Description
The present invention relates to variable air permeability fabrics.
Conventionally, methods for greatly improving the air permeability of textiles include controlling the density through the textile structure, weaving by partially using threads that dissolve in specific solvents, and dyeing the threads during the dyeing process. A method of intentionally creating voids by dissolving the material has been proposed (see Patent Document 1). By using such a method, it is possible to effectively release hot air and moisture inside clothing to the outside of the system.
Furthermore, conjugate fiber materials are used as a method to quickly respond to changes in humidity and water content and to reversibly change air permeability during wear. The conjugate fiber material absorbs moisture and sweat caused by sweating during strenuous exercise, expanding the weave and increasing breathability. Therefore, it is known that it is possible to eliminate the feeling of stuffiness and stickiness in clothes and improve comfort (see Patent Document 2).
However, although the clothing described in Patent Document 1 has voids and can release hot air and moisture within the clothing, the breathability does not change in response to changes in hot air and humidity. That is, it does not have ventilation variability.
In addition, the conjugate fiber material described in Patent Document 2 requires the use of two different polymer components, and has special fiber structures such as side-by-side type, core-sheath type, and multilayer laminated type, which improves breathability. There is a problem in that there are restrictions on the fiber material and structure due to the change.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a variable air permeability fabric using a general-purpose fiber material.
The present invention aims to solve the above problems and has the following configuration. That is, the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention is a variable air permeability fabric using polyamide fibers, and has an air permeability A at 100% humidity measured by JIS-L1096:2010 air permeability A method (Fragile type method). , the difference (A-B) between the air permeability B and the absolute dry state (90° C. x 1 hr) is 3.0 cc/cm 2 ·sec or more.
According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a variable ventilation fabric using a general-purpose fiber material.
The sliding variable air permeability fabric of the present invention is a variable air permeability fabric using polyamide fibers, and has an air permeability A at 100% humidity measured by JIS-L1096:2010 air permeability A method (Fragile type method). , the difference (A-B) from the air permeability B when completely dry (90° C. x 1 hr) is 3.0 cc/cm 2 ·sec or more, and the polyamide fiber contains a polyamide swelling agent . In addition, in the present invention, variable ventilation fabric means that when the fabric is at rest, that is, when the fabric is dry, it has low breathability, so it can provide high heat retention, and conversely, when the fabric is sweating during exercise, This refers to textiles that temporarily increase breathability when the fabric absorbs moisture, allowing hot air inside the garment to escape.
Examples of the polyamide fibers in the present invention include, but are not particularly limited to, nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 610, nylon 11, nylon 12, and combinations of two or more of these polyamide fibers.
The variable air permeability fabric of the present invention has an air permeability A when 100% wet and an air permeability B when completely dry (90°C x 1 hr) measured by JIS-L1096:2010 air permeability A method (Fragile type method). The difference is 3.0 cc/cm 2 ·sec or more. By having a difference of 3.0 cc/cm 2 ·sec or more, it is possible to sufficiently discharge hot air and moisture trapped in the clothes during exercise, etc., and high heat retention properties can be obtained when at rest. In the present invention, 100% moisture refers to a state in which the dough retains the same amount of water relative to the weight of the dough. The wetting method is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to impregnate the fabric in water, make the entire fabric evenly moist, and then control the moisture content by hanging it to dry, using a mangle, a dehydrator, or the like. Furthermore, the term "absolutely dry" in the present invention refers to the state after the fabric is dried in a constant temperature bath at 90°C for 1 hour.
The air permeability variable fabric of the present invention has an air permeability measured by JIS-L1096:2010 air permeability A method (Frazier type method) after being 100% wetted and left at 20°C x 65% RH for 10 minutes, It is preferable that the difference in air permeability when completely dry (90° C.×1 hr) is 3.0 cc/cm 2 ·sec or more. By having a difference in air permeability of 3.0 cc/cm2 · sec or more, even if the wetness of the variable air permeable fabric drops from 100%, it maintains a certain degree of air permeability. can be discharged more efficiently.
The variable air permeability fabric of the present invention preferably has an air permeability A of 30 to 200 cc/cm 2 ·sec at 100% humidity measured by method A (fragile method) described in JIS-L1096:2010. This air permeability A can be achieved, for example, by appropriately adjusting the fineness of the fibers when dissolving fibers are used or the size of the holes when the fabric has holes penetrating from the front surface to the back surface.
