Description
図1において、減圧発酵乾燥機3は、多孔質物質として褐炭が投入口30aから内部に投入される。この投入口30aから投入される褐炭は、瀝青炭に比べて、石炭化度が低く、炭素含有量も少ない一方、水分含有量が30~60%と多く、発電効率が悪いため、未利用資源として残る場合が多いものである。
図1の水素製造装置1において、減圧発酵乾燥機3で得られた微粉砕炭48は、ガス化炉(ガス化装置)50に供給される。

Claims (7)
- 水分を含んだ多孔質物質である褐炭を密閉容器に収容し、褐炭を減圧下において所定の温度範囲に加熱しながら撹拌するとともに、微生物を前記密閉容器に投入し、該微生物を褐炭の細孔に入り込ませて、該微生物の発酵熱によって褐炭の水分を蒸発させて乾燥させる減圧発酵乾燥機を備えた多孔質物質の乾燥装置と、
前記乾燥装置の減圧発酵乾燥機により得られた乾燥した褐炭をガス化し、一酸化炭素と水素を主成分とするガスを生成するガス化装置と、を備え、
前記減圧発酵乾燥機による減圧発酵乾燥工程では、減圧下において、褐炭の細孔に入り込んだ微生物による発酵を行う発酵工程と、その微生物の発酵熱によって褐炭を中心部分まで乾燥させる乾燥工程とを、褐炭の乾燥によって微生物による発酵が停止するまで行うとともに、前記容器内を減圧状態に保った状態のまま、乾燥によって脆くなった褐炭が粒径0.1mm以下の微粉砕炭の状態となるまで攪拌によって粉砕し、
前記減圧発酵乾燥機で得られた微粉砕炭を、前記ガス化装置に供給し、前記ガス化装置によって一酸化炭素と水素を主成分とするガスを生成する、ことを特徴とする水素製造装置。 - 請求項1に記載の水素製造装置において、
前記ガス化装置により生成されたガスに含まれる不純物を除去するガス精製装置を備えた
ことを特徴とする水素製造装置。 - 請求項2に記載の水素製造装置において、
前記ガス精製装置により不純物を除去されたガス中の一酸化炭素をシフト反応して二酸化炭素を生成し、該二酸化炭素を前記水素から分離する二酸化炭素分離装置を備えた
ことを特徴とする水素製造装置。 - 請求項3に記載の水素製造装置において、
前記二酸化炭素分離装置により二酸化炭素と分離された水素を液化した液体水素を貯留する貯留装置を備えた
ことを特徴とする水素製造装置。 - 請求項3又は4に記載の水素製造装置において、
前記二酸化炭素分離装置により分離された二酸化炭素は、陸又は海底の地層中に封じ込められる
ことを特徴とする水素製造装置。 - 請求項4に記載の水素製造装置において、
前記貯留装置に貯留された液体水素を所定場所に運搬する運搬機関を備えた
ことを特徴とする水素製造装置。 - 水分を含んだ多孔質物質である褐炭を密閉容器に収容し、褐炭を減圧下において所定の温度範囲に加熱しながら撹拌するとともに、微生物を前記密閉容器に投入し、該微生物を褐炭の細孔に入り込ませて、該微生物の発酵熱によって褐炭の水分を蒸発させて乾燥させる減圧発酵乾燥機を備えた多孔質物質の乾燥装置と、
前記乾燥装置の減圧発酵乾燥機により得られた乾燥した褐炭をガス化し、一酸化炭素と水素を主成分とするガスを生成するガス化装置と、を備えた水素製造装置を用い、
前記減圧発酵乾燥機による減圧発酵乾燥工程では、減圧下において、褐炭の細孔に入り込んだ微生物による発酵を行う発酵工程と、その微生物の発酵熱によって褐炭を中心部分まで乾燥させる乾燥工程とを、褐炭の乾燥によって微生物による発酵が停止するまで行うとともに、前記容器内を減圧状態に保った状態のまま、乾燥によって脆くなった褐炭が粒径0.1mm以下の微粉砕炭の状態となるまで攪拌によって粉砕し、
続いて、前記減圧発酵乾燥機で得られた微粉砕炭を、前記ガス化装置に供給し、前記ガス化装置によって一酸化炭素と水素を主成分とするガスを生成する、ことを特徴とする水素製造方法。
