Claims (3)
- 回転動力源の回転駆動軸としての入力軸と、この入力軸のトルクが伝達される従動出力源の従動軸としての出力軸とを、それぞれ軸受け部で回転可能に支持された形態で連結する自在継手であって、
この自在継手が、前記入力軸が装着可能な連結部を有する第1のヨークと、前記出力軸が装着可能な連結部を有する第2のヨークと、前記第1のヨークと第2のヨークとの間に介在し、前記第1及び第2のヨークを揺動又は回動可能に連結するための中間軸部材とを少なくとも備えており、この中間軸部材が、前記第1のヨーク及び第2のヨークに対して揺動又は回動可能に連結可能な十字軸を備えた中空円筒状の非伸縮部材で形成され、
前記第1及び第2のヨークの前記連結部が、この連結部の軸孔部の軸芯に沿って軸線方向に延びる切離面で切離された側面視L字状の形態を有しており;ヨーク本体と連なり、かつ前記軸受け部で回転可能に支持された前記入力軸及び出力軸が装着又は収容可能な断面半円弧状の軸孔部を有する受け部と;この受け部に対して締結可能であり、断面半円弧状の軸孔部を有するカバー部材とに分離され;前記受け部及び前記カバー部材の前記軸孔部が、互いに同じ深さに形成され;前記カバー部材により前記受け部の前記軸孔部が開放可能であり、
前記入力軸及び出力軸と、前記受け部の軸孔部とに、長手方向に延びて互いに係合可能な係合部が形成されている、自在継手。 - 連結部の軸孔部に対する入力軸及び出力軸の装着長さLsと、連結部の受け部の軸方向の長さLcとが、Ls≦Lcの関係を満たす請求項1記載の自在継手。
- 回転動力源の回転駆動軸としての入力軸と、この入力軸のトルクが伝達される従動出力源の従動軸としての出力軸とが、それぞれ軸受け部で回転可能に支持された状態で、自在継手を介して連結された動力伝達機構であって、前記自在継手が、請求項1又は2記載の自在継手である、動力伝達機構。
