Claims (16)
- オプティカルコンバーター(1)であって、
前記オプティカルコンバーターは、セラミック要素(3)を含んでおり、前記セラミック要素(3)は、蛍光性であり、したがって、第1の波長の光が、前記セラミック要素(3)内に吸収され、より長い波長を有する蛍光が放射され、
前記セラミック要素は、前記セラミック要素(3)内に空間的に不均一に分布している孔(5)を含んでおり、
前記セラミック要素(3)内の前記孔(5)の分布は、不均一であり、
前記孔の位置の動径分布関数は、値が1である状態から偏差し、少なくとも1.2の値を有する特性距離(7)の極大値を有する、
オプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記孔(5)の動径分布関数は、前記特性距離を超えて距離が増加するのに従い、値が1である状態へと収束する、
請求項1記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記特性距離(7)よりも下方では、前記孔(5)の動径分布関数は、距離が短くなるほど小さく、値が1である状態を下回っている、
請求項1または2記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記動径分布関数の極大値は、2を下回る値を有している、
請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記特性距離(7)は、1.0μm~3μmの範囲にある、
請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記孔のサイズの分布は、0.5μm~1.2μm、有利には0.6μm~0.9μmのモーダル値を有している、
請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記セラミック要素は、ドープされたガーネット蛍光体、有利にはセリウムがドープされたイットリウム・アルミニウム・ガーネット(Ce:YAG)またはセリウムがドープされたルテチウム・アルミニウム・ガーネット(Ce:LuAG)またはセリウムがドープされたイットリウム/ガドリニウム・アルミニウム・ガーネット(Ce:Gd/YAG)である、
請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記セラミック要素(3)は、理論ソリッドステート密度の98%を下回る、有利には97%を下回る、特に有利には96%を下回る密度を有している、
請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記オプティカルコンバーター(1)は、第1の波長の光である青色光を吸収し、より長い波長を有する蛍光である黄色光または緑色光を放射する、
請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 570nmの波長を有する光の場合に、前記セラミック要素(3)の濁度値は、450nmの波長を有する光の場合の濁度値よりも高い、
請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 前記オプティカルコンバーター(1)は、ディスク状に形成された担体(21)をさらに含んでおり、ディスク状またはリング状に形成されたセラミック要素が前記担体(21)上に取り付けられており、コンバーターホイール(20)が形成される、
請求項1から10までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 多数のサンプルで測定された、前記セラミック要素から放射された光のcx値およびcy値の標準偏差は、0.005を下回る、または、
lm/Wで測定された、本発明に相応するセラミック要素の効率の標準偏差は、4lm/Wを下回る、
請求項1から11までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)。 - 光源光放射器と請求項1から12までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)とを含んでいる光源(2)であって、
前記光源光放射器は、自身の光源の光を、前記オプティカルコンバーター(1)の前記セラミック要素(3)上に向けるように配置されており、これによって、前記オプティカルコンバーター(1)は、前記光源の光より長い波長を有する第2の光を放射し、
前記セラミック要素(3)は、取付台(27)上に固定されており、前記取付台(27)は、静的である、または、前記セラミック要素(3)に対して回転運動または往復運動を提供するように構成されている、
光源(2)。 - 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項記載のオプティカルコンバーター(1)のセラミック要素(3)を製造する方法であって、前記方法は、
・原料をか焼するステップと、
・サスペンションを準備するために、適切な液体において前記原料をスラリー化するステップと、
・か焼された原料の前記サスペンションを粉砕するステップと、
・粉末状の原料を得るために、前記サスペンションを乾燥させるステップと、
・プレス加工されたブランクを得るために、粉末状の原料をプレス加工するステップと、
・前記プレス加工されたブランクを焼結するステップと、
を含んでおり、
前記方法は、前記粉末状の原料の部分的な凝集を保持するステップまたは引き起こすステップを含んでおり、これによって、前記プレス加工されたブランクが結晶粒度において不均一性を含み、これから製造された前記セラミック要素(3)は、前記孔の分布の空間的な不均一性を含んでおり、この結果、値が1である状態から偏差し、かつ少なくとも1.2の値を有する特性距離(7)の極大値を有する前記孔の位置の動径分布関数が生じる、
セラミック要素(3)を製造する方法。 - 前記粉末状の原料の結晶粒度分布が、粒子径のd99値が4.25μmを超えるように、部分的な凝集が保持または生成される、
請求項14記載の方法。 - 第1の活性化物質としてのセリウムがドープされたA3B5O12の組成のセラミック相が前記セラミック要素に対して選択されており、Aは、要素Y、Gd、Luおよびそれらの組み合わせから成るグループから選択されており、Bは、要素Al、Gaおよびそれらの組み合わせから成るグループから選択されており、酸化物の形態の原料A2O3、B2O3およびCeO2または粉末状のセリウムがドープされたA3B5O12が使用される、
請求項14または15記載の方法。
