Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a surface treatment apparatus used for forming a highly anticorrosive film on the surface of a light metal such as an aluminum alloy.
In recent years, as a surface treatment technique for forming a film with a high anticorrosive effect on the surface of the object to be treated, for example, the surface of the aluminum alloy, which is a light metal, a technique has been developed in which the aluminum alloy is exposed to water vapor at high pressure and medium to high temperatures (1 to 3 MPa and 100 to 200° C. or more).
Conventionally, in this surface treatment, as a surface treatment apparatus used for exposing an aluminum alloy to high-pressure, medium- and high-temperature steam, there is, for example, the one described in Patent Document 1.
This surface treatment apparatus is a so-called autoclave, and includes a chamber that is a pressure vessel, an alloy flake holding part that suspends and holds a plurality of aluminum alloy flakes to be treated in the chamber, and a treatment steam generator that generates high-pressure, medium-high temperature treatment steam.
Either an indirect heating system or a direct heating system is employed in the processing vapor generation unit of this surface treatment apparatus. The indirect heating method is a method in which a heater placed outside the chamber is energized to heat the pure water injected into the lower part of the chamber through the outer shell of the chamber. On the other hand, the direct heating method is a method in which a heater placed outside the chamber is energized and the pure water in the lower part of the chamber is directly heated by the heating part of the heater located inside the chamber.
When forming a film on the surface of an aluminum alloy flake using this surface treatment apparatus, when an indirect heating method is adopted as a treatment steam generator, a plurality of aluminum alloy flakes are suspended and set in the alloy flake holder, and then the heater outside the chamber is energized to heat the pure water in the lower part of the chamber via the outer shell of the chamber, thereby generating treatment steam in the chamber.
In addition, when the direct heating method is adopted as the processing steam generation unit, similarly, after a plurality of aluminum alloy flakes are suspended and set in the alloy flake holding unit, the heater outside the chamber is energized, and the pure water in the lower part of the chamber is directly heated by the heating unit located in the chamber, thereby generating the processing vapor in the chamber.
However, in the above-described conventional surface treatment apparatus, when the treatment vapor generation unit is of the indirect heating method, the treatment vapor is generated by energizing the heater outside the chamber, so that it takes time to raise the temperature inside the chamber by the amount of heating from outside the chamber.
In the above-described conventional surface treatment apparatus, not only when the treatment steam generating unit is of the indirect heating method but also of the direct heating method, the treatment steam is generated in the chamber. Therefore, as described above, it takes a long time to obtain a treatment steam atmosphere sufficient for performing the surface treatment.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-described conventional problems. For example, when forming a film on the surface of a light metal such as an aluminum alloy, it is an object of the present invention to provide a surface treatment apparatus that can shorten the processing time and, in addition, can easily control the amount of treatment steam generated and can perform precise temperature control, so that it is possible to form a high-quality film.

<Embodiment 1>
<Overview>
The present embodiment is mainly characterized in that a processing steam generator is arranged outside the chamber, which is a pressure vessel, the processing steam generated in the processing steam generating unit is introduced into the chamber by the processing steam introduction unit, and the introduction of the processing steam is controlled by the processing steam introduction control unit.
<構成>
When this surface treatment apparatus is used to form a film on the surface of a light metal such as an aluminum alloy, it is possible to shorten the treatment time and form a high-quality film.
<Configuration>
That is, as shown in FIG. 1A, the
The
The treated
In this case, a
The
In this case, the
The
On the other hand, the
The processing
As the plate drive mechanism, a drive mechanism using a chain using a motor as a drive source, a rack-and-pinion drive mechanism, or a push-pull drive mechanism using a cylinder as a drive source can be employed.
Further, the
A condensed
That is, the
Furthermore, the
The treatment of immersing the test piece W in water is a treatment performed prior to exposing the test piece W made of an aluminum alloy to high-pressure medium-high temperature saturated steam. This immersion treatment is based on the findings of the present inventors who have conducted extensive research to form a coating with a high anticorrosive effect on the surface of light metals.
That is, in the
In the present embodiment, the plurality of test pieces W held by the holding
In the
<Process flow>
When forming a film on the surface of a test piece W made of an aluminum alloy using this
At this time, if the test pieces to be subjected to the surface treatment are small and numerous in number, these small test pieces are placed in a container covered with an insulating material or similar material and subjected to the surface treatment.
Next, the lid (not shown) of the
Subsequently, water is introduced into the
Then, while the holding
After this immersion treatment, a command from the
Saturated steam supplied from the
At this time, the
This surface treatment is performed in a predetermined water vapor atmosphere in the
During this surface treatment, when the
Similarly to this temperature control, the
Also, during this surface treatment, condensed water of saturated steam accumulated in the bottom of the
Then, when a predetermined time has elapsed, the supply of saturated steam to the
In the
In addition, in the
Furthermore, in the
Furthermore, in the
Furthermore, in the
<効果>
Conversely, when the surface treatment is performed for approximately the same time as when the immersion treatment is not performed, a thicker and higher quality film can be formed.
<effect>
<概要>
According to the present embodiment, in forming a coating on the surface of a test piece W made of an aluminum alloy, in addition to being able to shorten the processing time, it is possible to easily control the amount of saturated steam generated and precisely control the temperature.
<Embodiment 2>
<Overview>
<構成>
This embodiment is based on the first embodiment, and is characterized in that saturated steam of about 100° C. introduced into the chamber is heated, and superheated steam of over 200° C. generated thereby is introduced into the chamber.
By further heating the saturated steam introduced into the chamber to obtain superheated steam in this way, it is possible to further shorten the treatment time and form a higher quality film.
<Configuration>
