Description
(課題を解決するための手段)
上記目的を達成するために、第1の発明にかかる電気融着継手は、本体部と、電熱線と、を備える。本体部は、熱可塑性樹脂を含む樹脂管と接続される。電熱線は、本体部に配置されている。電熱線は、導線と、導線の周囲に設けられた絶縁皮膜とを有する。絶縁皮膜は、融点が230度以上である。
(発明の効果)
本発明によれば、ショート(短絡)の発生を抑制して融着の強度を確保することが可能な電気融着継手を提供することができる。
(電気融着継手1の概要)
図1は、本発明の実施の形態における電気融着継手1と、電気融着継手1によって接続される第1樹脂管11と、第2樹脂管12とを示す図である。図1は、配管構造100の分解図ともいえる。配管構造100は、例えば、電気融着継手1と、第1樹脂管11と、第2樹脂管12と、を有する。
本体部2は、熱可塑性樹脂で形成されており、図2に示すように、筒状部21と、ストッパ22と、を有する。筒状部21は、筒状であって、第1接続部23と、第2接続部24と、連設部25と、を有する。第1接続部23の内側には、第1樹脂管11が挿入される。第2接続部24の内側には、第2樹脂管12が挿入される。
ストッパ22は、円環状部分である。ストッパ22は、筒状部21の内面21aに周方向Cに沿って突条に全周にわたって形成されている。ストッパ22も熱可塑性樹脂が含まれ、好ましくは本体部で用いられる熱可塑性樹脂と同一の樹脂で形成される。
ストッパ22は、筒状部21の内面21aから径方向の内側に向かって突出するように形成されている。
発熱部3は、図2に示すように筒状部21の一方の端である第1接続部23側の端21bから軸線方向Aに沿った所定の区間R1において、内面21aに埋め込まれた電熱線31を有している。電熱線31の構成については後述する。
発熱部5は、ストッパ22に設けられている。発熱部5は、電熱線51を有している。電熱線51は、軸線方向Aに沿って周方向Cに巻き回されるようにストッパ22に設けられている。電熱線51は、本実施の形態では、ストッパ22にたとえば3周巻き回されている。
コネクタ取付部6は、図2に示すように、2本のピン61を有する。2本のピン61は、筒状部21の外面21dから径方向の外側に向かって突出するように設けられている。2本のピン61のうち一方のピン61は、図2に示すように、端21bの近傍に配置され、他方のピン61は端21cの近傍に配置されている。2本のピン61は、図示していないが、発熱部3、4、5の電熱線31、41、51と接続されている。ピン61に、電気融着装置のコネクタが取り付けられ、通電が行われると、電熱線31、41、51が発熱する。
次に、本発明にかかる実施の形態の融着方法を説明する。なお、図5は、本実施の形態の融着方法を説明するためのフロー図である。
区間R1における電熱線31の発熱によって、第1接続部23の内周面および第1樹脂管11の外周面における熱可塑性樹脂が溶融して膨張する。区間R3のコールドゾーンにおいては、熱可塑性樹脂が固化してシールされ第1樹脂管11の外周面と第1接続部23の間の樹脂圧が高まる。このように、第1接続部23の内周面および第1樹脂管11の外周面が融着され、高い融着強度が発現する。

本実施の形態の電気融着継手1は、本体部2と、電熱線51と、を備える。本体部2は、熱可塑性樹脂を含む第1樹脂管11および第2樹脂管12と接続される。電熱線51は、本体部2に配置されている。電熱線51は、導線71と、導線71の周囲に設けられた絶縁皮膜72とを有する。絶縁皮膜72は、融点が230度以上である。
本実施の形態の電気融着継手1では、電熱線51は、絶縁皮膜72の周囲に設けられた外層部73を更に有する。外層部73は、ポリオレフィン系樹脂で形成されている。
本実施の形態の電気融着継手1では、絶縁皮膜72は、ポリイミド系樹脂で形成されている。
本実施の形態の電気融着継手1では、本体部2は、筒状部21と、ストッパ22と、を有する。筒状部21は、第1樹脂管11の外側に配置され第1樹脂管11と接続される第1接続部23(接続部の一例)を有する。筒状部21は、第2樹脂管12の外側に配置され第2樹脂管12と接続される第2接続部24(接続部の一例)を有する。ストッパ22は、筒状部21の表面から突出するように形成され、第1樹脂管11の管端11a(端の一例)の位置および第2樹脂管12の管端12a(端の一例)の位置を規制可能である。
