Claims (9)
- 予め定められた長さのガイドカテーテルと共に使用するためのガイド延長カテーテルであって、
前記ガイドカテーテルを挿入可能である断面内径を有する管腔を定める細長チューブ部材と、
前記細長チューブ部材が前記ガイドカテーテルの上で押圧されることを可能にするほど十分に剛性であるプッシュ部材であって、該細長チューブ部材の近位であり、該細長チューブ部材と作動可能に接続され、かつ該細長チューブ部材よりも長手軸線に沿ってより剛性であり、該細長チューブ部材の断面外径よりも小さい最大断面寸法を有し、かつ該細長チューブ部材の長さと組み合わせた時に該ガイドカテーテルよりも長い該長手軸線に沿ったガイド延長カテーテル長さを形成するような長さを有する前記プッシュ部材と、
を含むことを特徴とするガイド延長カテーテル。 - 前記細長チューブ部材を挿入可能である断面内径を有する管腔を定める挿入器シースを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
- 前記細長チューブ部材は、該細長チューブ部材の長さに沿って、閉鎖位置に向けて付勢された長手方向スリットを含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
- 前記細長チューブ部材の前記断面内径は、調節可能であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
- 前記細長チューブ部材は、形状記憶ブレイズを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
- 前記形状記憶ブレイズは、ニチノールを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
- 前記細長チューブ部材の前記断面内径は、該断面内径が前記ガイドカテーテルの断面外径にほぼ等しくなるまで減少するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
- 前記細長チューブ部材及び前記プッシュ部材は、該細長チューブ部材及び該プッシュ部材の長さに沿って少なくとも1つの長手方向溝を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
- 前記細長チューブ部材は、該細長チューブ部材の遠位端が前記ガイドカテーテルの遠位端の遠位に延ばされる時にステント、ステントカテーテル、又はバルーンカテーテルの形態にある非観血心臓病デバイスの送出のための支持を提供することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のガイド延長カテーテル。
