Description
The present invention mainly relates to a liquid-cooled heat exchanger for cooling a heat generating element such as an electronic component.
2. Description of the Related Art As a liquid-cooled heat exchanger for cooling a heat generating element such as an electronic component, the one disclosed in Patent Document 1 below is known. The heat exchanger shown in FIG. 5 is a heat exchanger of a form similar to that of Patent Document 1.
In this heat exchanger, a
In this heat sink, refrigerant pipes (not shown) are respectively connected to a pair of
When manufacturing the heat exchanger described above, each component is coated with a brazing material. At the same time, flux is applied to each component inside the casing. In this state, the parts are brazed and fixed together in a high-temperature furnace.
However, during the brazing process using flux, the flux applied to each part has good wettability and spreads easily, so it rises from each part in the casing due to surface tension, as shown by the arrow in Figure 5. Then, it crawls up to the opening 6 of the entrance/
As a result, refrigerant leaks between the opening 6 and the refrigerant pipe or the like connected thereto, reducing the performance of the heat exchanger.
In addition, when the
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a heat exchanger that solves these problems.
