Description
The present invention relates to a position estimation device for an autonomous mobile body.
As a position estimating device for an autonomous mobile body, for example, as described in
However, in the conventional technology described above, it is difficult to estimate the self-position of the autonomous mobile body with high accuracy because the self-position estimation result may deviate depending on the surrounding environment of the autonomous mobile body.
An object of the present invention is to provide a position estimation device for an autonomous mobile body that can improve the accuracy of self-position estimation of the autonomous mobile body.
One aspect of the present invention is an autonomous mobile body position estimation device for estimating the position of an autonomous mobile body, comprising: a self-position estimator for estimating the self-position of an autonomous mobile body using a self-position estimation technique; A self-position detection unit that has a sensor provided on the body and detects the self-position of the autonomous mobile body, an estimated position value of the autonomous mobile body obtained by the self-position estimator, and an autonomy obtained by the self-position detection unit An outlier remover that compares the position detection value of the mobile body and extracts and removes an outlier from the estimated position value of the autonomous mobile body, and the position of the autonomous mobile body from which the outlier is removed by the outlier remover A final self-position estimator for finally estimating the self-position of the autonomous mobile body based on the estimated value.
In such a position estimation device, the position estimation value of the autonomous mobile body obtained by the self-position estimator and the position detection value of the autonomous mobile body obtained by the self-position detection unit are compared to determine the position of the autonomous mobile body. Outliers in the estimates are extracted and removed. Then, the self-position of the autonomous mobile body is finally estimated based on the estimated position value of the autonomous mobile body from which the outlier is removed. When the self-position of the autonomous mobile body is finally estimated in this way, the outliers of the position estimation values of the autonomous mobile body are not used, so that the self-position of the autonomous mobile body is prevented from deviating greatly. This improves the accuracy of estimating the self-position of the autonomous mobile body.
The outlier remover removes the relative position between the position detection value of the autonomous mobile body obtained this time by the self-position detection part and the position detection value of the autonomous mobile body obtained last time by the self-position detection part, and the self-position estimator Calculate the difference between the position estimation value of the autonomous mobile body obtained this time and the position estimation value of the autonomous mobile body obtained last time by the self-position estimator and the relative position, and is large, the position estimation value of the autonomous mobile body obtained this time may be removed as an outlier. With such a configuration, the accuracy of extracting an outlier in the position estimation value of the autonomous mobile body is increased, so the accuracy of estimating the self-position of the autonomous mobile body is further improved.
The threshold may be changed according to the surrounding environment of the autonomous mobile body. In such a configuration, since an optimum threshold value is set according to the surrounding environment of the autonomous mobile body, the extraction accuracy of outliers in the position estimation value of the autonomous mobile body is further increased. This further improves the estimation accuracy of the self-position of the autonomous mobile body.
The self-position estimator estimates the two-dimensional position and orientation of the autonomous mobile body as the self-position of the autonomous mobile body, and the self-position detector detects the two-dimensional position and orientation of the autonomous mobile body as the self-position of the autonomous mobile body. You may In such a configuration, not only the two-dimensional position of the autonomous mobile body but also the orientation of the autonomous mobile body is taken into consideration, so that the outlier extraction accuracy of the position estimation value of the autonomous mobile body is further enhanced. This further improves the estimation accuracy of the self-position of the autonomous mobile body.
The calculation formula may be a formula for adding variables related to the two-dimensional position and orientation of the autonomous mobile body. In such a configuration, since one calculation formula including elements of the two-dimensional position and orientation of the autonomous mobile body is used, the two-dimensional position and orientation of the autonomous mobile body are comprehensively judged, and the position of the autonomous mobile body It becomes possible to extract the outliers of the estimated values. Also, only one threshold is required.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the estimation precision of the self-position of an autonomous mobile body can be improved.

Subsequently, the
The relative position (x, y, θ) may be calculated as an average value of the position estimation value obtained by the first self-
Subsequently, the
Subsequently, the
For example, when the
Further, when the
計算式f(x),f(y),f(θ)は、下記式で表される。
Subsequently, the
When the
The
FIG. 4 is a flowchart showing the details of the self-position estimation processing procedure executed by the final self-
In FIG. 4 , the final self-
Subsequently, the final self-
At this time, since the estimation accuracy of SLAM is higher indoors than the estimation accuracy of GNSS, the error variance of first self-
As described above, in this embodiment, the position estimation value of the
In the present embodiment, the relative position (x d , y d , θ d ), the position estimation value of the
Further, in this embodiment, the thresholds δx, δy, δθ are changed according to the surrounding environment of the
Further, in the present embodiment, the first self-
FIG. 5 is a flow chart showing a modification of the outlier removal processing procedure shown in FIG. In FIG. 5, the
After executing step S114, the
Subsequently, the
When the
