Claims (12)
- (A)接合面を提供するベース;
(B)前記ベースと一体型であり、
前記ベースの前記接合面と対向する摩擦発生面を提供する、
多孔性摩擦発生層であって、
(i)繊維、及び
(ii)摩擦調節粒子を含み、
前記繊維の総表面積の30~95%が前記摩擦調節粒子と接触し、
前記繊維は、前記ベースに貫通する繊維を含む、
前記多孔性摩擦発生層;及び
(C)前記多孔性摩擦発生層及び前記ベース全体に分散される硬化性樹脂を含む、
摩擦材。 - 前記繊維の総表面積の30~90%が前記摩擦調節粒子と接触している、請求項1に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記多孔性摩擦発生層は、5~100μmの平均孔隙サイズ及び/または0.4~0.9g/cm3の密度を有する、請求項1または2に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦調節粒子は、シリカ、炭素、黒鉛、アルミナ、マグネシア、酸化カルシウム、チタニア、セリア、ジルコニア、コージエライト、ムライト、シリマナイト、スポジュメン、ペタライト、ジルコン、炭化ケイ素、炭化チタン、炭化ホウ素、炭化ハフニウム、窒化ケイ素、窒化チタン、ホウ化チタン、カシューナッツ、ゴム、及びこれらの組合せから選択される、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦調節粒子は、
0.1μm~30μmの平均直径及び3~9のモース硬度を有する珪藻土;及び/または、
カシューナットシェルオイル、ゴムまたはこれらの組合せから誘導された粒子を含み、前記粒子は、ISO 6310に従って試験したときに1.5~7.5%の圧縮率を有する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。 - 前記繊維は、セルロース繊維、アラミド繊維、アクリル繊維、炭素繊維、及びこれらの組合せから選択され、前記繊維は、1μm~500μmの平均直径及び2mm~20mmの平均長さを有する、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦調節粒子は、前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり10~100lbsの量で前記摩擦材内に存在し;及び/または
前記繊維は、前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり1~200lbs(278.7m2当たり0.5kg~2.7kg)の量で前記摩擦材内に存在する、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。 - 請求項1~7のいずれか一項による硬化された摩擦材を含み、前記硬化された摩擦材のベースの接合面は、基材に接合される、摩擦板。
- (A)接合面を提供するベース;
(B)前記ベースと一体型であり、
前記ベースの前記接合面と対向する摩擦発生面を提供する多孔性摩擦発生層であって、
(i)0.4~0.9g/cm3の密度;及び
(ii)5~100μmの平均孔隙サイズを有する、
前記多孔性摩擦発生層;及び
(C)前記多孔性摩擦発生層及び前記ベース全体に分散される硬化性樹脂を含む、
摩擦材。 - 前記多孔性摩擦発生層は、0.4~0.8g/cm3の密度、及び10~50μmの平均孔隙サイズを有する、請求項9に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦材は、前記摩擦発生面と前記接合面との間の距離として定義される厚さを有し、前記多孔性摩擦発生層は、前記摩擦発生面から前記接合面に向かって前記厚さの40%まで延長される、請求項9または10に記載の摩擦材。
- 請求項9~11のいずれか一項による硬化された摩擦材を含み、前記硬化された摩擦材のベースの接合面は、基材に接着される、摩擦板。
