Description
内燃機関が始動した後、排気系の相対的に上流側に位置する第1の触媒および下流側に位置する第2の触媒の触媒暖機状態をそれぞれ検知ないし推定し、
これら2つの触媒の暖機が完了したと判定するまで、上記発電要求によらずに内燃機関の運転を継続する。
Claims (6)
- 発電用としてシリーズハイブリッド車に搭載され、車両側からの発電要求に応じて始動・停止が行われる内燃機関において、
内燃機関が始動した後、排気系の相対的に上流側に位置する第1の触媒および下流側に位置する第2の触媒の触媒暖機状態をそれぞれ検知ないし推定し、
これら2つの触媒の暖機が完了したと判定するまで、上記発電要求がなくなっても内燃機関を停止せずに内燃機関の運転を継続し、
ここで、
内燃機関の始動から第1の触媒の暖機が完了するまでの第1の区間では、触媒暖機のための点火時期リタードを行い、第1の触媒の暖機完了から第2の触媒が完了するまでの第2の区間では、点火時期リタードを伴わない運転を行う、
内燃機関の触媒暖機制御方法。 - 上記第2の区間では、最良燃費点付近の負荷および機関回転速度で内燃機関を運転し、上記第1の区間では、上記第2の区間よりもそれぞれ相対的に低い負荷および機関回転速度で内燃機関を運転する、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の触媒暖機制御方法。
- 第1の触媒の触媒暖機状態の推定として、内燃機関が始動してから第1の触媒に投入された熱量を演算し、この投入熱量が所定のクライテリアに達したときに、第1の触媒の暖機が完了したと判定する、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の触媒暖機制御方法。
- 内燃機関の始動時における第1の触媒の初期温度を検知ないし推定し、この初期温度に応じて上記クライテリアを設定する、請求項3に記載の内燃機関の触媒暖機制御方法。
- 第2の触媒の触媒暖機状態の推定として、第1の触媒の暖機が完了したと判定してから第2の触媒に投入された熱量を演算し、この投入熱量が所定の第2のクライテリアに達したときに、第2の触媒の暖機が完了したと判定する、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の触媒暖機制御方法。
- 排気系の相対的に上流側に位置する第1の触媒および下流側に位置する第2の触媒を有し、発電用としてシリーズハイブリッド車に搭載された内燃機関の触媒暖機制御装置であって、
車両側からの発電要求に応じて上記内燃機関の始動・停止を指令するとともに、上記第1の触媒および上記第2の触媒の触媒暖機状態をそれぞれ検知ないし推定し、これら2つの触媒の暖機が完了したと判定するまで、上記発電要求がなくなっても内燃機関を停止せずに内燃機関の運転を継続し、
ここで、
内燃機関の始動から第1の触媒の暖機が完了するまでの第1の区間では、触媒暖機のための点火時期リタードを行い、第1の触媒の暖機完了から第2の触媒が完了するまでの第2の区間では、点火時期リタードを伴わない運転を行う、
