Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle operation detection device.
In the capacitance detection device disclosed in
When the capacitance detection device of
A vehicle operation detection device for solving the above problems includes a sensor electrode whose capacitance increases as the distance from a detection target decreases, and an opening and closing body of the vehicle that responds to changes in the capacitance of the sensor electrode. an output unit that outputs an output signal related to opening and closing; a first detection unit that repeatedly detects the capacitance of the sensor electrode and outputs it as a first detection signal over time; A vehicle operation detection device comprising: a second detection section that repeatedly detects a second detection signal at a timing different from the first detection section and outputs a second detection signal over time, wherein the detection by the first detection section and the second detection are performed. the output unit sequentially adds or sequentially multiplies the first detection signal and the second detection signal that are alternately input at different timings to generate a synthesized signal; The output signal is output using the change in the combined signal as the change in the capacitance of the sensor electrode.
If the change in the first detection signal or the change in the second detection signal is caused by the passage of raindrops or the like, the period of change is expected to be short. Therefore, there is a high probability that the first detection signal and the second detection signal change at different timings. Therefore, in the combined signal, the variation amounts are less likely to be superimposed. On the other hand, if the change in the first detection signal and the second detection signal is the change in capacitance according to the contact and separation of the object to be detected, the changing period is expected to be correspondingly long. Therefore, the period during which the first detection signal is changing and the period during which the second detection signal is changing partially overlap. Therefore, the amounts of change are superimposed on each other in the combined signal. In this way, the amount of change in the signal due to the passage of raindrops or the like is not superimposed, but the amount of change in the signal according to the contact and separation of the object to be detected is superimposed. can be properly separated.
In the vehicle operation detection device, a plurality of the sensor electrodes are arranged in parallel, and the output section is a first sensor electrode in which the value of the combined signal for one of the adjacent sensor electrodes is predetermined. When the value of the combined signal for the other sensor electrode becomes equal to or greater than the first specified capacitance value within a predetermined first specified time from the state of the specified capacitance value or more, A first output signal may be output.
When attempting to detect the movement of a detection target using a plurality of sensor electrodes, the period during which the capacitance changes is expected to be short and the amount of change is small. In the case of detecting the movement of the detection target in this way, it is particularly preferable to separate the change in capacitance that is originally desired to be extracted from the noise using the composite signal described above.
In the vehicular operation detection device, the output unit multiplies the first detection signal and the second detection signal to generate a composite signal, and outputs the signal for one of the adjacent sensor electrodes. When the value of the combined signal for the other sensor electrode becomes equal to or greater than the first specified capacitance value within the first specified time after the value of the combined signal becomes equal to or greater than the first specified capacitance value, The first output signal relating to opening/closing of the opening/closing body may be output.
When the combined signal is generated by multiplying the first detection signal and the second detection signal, if the period during which the first detection signal changes and the period during which the second detection signal changes overlap, The amount of change in the synthesized signal is considerably large. Therefore, when trying to detect the movement of a detection target using a plurality of sensor electrodes, using such a composite signal is suitable for separating small changes in capacitance from noise.