本実施の形態の電気融着継手1では、第1接続部23の内側には、第1樹脂管11が挿入可能である。第2接続部24の内側には、第2樹脂管12が挿入可能である。ストッパ22は、筒状部21の内面21aに突出するように形成され、第1接続部23の内側に第1樹脂管11が挿入された際に挿入位置を規制可能であり、第2接続部24の内側に第2樹脂管12が挿入された際に挿入位置を規制可能である。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。
上記実施の形態では、第1樹脂管11の管端11aと第2樹脂管12の管端12aをストッパ22に押圧しているが、押圧しなくてもよい。ただし、施工時間を短くできるため、押圧する方がより好ましい。
上記実施の形態では、ストッパ22は、筒状部21の内面21aから径方向内側に向かって突出するように形成されているが、これに限らなくても良い。例えば、図9に示すように、ストッパ22´が筒状部21´の外面から径方向外側に向かって突出するように形成された電気融着継手1´であってもよい。
上記実施の形態では、軸線方向Aに沿って視た場合、ストッパ22の外径は円形状であるが、円に限らなくても良く、一部が面取りされていても良いし、多角形状であってもよい。
上記実施の形態では、電気融着継手1、1´の流路はいずれも直線状に形成されているが、流路が曲がっているエルボ継手であってもよい。
上記実施の形態では、発熱部3、4、5の電熱線31、41、51に同じものを使用しているため、すべての電熱線31、41、51に絶縁皮膜72が設けられているが、これに限らなくてもよい。しかしながら、少なくとも電熱線51に絶縁皮膜72が設けられているほうが好ましい。これは、第1樹脂管11および第2樹脂管12によって加圧される場合があり、電熱線51同士が接触しやすいためである。

- 熱可塑性樹脂を含む樹脂管と接続される本体部と、
前記本体部に配置された電熱線と、を備え、
前記電熱線は、導線と、前記導線の周囲に設けられた絶縁皮膜とを有し、
前記絶縁皮膜は、融点が230度以上であり、
前記本体部は、
前記樹脂管の内側または外側に配置され前記樹脂管と接続される接続部を有する筒状部と、
前記筒状部の表面から突出するように形成され、前記樹脂管の端の位置を規制可能なストッパと、を有し、
前記電熱線は、前記筒状部の軸方向に沿って前記ストッパに複数回巻き回されて配置されており、
前記接続部の内側には、前記樹脂管が挿入可能であり、
前記ストッパは、前記筒状部の内面に突出するように形成され、前記接続部の内側に前記樹脂管が挿入された際に挿入位置を規制し、
前記ストッパの突出高さは、前記樹脂管を挿入した状態における前記樹脂管の内周面よりも低い、
電気融着継手。 - 前記電熱線は、前記絶縁皮膜の周囲に設けられた外層部を更に有し、
前記外層部は、ポリオレフィン系樹脂で形成されている、
請求項1に記載の電気融着継手。 - 前記絶縁皮膜は、ポリイミド系樹脂で形成されている、
請求項1または2に記載の電気融着継手。 - 熱可塑性樹脂を含む樹脂管と接続される本体部と、
前記本体部に配置された電熱線と、を備え、
前記電熱線は、導線と、前記導線の周囲に設けられた絶縁皮膜とを有し、
前記絶縁皮膜は、前記本体部の融点よりも、融点が高く、
前記本体部は、
前記樹脂管の内側または外側に配置され前記樹脂管と接続される接続部を有する筒状部と、
前記筒状部の表面から突出するように形成され、前記樹脂管の端の位置を規制可能なストッパと、を有し、
前記電熱線は、前記筒状部の軸方向に沿って前記ストッパに複数回巻き回されて配置されており、
前記接続部の内側には、前記樹脂管が挿入可能であり、
前記ストッパは、前記筒状部の内面に突出するように形成され、前記接続部の内側に前記樹脂管が挿入された際に挿入位置を規制し、
前記ストッパの突出高さは、前記樹脂管を挿入した状態における前記樹脂管の内周面よりも低い、
電気融着継手。 - 請求項1に記載の電気融着継手と、前記樹脂管とを接続する接続方法であって、
前記電気融着継手の前記接続部に前記樹脂管を挿入する挿入工程と、
前記ストッパに前記樹脂管の端を押圧しながら前記電熱線に通電する加熱工程と、を備えた、接続方法。 - 請求項4に記載の電気融着継手と、前記樹脂管とを接続する接続方法であって、
前記電気融着継手の前記接続部に前記樹脂管を挿入する挿入工程と、
前記ストッパに前記樹脂管の端を押圧しながら前記電熱線に通電する加熱工程と、を備えた、接続方法。
