Claims (15)
- 患者の体管腔内に位置付けられる可撓性細長部材であって、近位部分及び遠位部分を備える可撓性細長部材と、
前記可撓性細長部材の前記遠位部分に結合され、その遠位方向に位置付けられる超音波スキャナアセンブリであって、巻かれた構成の前記超音波スキャナアセンブリ内の空洞に近接して配設される複数の電気的構成要素を備える超音波スキャナアセンブリと、
前記超音波スキャナアセンブリの前記空洞を気密封止するために前記可撓性細長部材の前記遠位部分と、前記超音波スキャナアセンブリの近位部分だけとの上に延び、これらに直接的に接触する被覆と
を備える、管腔内撮像デバイス。 - 前記被覆は、前記可撓性細長部材の前記遠位部分及び前記超音波スキャナアセンブリの前記近位部分の上に直接的に堆積される、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記被覆は、疎水性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記被覆は、パリレンを含む、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記被覆は、3ミクロン未満の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記被覆は、マスキングラインによって形成された境界を有する、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記被覆は、前記可撓性細長部材及び前記超音波スキャナアセンブリの外周の周りに堆積される、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記超音波スキャナアセンブリは、近位部分及び遠位部分を含む可撓性基板を備え、前記可撓性基板は、前記空洞を取り囲むように前記管腔内撮像デバイスの長手軸の周りに位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記可撓性細長部材と前記超音波スキャナアセンブリとの間に配設される接着剤をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 管腔内撮像デバイスを製造する方法であって、前記方法は、
可撓性細長部材の遠位部分を超音波スキャナアセンブリの近位部分に接合するステップであって、前記超音波スキャナアセンブリは、巻かれた構成の前記超音波スキャナアセンブリ内の空洞に近接して配設される複数の電気的構成要素を備える、ステップと、
前記超音波スキャナアセンブリの前記空洞を気密封止するために前記可撓性細長部材の前記遠位部分と、前記超音波スキャナアセンブリの近位部分だけとの上にこれらに直接的に接触する被覆を堆積するステップと
を有する方法。 - 前記堆積するステップは、蒸着プロセスを有する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記被覆を受け入れるように前記可撓性細長部材の表面及び前記超音波スキャナアセンブリの表面を準備するステップをさらに有する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記表面を準備するステップは、プラズマエッチング、化学的エッチング、又はアルコールによる拭き取りのうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記堆積するステップの前に、前記超音波スキャナアセンブリ又は前記可撓性細長部材のうちの少なくとも1つをマスキングするステップをさらに有する、請求項10に記載の方法。