The variable ventilation fabric of the present invention has a moisture absorption rate difference (ΔMR) of 2.5, which is the difference between the moisture absorption rate MR90 at 30°C x 90% RH and the moisture absorption rate MR65 at 20°C x 65% RH (MR90-MR65). % or more. By setting the moisture absorption rate difference (ΔMR) to 2.5% or more, hot air and moisture trapped inside the clothes can be discharged more efficiently.
In the manufacturing process of the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention, it is preferable to use fibers that can be dissolved in the same solvent as part of the warp threads and part of the weft threads. "Using fibers that are soluble in the same solvent for part of the warp threads and part of the weft threads" means that soluble fibers are used for part of the warp threads and part of the weft threads, and This means that the fibers used in a part of the weft and the fibers used in a part of the weft are dissolved in the same solvent. Here, "some" of the warp yarns or weft yarns refers to one or more of the plurality of warp yarns or weft yarns, or less than the total number of warp yarns or weft yarns. Since some of the warp yarns among the plurality of warp yarns and some of the weft yarns among the plurality of weft yarns have the property of being dissolved in the same solvent, those warp yarns, By dissolving the weft yarns, holes can be formed through the intertwined portions.
In the present invention, the fibers used for part of the warp thread and part of the weft thread and dissolved in a solvent include, for example, water-soluble fibers such as polyvinyl alcohol fibers, isophthalic acid, 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid, and Polyester fibers copolymerized with a third component such as methoxypolyoxyethylene glycol, easily alkali-soluble fibers such as polylactic acid fibers, etc. can be used.
Further, these fibers can be used alone or as a composite of two or more types. When these fibers are used alone, they can be used by arranging, aligning, doubling, or twisting two or more fibers.
It is preferable that the total fineness of the yarn made of fibers to be dissolved is the same as that of the yarn made of fibers that are not dissolved. If warp yarns with different total finenesses are used, unevenness may occur on the warp beam, making it difficult to wind the warp yarns neatly, and it may be difficult to manage the warp yarn tension on the loom. Therefore, it is preferable to match the total fineness of both fibers as much as possible, but as long as there is no problem in production, the yarns made of the fibers to be melted may have any total fineness.
In the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention, it is preferable that the total area of holes penetrating the variable air permeability fabric from the front surface to the back surface is 0.1 area % or more in the variable air permeability fabric. When the total area is 0.1 area % or more, good air permeability and stretchability are easily obtained.
The variable air permeability fabric of the present invention preferably has one or more holes penetrating from the front surface of the fiber to the back surface. The presence of one or more such holes makes it easier to obtain a woven fabric with excellent physical properties such as breathability, stretchability, and tear strength.
When there are four or more holes, it is preferable that the straight lines connecting the holes form a square grid pattern. By forming a lattice pattern, it becomes easier to obtain a fabric with excellent physical properties such as tear strength. A method for forming such a checkered pattern is, for example, by arranging and dissolving two warp yarns and two weft yarns that are soluble in a solvent at regular intervals on a fabric made of warp yarns and weft yarns that do not dissolve. Since there are four intertwined portions of yarn and weft, four holes are formed that penetrate from the surface to the back of the fiber depending on the fineness of the fiber, and the straight lines connecting the holes can form a rectangular lattice pattern.
Further, the size of the hole penetrating from the front surface of the fabric to the back surface is preferably 5×10 −3 mm 2 or more and 1 mm 2 or less. If it is smaller than 5 x 10 -3 mm2 , it tends to have poor breathability and stretchability, and if it is larger than 1mm2 , it has excellent breathability and stretchability, but it may be inferior in physical properties such as transparency and tear strength. . More preferably, it is 2×10 −2 mm 2 or more and 8×10 −1 mm 2 or less.
The variable air permeability fabric of the present invention preferably has holes penetrating from the front surface to the back surface with a vertical to horizontal ratio of 1:3 to 3:1 when completely dry (90° C. x 1 hr). When the vertical/horizontal ratio of the holes is 1:3 to 3:1, it tends to have excellent physical properties such as fabric edge fraying and slip resistance when used as clothing. In addition, in terms of appearance, it may be less likely that fabric deviation will occur. The vertical-to-horizontal ratio of the holes is more preferably 1:2 to 2:1 from the viewpoint of facilitating stable fabric design.
