Description
第1実施形態に係る電磁波吸収剤は、ポリフェノールと、乳酸菌と、を含み、少なくとも紫外線を吸収する。ポリフェノールの例としては、クロロゲン酸、カテキン、アントシアニン、タンニン、ルチン、イソフラボン、エラグ酸、リグナン、クルクミン、及びクマリンが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。クロロゲン酸は、桂皮酸誘導体とキナ酸のエステル化合物である。ポリフェノールは天然由来であってもよいし、安全が確認された人工合成化合物であってもよい。
第2実施形態以降では第1実施形態と共通の事柄についての記述を省略し、異なる点についてのみ説明する。特に、同様の構成による同様の作用効果については実施形態毎には逐次言及しない。
ヨモギを50℃で3日間乾燥した。乾燥後のヨモギを粉砕機で粉末状にした。次に、ソックスレー抽出機を用いて、粉末状のヨモギの溶媒可溶成分を酢酸エチル中に溶出し、ヨモギ成分溶液を得た。その後、エバポレーターを用いて、ヨモギ成分溶液から酢酸エチルを除去し、主としてクロロゲン酸等のポリフェノールを含むヨモギの成分を抽出した。なお、当該方法は、発酵工程を含まなかった。
実施例1と同様の方法により、明日葉から、主としてクロロゲン酸等のポリフェノールを含む明日葉の成分を抽出した。
独立行政法人製品評価技術基盤機構バイオテクノロジーセンター(NBRC)より、乳酸菌の菌株であるStreptococcus thermophilus(NBRC 13957)、Leuconostoc mesenteroides(NBRC 110676)、Pediococcus damnosus(NBRC 3889)、Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis(NBRC 12007)、Lactobacillus plantarum(NBRC 3070)、Enterococcus faecalis(NBRC 3971)、及びBifidobacterium bifidum(NBRC 100015)を入手した。
水溶媒中に0.0005重量%の濃度でLactobacillus plantarumを含む懸濁液をサンプル1として調製した。水溶媒中に0.0005重量%の濃度のヨモギ抽出成分を含む懸濁液をサンプル2として調製した。水溶媒中に0.0005重量%の濃度のヨモギ抽出成分と、0.0005重量%の濃度のLactobacillus plantarumと、を含む懸濁液をサンプル3として調製した。サンプル3を20分間121℃で加熱処理し、サンプル4を調製した。サンプル4を20分間10000rpmで遠心分離してポリフェノールが付着した菌体を回収し、回収した菌体を自然乾燥して乾燥菌体を得た。水溶媒中に0.0005重量%の濃度で乾燥菌体を懸濁した懸濁液をサンプル5として調製した。

水溶媒中に0.0005重量%の濃度のヨモギ抽出成分又は明日葉抽出成分と、0.0005重量%の濃度の各乳酸菌と、を含む懸濁液を調製した。さらに、懸濁液を20分間121℃で加熱処理した。加熱処理後の各懸濁液について、波長365nmにおける吸光度を計測した。その結果、図2及び図3に示すように、いずれの組み合わせにおいても、良好な吸光度が得られた。
Claims (14)
- ポリフェノールと、乳酸菌と、の100℃以上で加熱された混合物を含み、
前記乳酸菌に前記ポリフェノールが付着しており、
前記ポリフェノールが付着している前記乳酸菌が黄色あるいは褐色であり、
少なくとも紫外線を吸収する、電磁波吸収剤。 - 前記ポリフェノールが付着している乳酸菌どうしが凝集している、請求項1に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記乳酸菌を0.001重量%未満の濃度で含む、請求項1又は2に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記ポリフェノールと前記乳酸菌の混合液を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記ポリフェノールと前記乳酸菌の粉体を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記ポリフェノールがクロロゲン酸を含む、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記ポリフェノールがセリ科又はキク科由来である、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記セリ科が明日葉を含む、請求項7に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記キク科がヨモギを含む、請求項7に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 前記乳酸菌が、Lactobacillus属、Lactococcus属、Enterococcus属、Pediococcus属、Leuconostoc属、Streptococcus属、及びBifidobacterium属から選択される少なくともいずれかである、請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 青色光を吸収する、請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤を備える日焼け止め剤。
- 透明部材と、
前記透明部材上に配置された、請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の電磁波吸収剤と、
を備える、光学部品。 - 請求項13に記載の光学部品をレンズとして備えるメガネ。