In the vehicle operation detection device, for at least one of the first detection signal and the second detection signal, frequency components outside a specified frequency range are blocked, and frequency components within the specified frequency range are output as a filtered signal. A band-pass filter is provided, and the output unit maintains a state in which the value of the filtered signal for any of the sensor electrodes is equal to or greater than a predetermined second specified capacitance value for a predetermined second specified time or longer. case, a second output signal relating to opening and closing of the opening/closing body may be output.
According to the above configuration, it is determined based on the post-filtering signal output from the bandpass filter, not the combined signal, that the change in capacitance continues for a suitable period of time equal to or longer than the second specified time. In this way, by selectively using the synthesized signal or the filtered signal according to how the capacitance changes to be detected, noise can be separated more accurately.
In the vehicle operation detection device, the output section averages the first detection signal and the second detection signal to generate an average signal, and the value of the average signal for any one of the sensor electrodes is predetermined. outputting a third output signal relating to the opening and closing of the opening/closing member when the state of being equal to or greater than a third specified capacitance value continues for a third specified time or longer that is shorter than the second specified time. good too.
According to the above configuration, the first detection signal and the second detection signal, not the filtered signal, indicate that the change in capacitance continues for a period shorter than the second specified time, which is equal to or longer than the third specified time. is determined based on the averaged signal. In this way, by selectively using either the filtered signal or the average signal depending on how the capacitance changes to be detected, noise can be separated more accurately.
A vehicular operation detection device for solving the above problems includes a pair of sensor electrodes whose capacitance increases as the distance to a detection target decreases; and a first detection unit that repeatedly detects the capacitance of one of the pair of sensor electrodes and outputs it as a first detection signal over time. and a second detection unit that repeatedly detects the capacitance of the other sensor electrode of the pair of sensor electrodes and outputs it as a second detection signal over time, wherein the Detection by the first detection unit and detection by the second detection unit are detected at the same timing, and the output unit sequentially adds the first detection signal and the second detection signal input at the same timing. Alternatively, a synthetic signal is generated by successive multiplication, and the output signal is output as a change in the synthetic signal as a change in capacitance of the pair of sensor electrodes.
Since the pair of sensor electrodes are arranged at separate positions, it is unlikely that both of them will simultaneously detect the passage of, for example, raindrops. Therefore, if the change in the first detection signal or the change in the second detection signal is caused by the passage of raindrops or the like, there is a high probability that even if one of the first detection signal and the second detection signal changes, the other does not change. . Therefore, in the combined signal, the variation amounts are less likely to be superimposed. On the other hand, since the pair of sensor electrodes simultaneously detects the contact/separation of the object to be detected with a corresponding magnitude, the change in the first detection signal and the second detection signal is an electrostatic discharge corresponding to the contact/separation of the object to be detected. In the case of capacitance change, the first detection signal and the second detection signal are expected to change simultaneously. Therefore, the amounts of change are superimposed on each other in the combined signal. In this way, the amount of change in the signal due to the passage of raindrops or the like is not superimposed, but the amount of change in the signal according to the contact and separation of the object to be detected is superimposed. can be properly separated.
According to the present invention, it is possible to appropriately separate changes in capacitance that are originally intended to be extracted from noise.