In the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention, it is preferable that the length of at least one side of the holes is 0.2 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less when bone dry (90° C. x 1 hr). If the length of one side is 0.2 mm or more, breathability tends to be excellent. Moreover, when the length of one side is 0.5 mm or less, physical properties such as ultraviolet shielding properties, slip resistance, and fabric edge fraying tend to be excellent. The length of one side is more preferably 0.25 mm or more and 0.45 mm or less. The size of the holes, the vertical/width ratio of the holes, and the length of one side can be controlled by, for example, considering the fineness of the fibers to be dissolved in the solvent and the designed arrangement.
The variable air permeability fabric of the present invention preferably has a cover factor (hereinafter sometimes referred to as CF value) of 2,000 to 4,000. When the CF value is within the above range, the difference (AB) between the air permeability A and the air permeability B described above can be easily set to 3.0 cc/cm 2 ·sec or more. The CF value is more preferably 2,500 to 3,000.
Examples of methods for producing the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention include a method in which a void-feather structure is created with a gap of two or more adjacent warp threads, and the spacing between voids is 1 mm or more, or a method in which the fabric is dissolved in a solvent. Examples include a method of using a fiber thread as a warp yarn and dissolving and removing it with such a solvent. At that time, by using a fiber yarn that dissolves in a solvent for a part of the weft yarn, such fiber yarn is dissolved and removed in the solvent, and the intertwined portion with the warp yarn is added to its total fineness. A through hole can be made from the front side of the fiber to the back side according to the requirements.
A method for producing a variable air permeability fabric of the present invention is a method for producing a variable air permeability fabric of the present invention, which includes fibers that are dissolved in the same solvent used for a portion of the warp yarn and a portion of the weft yarn. It is preferable to include a step of dissolving with a solvent. By making warp yarns and weft yarns that dissolve in the same solvent into a fabric using part of the warp yarns and weft yarns, and removing them by dissolving them in the solvent, it is possible to efficiently create holes that penetrate through the intertwined parts. It is preferable because it can be done. The solvent in which both the warp yarn and the weft yarn are dissolved may be water. Fibers that dissolve in water (yarns) are water-soluble fibers such as polyvinyl alcohol fibers, and the water-soluble fibers are used for at least one warp yarn and at least one weft yarn, and are dissolved and removed in water. By doing so, a hole penetrating from the surface of the fiber to the back surface is formed in the intertwined portion of the warp yarn and the weft yarn. Regarding the warp yarns, gaps may be formed by using an empty feather structure without using the above-mentioned water-soluble fibers. It is preferable that the temperature of the water used is 20°C or higher, but it is preferable to dissolve and remove at a temperature of 50°C or higher in order to sufficiently express dissolution efficiency and crimping of the fibers without completely dissolving them. . Furthermore, in order to sufficiently develop the crimp of the fibers without completely dissolving them, it is preferable to carry out a hot water bath treatment at a temperature of 60° C. or more and 100° C. or less in the same bath or in a separate bath.
Solvents refer to solutions of alkaline substances such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and sodium carbonate for polyester fibers and polylactic acid fibers, which are easily alkali-soluble fibers. Therefore, it is a preferred embodiment to use it as an alkaline aqueous solution. In the method for producing a variable air permeability fabric of the present invention, it is particularly preferable that the solvent is an alkaline aqueous solution containing sodium hydroxide, and the alkaline aqueous solution is preferably dissolved and removed at a bath temperature of 50° C. or higher. Further, in order to fully develop the crimp of the fibers without completely dissolving them, it is preferable to carry out a hot water bath treatment at a temperature of 60° C. or more and 100° C. or less in the same bath or in a separate bath.
Further, water-soluble fibers can also be dissolved and removed in an alkaline aqueous solution using an alkaline substance in combination. The concentration of the alkaline substance used is preferably 0.1% or more in the case of sodium hydroxide, and more preferably 1% or more from the viewpoint of speeding up the dissolution time.
