Claims (11)
- シリカ系ガラスからなる光ファイバであって、
コアと、前記コアを取り囲み前記コアの屈折率より小さい屈折率を有するクラッドと、を含み、
前記コアの半径の1/2の位置を境界として前記コアを内側コアと外側コアとに区分したときに、前記内側コアの平均塩素濃度Aと前記外側コアの平均塩素濃度Bとの比A/Bが1.5より大きく、
前記コアがアルカリ金属元素またはアルカリ土類金属元素を含み、
前記内側コアの前記アルカリ金属元素または前記アルカリ土類金属元素の平均濃度が前記外側コアの前記アルカリ金属元素または前記アルカリ土類金属元素の平均濃度より大きい、
光ファイバ。 - 前記コアにおける塩素濃度の径方向変化率が-10wtppm/μm以下である、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記内側コアの平均塩素濃度が100wtppm~2000wtppmである、
請求項1または2に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記外側コアの平均塩素濃度が100wtppm~2000wtppmである、
請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記内側コアの平均塩素濃度Aと前記外側コアの平均塩素濃度Bとの比A/Bが2.0より大きい、
請求項1~4の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアがフッ素を含む、
請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアにおける平均フッ素濃度が500~5000wtppmである、
請求項6に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアにおけるアルカリ金属元素またはアルカリ土類金属元素の平均濃度が0.2~200wtppmである、
請求項1~7の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアがアルカリ金属元素またはアルカリ土類金属元素としてナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、セシウム、カルシウムの何れかを含む、
請求項1~8の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - 波長1550nmにおいて伝搬するモードの数が1である、
請求項1~9の何れか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - 波長1550nmにおいて伝搬するモードの数が2以上である、
