Description
図1は、開示された技法が実装される例示的なネットワーク環境の概略図である。図示されたネットワーク環境は代表的なものであり、開示された技法を実装するために他の環境又はシステムが使用されてもよいことが諒解されよう。また、様々な機能は、無線アクセスノード、ユーザ機器、又はコアネットワークノードなどの単一のデバイスによって遂行されてもよく、コンピューティング環境又はワイヤレス通信環境のノードにわたって分散方式で遂行されてもよい。
上述されたように、従来の位置決め技法は、大幅な待ち時間なしに必要な精度を達成することができない場合がある。正確な位置を取得する際の遅延は、部分的には、周期的にのみ発生する可能性がある一般基準信号の送信に基づいて十分な数の測定値を取得するために必要な時間であり得る。しかしながら、移動度が増加した場合、周期的な送信に基づいて多くの測定値をコンパイルするだけでは十分でない可能性がある。オンデマンド方式でワイヤレス通信デバイスの正確で低遅延の位置決めをサポートするための技法が記載される。
いくつかの実施形態が図示され記載されたが、本明細書を読んで理解すれば、添付の特許請求の範囲内に入る均等物及び修正形態が当業者には思い浮かぶであろうことが理解される。
Claims (7)
- ワイヤレス通信デバイスによって実行される、前記ワイヤレス通信デバイスの位置決めのための方法であって、
複数のネットワークノードのうち第1のネットワークノードセットから1つ又は複数の所定の基準信号を受信するステップと、
前記1つ又は複数の所定の基準信号に対して初期位置決め測定を実行するステップと、
サービングネットワークノードに測定報告を送信するステップと、
位置決め動作のために使用可能な前記複数のネットワークノードのうち第2のネットワークノードセットの各々からのターゲット基準信号の送信のための各構成情報を前記サービングネットワークノードから受信するステップと、前記ターゲット基準信号の送信は、前記ワイヤレス通信デバイスに固有であり、
前記構成情報の各々に基づいてネットワークノードの前記第2のネットワークノードセットからそれぞれ1つ又は複数のターゲット基準信号を受信するステップと、
受信された前記1つ又は複数の基準信号に対して位置決め測定を実行するステップとを含む方法。 - 前記第1のネットワークノードセットから選択された前記第2のネットワークノードセットからの前記ターゲット基準信号の送信のために、前記サービングネットワークノードにビーム測定要求を送信するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記測定報告が、前記ワイヤレス通信デバイスが前記第1のネットワークノードセットから所定の基準信号をそれぞれ受信する際に前記サービングネットワークノードが使用する送信ビームを含み、前記送信ビームが、前記ターゲット基準信号の送信の構成を支援するために好ましいビームを示す請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ又は複数のターゲット基準信号を受信するステップが、前記第2のネットワークノードセットからの送信ビームのそれぞれのセット上で前記1つ又は複数のターゲット基準信号を受信するステップをさらに含む請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記構成情報の各々が、送信ビームの前記それぞれのセットを前記送信ビームにマッピングする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記構成情報の各々が、前記第2のネットワークノードセットによってそれぞれ送信された前記1つ又は複数のターゲット基準信号のための少なくともそれぞれのリソース情報を含む請求項1~5のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- ワイヤレス通信ネットワーク内で動作するように構成されたワイヤレス通信デバイスであって、
1つ又は複数のネットワークノードとのワイヤレス通信がそれを介して遂行されるワイヤレスインターフェース、及び、
請求項1~6のいずれか1つに記載の方法を遂行するように構成された制御回路を備えるワイヤレス通信デバイス。
