Description
The present invention relates to a scale thickness measuring apparatus and a scale thickness measuring method for measuring the thickness of scales deposited in multiple layers on the inner surface of a metal pipe such as a heat transfer pipe.
A power plant using a boiler and a steam turbine is known. Due to the water supply to the boiler that is used to flow through the heat transfer tubes of the boiler, corrosion occurs in the heat transfer tubes of the boiler, system piping, and in the steam supply system to the steam turbine, scale formation and adhesion, carryover to the steam turbine, etc. In order to prevent damage to the water supply, water treatment is being carried out. For example, oxygen treatment is used as such water treatment. Oxygen treatment prevents subsequent corrosion of the steel material of the system piping and corrosion products from entering the water by adhering and appropriately retaining the refractory oxides on the surface of the steel material of the system piping in high-purity water. This is based on the idea that elution can be suppressed. As one of these treatment methods, a combined water treatment (CWT: Combined Water Treatment, or OT: Oxygenated Feed-Water Treatment) in which dissolved oxygen coexists by making water weakly alkaline by adding ammonia is called. be.
In a plant to which CWT is applied, the rate of scale growth is suppressed in the system piping, and since the hematite (Fe 2 O 3 ) that is produced and becomes scale has a low solubility, iron elution from the system piping is reduced. On the other hand, due to long-term operation of the boiler, there are cases in which the amount of iron brought into the boiler from the system pipes increases and the hematite scale adheres to the hard scale formed on the inner surface of the boiler furnace wall tube. Hematite scale is called powder scale because it has a small particle size and a porous shape with low thermal conductivity. When it adheres to the inside of the heat transfer tubes on the boiler furnace wall, it is a factor that increases the metal temperature of the furnace wall evaporator tube. It's becoming
The main component of the powder scale is hematite, which is adhered with iron in feedwater transported from, for example, the drain system of a feedwater heater. On the other hand, the main component of hard scale is magnetite (Fe 3 O 4 ), which is due to self-oxidation of base materials such as heat transfer tubes, and has a dense structure.
When evaluating the scale adhering to the inner surface of heat transfer tubes such as boiler furnace wall evaporator tubes, the amount of material that can be removed by applying ultrasonic waves is sometimes measured as the amount of powder scale adherence, but accurate quantification is difficult. is. In addition, it is difficult to use acid dissolution to evaluate the amount of adhered powder scale at the boiler installation site due to restrictions on location and time.
Another method is to remove a part of the heat transfer tube, bring it to an analysis room, process it as a test piece, embed it in resin with the scale attached, and cut it diagonally to create a cut surface for observation. In some cases, the thickness of the multi-layered scale is evaluated by observing the cut surface with a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Accurate thickness measurement is difficult.
In addition, the SEM has a narrow observation range and may not be suitable as a representative point for observation of deposits, making it difficult to grasp the state of adhesion over a wide range.
As described above, the conventional method lacks accuracy in evaluating the amount of powder scale adhered, and the inspection period is prolonged, leading to a prolonged periodic inspection period, which is likely to cause economic disadvantages. There is
For example, in evaluating the thickness of an adhesion layer, there is a method in which electrodes are moved and the change in electrical resistance between the electrodes is measured. Patent Document 1 listed below discloses an invention in which a movable electrode is moved with respect to an oxidized portion and a non-oxidized portion of a conductive refractory to measure the thickness of the oxidized portion.
However, the invention described in Patent Document 1 does not target powder scale such as hematite scale, which is fragile and prone to shape collapse, and it is difficult to perform accurate measurement using a similar method.
In addition, if the deposit is not brittle, it is necessary to insert the movable electrode in the film thickness direction while controlling the positioning accuracy of the movable electrode to the μm order in order to measure the thickness of the deposit layer. Sometimes, if the impedance is of the order of magnitude, it is possible to estimate the thickness of the deposit. In other words, by measuring the electrical resistance of the deposit layer based on the spatial position of the movable electrode and the movable electrode at that time, without obtaining an accurate electrical resistance value of the deposit layer, the tip of the movable electrode can be found on which part of the layer. By determining whether the position is reached, the thickness of the layer can be estimated. In general, in order to accurately grasp the boundary part of the layer, it is necessary to judge by superimposing multiple data, but it is not easy to measure multiple data in a short time. It was limited to estimating approximate values.
Furthermore, when obtaining the scale thickness of a boiler heat transfer tube, etc., it is necessary to perform a large number of measurements at multiple points in the heat transfer tube or for each heat transfer tube. Therefore, it is desirable that each measurement be completed in a short time.
Furthermore, in order to reduce the error in the measurement voltage during measurement, it is desirable that there is a value of a certain order (at least in units of mV).
Since there is a relationship of measured voltage during needle diagnosis=measured resistance×passing current, the measuring voltage for passing current needs to be a value of the order (mA unit for 1Ω) in consideration of error and accuracy. Furthermore, considering the internal resistance and the resistance loss of the measurement system, an excessively large current value may lead to changes in the internal resistance of the measurement system due to heat generation, increasing the error. In addition, when the passing current is increased more than necessary, the applied voltage also increases, so it is necessary to take measures against electric shock to the operator.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and is capable of simply and accurately measuring the thickness of a scale layer consisting of a plurality of layers adhering to the inner surface of a heat transfer tube of a boiler. An object of the present invention is to provide a measuring device and a scale thickness measuring method.