In the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention, it is preferred that the polyamide fibers contain a polyamide swelling agent. Containing a polyamide swelling agent causes the polyamide fibers to swell, thereby shortening the fiber length and increasing the fiber diameter, making it easier for the fabric to maintain a closed state in a dry state. On the other hand, when it comes into contact with moisture such as sweat, the fiber length increases and the fiber diameter decreases, which opens up the woven fabric and tends to increase air permeability. In the present invention, the polyamide swelling agent refers to an agent that serves to swell polyamide fibers or cloth when the polyamide fibers or fabric are immersed in a solvent. The reason why the polyamide swelling agent swells the polyamide fiber is presumed to be that the polyamide swelling agent penetrates into the amorphous portion of the polyamide fiber, and the crystalline portion plays a role of crosslinking.
Specific examples of the polyamide swelling agent include, but are not limited to, benzyl alcohol, fluoroalcohol, phenylene glycol, a methanol solution of potassium chloride, a methanol solution of calcium chloride, and phenols (phenol, cresol, xylenol). In the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention, the polyamide swelling agent preferably contains benzyl alcohols or benzyl alcohol derivatives, and more preferably contains benzyl alcohol. Here, examples of the benzyl alcohol derivative include ethylene oxide derivatives and propylene oxide derivatives of benzyl alcohol.
The method of incorporating the polyamide swelling agent into the polyamide fibers is not particularly limited, but includes, for example, a method of incorporating the polyamide swelling agent into a bath during processing with a jet dyeing machine. The amount of polyamide swelling agent used in the bath at this time is preferably 5 to 80 g/L based on water. If it is less than 5 g/L, a sufficient swelling effect cannot be obtained and sufficient reversibility against moisture cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if it exceeds 80 g/L, the swelling of the polyamide becomes large and the shrinkage of the fibers becomes large, impairing the texture. More preferably, it is 10 to 50 g/L.
The variable air permeability fabric of the present invention is treated with an antistatic agent, a water absorbing agent, a moisture absorbing agent, a water repellent, an oil repellent, an antifouling agent, a coloring agent, a lubricant, etc., to the extent that the effects of the present invention are not impaired. be able to.
The variable air permeability fabric of the present invention can be used as clothing such as sportswear, homewear, coats, blouses, blouses, shirts, skirts, slacks, indoor sportswear, pajamas, sleepwear, underwear, officewear, workwear, white food coats, It is preferably used for nursing white coats, patient clothes, nursing care clothes, school uniforms, kitchen clothes, etc. It is also preferably used for miscellaneous goods such as aprons, towels, gloves, mufflers, socks, hats, shoes, sandals, and bags. In addition, it is preferably used as interior goods such as curtains, kotatsu covers, sofa covers, cushion covers, sofa upholstery, and tablecloths. Further, as bedding products, it is preferably used for futon side fabrics, sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and the like.
Next, the variable air permeability fabric of the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these Examples.
The following methods were used for various evaluation methods in the examples.
(Air permeability):
The amount of air passing through the test piece (cc/cm 2 ·sec) was determined using a Frazier type tester according to the method specified in JIS-L1096:2010 Air permeability method A (Fragile type method).
MR65(%)=[(W65-W0)/W0]×100
MR90(%)=[(W90-W0)/W0]×100
ΔMR(%)=MR90-MR65。
(Moisture absorption rate difference (ΔMR)):
Approximately 1 to 2 g of the composition pellet was weighed into a weighing bottle, and the weight (W0) after drying at 110° C. for 2 hours was measured. Next, the pellet was held at 20° C. and relative humidity of 65% for 24 hours, and then its weight (W65) was measured. Then, the weight (W90) of the pellet was measured after the pellet was maintained at 30° C. and 90% relative humidity for 24 hours. Then, ΔMR was calculated according to the following formula.
MR65 (%) = [(W65-W0)/W0] x 100
MR90 (%) = [(W90-W0)/W0] x 100
ΔMR (%) = MR90-MR65.
(Cover factor (CF value)):
As an index of the coverage of the woven fabric, the cover factor was calculated by applying the apparent total fineness and density of the yarn taken out from the woven fabric to the following formula.
・CF value = {Warp thread apparent fineness (dTex)}^1/2 x Number of warp threads (pieces/2.54cm) + {Weft thread apparent fineness (dTex)}^1/2 x Number of weft threads (pieces/2) .54cm)
In the formula, "^1/2" represents the 1/2 power. In addition, the number of threads used was the sum of the front texture and the back texture.
