接着剤組成物は、多種多様な目的に有用である。例えば、接着剤組成物は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、金属、メタライズ、紙、またはセロハンなどの基材を一緒に接合させて、複合フィルム、すなわち、積層体を形成するために使用される。異なる最終使用用途における接着剤の使用は一般に知られている。例えば、接着剤は、包装産業において、特に食品包装のために使用されるフィルム/フィルムおよびフィルム/ホイル積層体の製造に使用することができる。積層用途で使用される接着剤、すなわち「積層接着剤」は、一般に、溶剤ベース、水ベース、および無溶剤の3つのカテゴリーに分類することができる。接着剤の性能は、カテゴリーによって、また接着剤が塗布される用途によって変わる。

いくつかの実施形態では、非アミン開始ポリオールは、任意に、接着剤組成物中、例えばポリオール成分中に含まれ得る。非アミン開始ポリオールの例としては、ポリエステルポリオール、ポリエーテルポリオール、ポリカーボネートポリオール、ポリアクリレートポリオール、ポリカプロラクトンポリオール、ポリオレフィンポリオール、天然油ポリオール、およびこれらの2つ以上の組み合わせが含まれるが、これらに限定されない。好ましくは、非アミン開始ポリオールは、ASTM D2196の方法で測定して、25℃で30~40,000mPa・s、または50~30,000mPa・s、または70~20,000mPa・sの粘度を有する。好ましくは、非アミン開始ポリオールは、ASTM D2196の方法によって測定して、25℃で100~10,000mPa・sの粘度を有する。
開示された無溶剤接着剤組成物のイソシアネート成分およびポリオール成分は、別々に配合され、望ましくは、それがラミネート構造を形成するまで貯蔵されることが企図される。好ましくは、イソシアネート成分およびポリオール成分は、25℃で液体状態である。成分が25℃で固体であっても、必要に応じて成分を加熱して液体状態にすることが可能である。接着剤組成物のポットライフが硬化プロセスから切り離されるので、成分は無期限に保存することができる。

シリコーン系添加剤と、を含む、二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
イソシアネートを含むイソシアネート成分と、
ポリオール成分であって、
2つ以上の第一級ヒドロキシル基、および第三級アミンを組み込んだ主鎖を含むアミン開始ポリオールを含み、アミン開始ポリオールが、2~12の官能価、5~1,830のヒドロキシル価、および40℃で500~20,000mPa・sの粘度を含む、ポリオール成分と、
消泡剤と、を含む、二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。

ポリオール成分であって、

湿潤剤と、を含む、二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
第1の基材への塗布に適合し、イソシアネートを含むイソシアネート成分と、
第2の基材への塗布に適合し、
第一級ヒドロキシル基および第三級アミンを組み込んだ主鎖を含むアミン開始ポリオールを含むポリオール成分と、
シリコーン系添加剤と、を含む、二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
任意の先行または後続の実施形態に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物と、
金属ホイル基材を含む基材と、を含む、積層構造体。
任意の先行または後続の実施形態に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物と、
金属被覆ポリマーフィルムを含む基材と、を含む、積層構造体。
Claims (10)
- 二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物であって、
イソシアネートを含むイソシアネート成分と、
ポリオール成分であって、
2つ以上の第一級ヒドロキシル基、および第三級アミンを組み込んだ主鎖を含むアミン開始ポリオールを含み、前記アミン開始ポリオールが、2~12の官能価、5~1,830のヒドロキシル価、および25℃で500~20,000mPa・sの粘度を有する、ポリオール成分と、
前記ポリオール成分の重量に基づく重量基準で、0.05~0.5重量%のシリコーン系添加剤と、を含む、二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。 - 前記シリコーン系添加剤が、消泡剤である、請求項1に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
- 前記消泡剤が、最大100重量パーセントのシリコーンを含む、請求項2に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
- 前記シリコーン系添加剤が、湿潤剤である、請求項1に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
- 前記湿潤剤が、ポリエーテル変性ポリジメチルシロキサンを含む、請求項4に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
- 前記シリコーン系添加剤が、消泡剤、湿潤剤、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
- 前記アミン開始ポリオールが、構造Iを有し、
式中、R1、R2、およびR3は、独立して、直鎖または分枝鎖のアルキル基である、請求項1に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。 - イソシアネート成分対ポリオール成分の重量比が、0.5:1~1.5:1である、請求項1に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物を含む積層構造体。
- 金属またはメタライズ基材をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の積層構造体。