In order to solve the above problems, the scale thickness measuring device and the scale thickness measuring method of the present invention employ the following means.
That is, the scale thickness measuring device according to the present invention is a scale thickness measuring device for measuring the thickness of a scale layer consisting of a plurality of layers adhered to the inner surface of a heat transfer tube in which boiler water flows. A main body that can be installed, a reference electrode that can be electrically connected to the heat transfer tube, and a computer. a probe; advancing/retracting means for advancing/retracting the probe in a direction perpendicular to the inner surface of the heat transfer tube; advancing/retracting amount measuring unit for measuring the amount of advance/retreat of the probe; and an electrical resistance measuring unit that calculates an electrical resistance value from the potential difference, the computer performs data processing based on the advance/retreat amount and the electrical resistance value, and performs data processing on the basis of the advance/retreat amount and the amount of change in the electrical resistance value , the thickness of each multiple layer of the scale layer is calculated.
A probe is inserted into the scale layer and the amount of movement of the probe is calculated. Then, the electrical resistance is calculated from the potential difference between the probe and the reference electrode. In this way, the amount of advancement and retraction of the probe and the electric resistance value and/or resistivity are calculated by piercing the probe, so that the thickness of each layer can be accurately measured.
Further, in the scale thickness measuring apparatus of the present invention, the scale layer has a first layer and a second layer from the inner surface side of the heat transfer tube to the surface side thereof, and the first layer and the second layer differ by more than one order of magnitude in resistivity.
Since the resistivity of the first layer and the second layer differs by one digit or more, the position of the interface between the first layer and the second layer can be easily determined from the electrical resistance value and/or the resistivity. can be measured.
Furthermore, in the scale thickness measuring device of the present invention, the first layer includes a magnetite layer, and the second layer includes a hematite layer that is softer than the first layer.
A heat transfer tube, which is installed facing a boiler furnace and through which boiler water flows, has a hard magnetite layer adhered to the inner surface through which the boiler water flows, and a soft hematite layer adheres thereon. According to the scale thickness measuring device described above, the change in electrical resistance and/or the change in resistivity is calculated from the electrical resistance and the distance from the metal surface, and the thicknesses of the magnetite layer and the hematite layer are accurately determined. Obtainable.
Further, in the scale thickness measuring device of the present invention, the main body includes slide means for sliding in the longitudinal direction of the heat transfer tube, and the slide means extends in the longitudinal direction and is fixed to the heat transfer tube. Move along rails.
By sliding the probe along the rail, the probe can be slid precisely and moved in the longitudinal direction of the heat transfer tube. Also, if the rail is made of a conductive material and attached to a member that has the same potential as the metal surface, the reference voltage during measurement can be obtained from the rail.
Further, in the scale thickness measuring apparatus of the present invention, the controller determines the scale layer from the amount of change in the electrical resistance value and/or the amount of change in the resistivity with respect to the advance/retreat amount of the probe obtained by the controller. Calculate the thickness of each multiple layer.
The tip of the reference electrode is at the same distance as the tip of the probe with respect to the surface of the heat transfer tube, and serves as a reference probe that can move back and forth together with the probe.
As the reference electrode, it is possible to use a probe whose tip is at the same distance from the surface of the heat transfer tube and a reference probe that can move back and forth. By shortening the distance between the tip of the reference electrode and the tip of the probe, the electrical resistance value and/or resistivity can be measured with high accuracy.
Further, in the scale thickness measuring apparatus of the present invention, a constant current source for applying a constant current and a voltage measuring circuit are provided between the reference probe and the probe, and the computer controls the voltage measuring circuit to From the obtained voltage measurement value between the reference probe and the probe, the advance/retreat amount of the probe and the electric resistance value are calculated.
Further, the scale thickness measuring apparatus of the present invention includes a contact pressure measuring unit that measures the contact pressure applied to the probe, and when the contact pressure measured by the contact pressure measuring unit exceeds a threshold value, and/or When the electric resistance value is close to zero, the advance/retreat of the probe by the advancing/retreating means is stopped.
Further, in the scale thickness measuring apparatus of the present invention, the computer calculates the above-described Calculate the thickness of each multiple layer of the scale layer.
Further, the scale thickness measuring method of the present invention is a scale thickness measuring method for measuring the thickness of a scale layer consisting of a plurality of layers adhered to the inner surface of a heat transfer tube in which boiler water flows, wherein a probe is used. The probe is advanced and retreated in a direction orthogonal to the inner surface of the heat transfer tube, the amount of advance and retreat of the probe is measured, and the electric resistance value is obtained from the potential difference between the reference probe electrically connected to the heat transfer tube and the probe. is calculated, data processing is performed based on the advance/retreat amount and the electrical resistance value , and the thickness of each of the multiple layers of the scale layer is calculated from the advance/retreat amount and the amount of change in the electrical resistance value.
Further, in the scale thickness measuring method of the present invention, the probe is moved along a rail extending in the longitudinal direction of the heat transfer tube and fixed to the heat transfer tube.
It is possible to simply and accurately measure the thickness of a multi-layered scale layer adhering to the inner surface of a boiler heat transfer tube or the like.

EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Below, embodiment concerning this invention is described with reference to drawings.
[First embodiment]
A first embodiment of the present invention will be described below.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic configuration of a boiler power plant 1 to which the scale thickness measuring device and scale thickness measuring method according to the present embodiment are applied.

As shown in FIG. 4 , the

Next, a method of using the scale
The operator installs the

The position of the tip of the
Then, according to a command from the

FIG. 9 shows measurement results at a predetermined running position. In the figure, the horizontal axis indicates the insertion depth, which is the advance and retreat amount of the tip of the
When the tip of the
As the tip of the
Then, when the insertion depth of the tip of the
When the depth is slightly deeper than the second depth t2, the electrical resistance value abruptly decreases to the third electrical resistance value R3. This is considered to be the measurement of the electrical resistance value (for example, resistivity: ρ3: 0.001 mΩm to 0.1 mΩm) of the

As the depth gradually increases from the second depth t2, the electrical resistance value indicated by the tip of the
When the depth is slightly deeper than the second depth t2 and reaches the third depth t3, the electrical resistance value suddenly drops to about 0.1Ω or less (for example, resistivity: ρ4: 10nΩm to 1000nΩm (carbon steel or low chromium alloy In the case of steel), the electric resistance value is almost zero, and it is determined that the tip of the
When the electric resistance value becomes almost zero, it is desirable to immediately stop the advancement of the
As described above, by measuring the position of the tip of the
According to this embodiment, the following effects are obtained.

[Second embodiment]
Next, a second embodiment of the invention will be described.
In the first embodiment described above, the scale

Next, a third embodiment of the invention will be described.
In the third embodiment, the
As shown in FIG. 10, adjacent to the