As shown in FIG. 3 , the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the
As shown in FIG. 3, the

The first detection circuit 34b detects and outputs a signal related to the capacitance of the
The
The
The
The
The
The
When the value of the filtered signal F1 related to the
When the
The
In the
The
Next, the opening process performed by the
As shown in FIG. 6, when the

In step S20, the
In step S30, the
If the determination is YES when the process of step S10 is executed again, that is, if the user's hand gesture is continuously detected, the
On the other hand, while the
In step S<b>40 , the
In step S50, the
In step S60, the

In step S70, the
In step S80, the
In step S90, the

In step S110, the
In step S120, the

In step S<b>130 , the

As shown in FIG. 7, when the

In step S230, the

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described.
As shown in FIG. 5, when the user holds the hand over the
After that, when the user stops holding the hand over the
It should be noted that the time for which the user holds his/her hand over the
Now, it is assumed that the opening operation is detected at time t3 as described above and the
Next, the effects of this embodiment will be described.
(1) In the authentication operation, the change in capacitance occurs over a relatively long period of time compared to the open operation and the stop operation. In the above configuration, the authentication operation is detected using the filtered signal F1 obtained by applying a low-pass filter to the first detection signal A1 relating to the
Here, the passage of raindrops can be cited as a factor of noise included in the change in capacitance over time. The lower limit of the frequency associated with the change in capacitance associated with the passage of raindrops is determined to some extent. By applying a low-pass filter with the lower limit value set to the cut-off specified number in this way, it is possible to reliably remove the change in capacitance that accompanies the passage of raindrops. In this way, by intentionally removing a specific fluctuation component, it is possible to appropriately separate the change in capacitance accompanying the authentication operation from the noise.
(2) When the user's hand moves like an opening operation, the change in capacitance is relatively small. Therefore, it is very difficult to separate and detect the change in capacitance accompanying the motion of the object to be detected from the noise.
In the above configuration, the opening operation is detected using the multiplication synthesized signal obtained by multiplying the first detection signal and the second detection signal. Here, if the change in the first detection signal or the change in the second detection signal is caused by the passage of raindrops or the like, the period of change is expected to be short. Therefore, there is a high probability that the variation detected at the first timing tm1 at which the first detection signal is input is not detected at the second timing tm2 at which the second detection signal is input. are unlikely to be superimposed on each other. On the other hand, if the change in the first detection signal and the second detection signal is a change in capacitance in response to the user's hand motion, the changing period is expected to be correspondingly long. Therefore, the variation detected at the first timing tm1 at which the first detection signal is input is highly likely to be detected at the second timing tm2 at which the second detection signal is input. The detection signal and the period during which it changes partially overlap. Therefore, the amounts of change are superimposed on each other in the multiplication combined signal. Moreover, since the multiplication synthesized signal is obtained by multiplying the first detection signal and the second detection signal, the degree of change in the multiplication synthesis signal according to the user's hand motion is considerably large. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, the value of the multiplied combined signal P2 relating to the
(3) When the user's hand remains stationary for a relatively short period of time, such as during a stop operation, it is preferable to detect the change in capacitance in response to the approach of the user's hand from the earliest possible timing. The reason for this is that if it is delayed to capture the change in the capacitance, the first detection signal or the first 2 In the change over time of the detection signal, a situation occurs in which the capacitance becomes lower than the specified value before the state in which the capacitance exceeds the specified specified value continues for a specified time. As a result, it may be erroneously determined that the state in which the capacitance has changed has not continued for a specified time. In order to detect the change in capacitance according to the approach of the user's hand at the earliest possible timing, it is preferable to appropriately detect the change in capacitance while suppressing noise as much as possible. Therefore, it is conceivable to apply a low-pass filter to the first detection signal and the second detection signal. However, when a low-pass filter is applied, as indicated by the two-dot chain line Q2a in FIG. 5, the rise when the capacitance starts to change and the fall when the change ends becomes gradual. In this case, after the capacitance actually starts to change in response to the approach of the user's hand, it takes a considerable amount of time for the capacitance value to which the low-pass filter is applied to exceed the third specified capacitance value C3. , there is a delay before it begins to determine that the capacitance has changed.
In this regard, in the above configuration, the stop operation is detected using the average signal Q2 regarding the
(4) In the above configuration, signals calculated by applying different methods, such as the filtered signal, the multiplication synthesized signal, and the average signal, are selectively used according to how the capacitance changes. That is, the optimum signal for distinguishing the change in capacitance according to each operation from noise is applied in consideration of the characteristics of the change in capacitance according to each operation. Such proper use allows the change in capacitance according to each operation to be separated from noise and detected with high accuracy.

The
In the above configuration using a pair of sensor electrodes, since the pair of sensor electrodes are arranged at different positions, it is difficult to imagine that both of them will simultaneously detect the movement of a small object such as raindrops. Therefore, if the change in the first detection signal or the change in the second detection signal is caused by the passage of raindrops or the like, there is a high probability that even if one of the first detection signal and the second detection signal changes, the other does not change. , in the composite signal, it is unlikely that the variations will be superimposed on each other. On the other hand, since the pair of sensor electrodes can simultaneously detect the movement of a large object such as a user's hand, the change in the first detection signal and the second detection signal is an electrostatic discharge corresponding to the user's operation. In the case of capacitance change, the first detection signal and the second detection signal are expected to change simultaneously. Therefore, the amounts of change are superimposed on each other in the combined signal. In this way, the amount of change in the signal due to the passage of raindrops or the like is not superimposed, but the amount of change in the signal according to the user's operation is superimposed. can be properly separated.
