Claims (4)
- 摩擦クラッチと、
前記摩擦クラッチから動力が伝達される入力軸と、変速用のシフトアンドセレクト軸とを有する変速機と、
前記摩擦クラッチおよび前記変速機を外周側から囲む周壁と、該周壁の内部を前記摩擦クラッチが収納されるクラッチ室と前記変速機が収納される変速機室とに区画する隔壁と、を有する変速機ケースと、
前記周壁の外面に固定されるベースプレートを有し、前記摩擦クラッチを操作するクラッチアクチュエータと、前記シフトアンドセレクト軸を操作するシフトアクチュエータとが、前記ベースプレートに取り付けられたシフトユニットと、を有する自動変速機であって、
前記シフトアンドセレクト軸及び前記ベースプレートは、前記入力軸に沿う方向で前記隔壁と隣接する位置に配置され、
前記ベースプレートは、前記入力軸に沿う方向で前記隔壁を跨ぐように配置され、かつ、前記周壁における前記クラッチ室の外面と前記変速機室の外面とに複数の固定部において締結により固定され、
複数の前記固定部は、前記入力軸に沿う方向で前記隔壁の両側に配置され、
前記隔壁および前記シフトアンドセレクト軸は、前記入力軸に沿う方向で前記ベースプレートの複数の前記固定部の間に配置されていることを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 前記隔壁には、前記入力軸が通過する筒状部が前記クラッチ室側に突出して形成されており、
前記入力軸に沿う方向で前記ベースプレートが配置される領域において、前記周壁の内面と前記隔壁と前記筒状部とがリブによって連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記入力軸の軸線上にトルクコンバータが配置され、
前記トルクコンバータの出力側に前記摩擦クラッチが連結され、
前記変速機ケースは、前記トルクコンバータに供給するオイルを貯留するオイル貯留室を有し、
前記オイル貯留室は、前記周壁のうち前記クラッチ室を形成しかつ前記ベースプレートが固定される領域の下方に配置されるオイルパンと、前記周壁の下面から前記オイルパンの周縁部に向かって下方に延びる縦壁部と、前記縦壁部の下端に形成され前記オイルパンに接合されるフランジ部と、から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記変速機ケースを下方から見て、前記縦壁部が環状または矩形に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自動変速機。
