorption and whitening can be obtained. . Preferably, when the surface protective layers of Examples 1 to 6 are formed on the surface of the laminates of Reference Examples 2 and 3, an interior sheet with excellent drying properties and suppressed water absorption whitening and daily necessities whitening can be obtained. It is estimated to be.
